Anyone due to get BFP/AF at Xmas?

The pressure is on... in the TWW and AF is due right around Xmas. Spending the holidays with my in laws, and both wanting to drink through the holidays/not drink as in the TWW. I’m also dreading a little bit of feeling down if I get AF right at Xmas. If anyone is looking for a TWW companion/obsessor here I am ☺️. Thanks @Shortmamashortcycles and @MrsLeclerc I don't think I've had any symptoms so far other than my usual pre AF stuff. My rhr was up slightly this morning. I just hope it sticks and all works out ok 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Sorry.. I've been so busy with my sons birthday yesterday and Xmas eve today that I haven't caught up! Congratulations to all the Christmas BFPs 🎉🎅🏼 and baby. Dust to those still waiting to test 🤞🏻
CD28.. DPO WHO KNOWS?! and a BFN on my morning FRER - feeling like the grinch 😩
Sticking to my mantra that it's not over until AF shows her face and I'm thinking that will be around 28th Dec if I go by last month.

Oh wow.... Can't believe how many BFP there are! Congrats to all 🥰 What a lovely surprise! @kitty1993, did you have any symptoms? I'm still planning on testing tomorrow morning at 10dpo, but am not feeling overly optimistic! Only symptoms per se are really sore boobs which have gotten progressively worse since about 5dpo.. I've symptom spotted like crazy before and sworn month in and month out that I'm pregnant so not holding my breath!! Baby dust to everyone yet to test 🥰

@ali2021 I was literally saying to DP last night that I didn't feel any different and didn't think I had any symptoms but now I look back at the last few days I realise yesterday I started needing a wee more and also got a bit light headed which I haven't had for years! I've got sore boobs but I always get that around this time of the month

OMG the positives today!!! So much great news, congratulations to all, i'm so happy for you!! @TheBirdintheCave keep testing over the next few days, I hope it gets darker/pinker, what DPO are you? @Chasingrainbows1518 wow wow wow, that is such a line, I didn't even have to open it lol. @kitty1993 yessssss, that is amazing and very clear, also so early!

@LittleMrsMama and @oldermam the cheapie tests can be so rubbish, hope tomorrow is better. I once did a clearblue and got the error message, which was so frustrating at that price!

To everyone who hasn't tested positive but still no AF I am crossing everything for you that we are just a bit too early still, best of luck!

@madeleine85 I thought I was 12/13dpo but honestly if I ovulated later than I thought I could be as early as 10dpo. I normally feel it but this cycle I had ovulation pains three days in a row the worst being the last day. I counted O from the middle day but it was just a guess really.

Theres also the fact that that test was taken at 7am but I had to get up to pee at 5am so it was only a two hour hold.

@TheBirdintheCave ahhh that makes so much sense if it’s a 2 hour hold! This must be the best Xmas present. Did you tell your Other half? I was going to hold off till Xmas day but then the day I first tested he saw the one I thought I put out of sight in the bathroom 😂. Glad to have shared though now.

OH's dad is really poorly and probably not going to last the weekend. He had a phone call today. He's allowed to go in to see him tomorrow but there is also Covid on the ward x

Well I caved and tested... stark white BFN once again. Another month down 😔 Honestly such a killer every month! Does anyone else do as I do and mentally calculate when your baby will be due, when you'll be able to tell ppl etc... why do I do it to myself, so crushing 🙈

I was going to keep it a surprise but I was too excited and wanted to see if he could see the line too. He said he could but was sceptical cos it was so faint. We’re at my parents now for Christmas so I don’t have access to any more tests for a few days. I’ll just have to see if AF arrives or not :)

Good luck to everyone testing today. I did another test this morning, I think it’s got a little darker but still seems very light to me which has me feeling nervous about another chemical preg 😩 so I’ll probably keep testing daily to see if the lines darken and try to make me feel a bit more at ease.

@Chasingrainbows1518 it looks progressing to me 🤞. I can definitely see the 2nd clearer. How many dpo are you?

I’m away and didn’t pack many tests as I didn’t want to jinx myself. I’ve now ran out of frer and easy at home. I have one clear blue which just says pregnant/not, and one box of cheap supermarket brand + sign ones. Stressing as I can’t check progression with using all the different varieties 🤦‍♀️. Clearly did not plan well lol. Hope you’re all doing better on that front!

@madeleine85 thank you, according to my app I’m 14 dpo now. I was hoping to get a much darker line today with FMU…will try not to worry and see how things go. It’s easier said than done though isn’t it!!

Ahh I can imagine that is stressful not having access to more tests lol keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@Chasingrainbows1518 I know how hard it is to not test daily as i am incapable, but I think hcg doubles every 48 hours normally. Some people always have lower levels though and totally healthy pregnancies. I’m hoping when you test tomorrow you’ll get a clear swing upwards from the first one. When I had dd, I first tested in week 5/6 and it was so strong, it’s hard looking at faint lines this time around and really thinking they are going somewhere. Urghhh. Anyway, I hope you are having a slightly sober but amazing Xmas day, so much to be happy for ❤️. Keep me updated how it goes!

A BF - Xmas - N for me this morning. But predictable, I'm only 8dpo. No symptoms whatsoever. So I will test again in two days.

I haven't tested yet, too busy atm, OH is leaving for the hospital soon so I'll do it once he's gone. Hoping with all my heart I can give him this today it would mean the world. I have had af cramps all night though. So I'm not hopefully xx

Woke up to brown spotting so I think I’m having a chemical :( I can still see the faint pink line on yesterday’s test (though I can’t photograph it no matter how hard I try) and it came up within a minute so I don’t think it’s an indent or a false positive (the other one from this pack showed its negative very clearly) :/ I’m so disappointed but I suppose I can have a cider later on now :)
