Hoping for BFP's in January! New year; new start! Who's with me!?

31st of December so I'm at the end of my period now.

Getting really fed up. Time to call the GP tomorrow. Another 2 bfp this morning, on 25miu tests. Then did 2 10miu tests (cb 6 days early and the cb digital that is also 6 days early at 10miu) and both bfn and not pregnant. How can I be getting bfp everyday for a week now. Only yesterday did they start getting very slightly stronger. I would assume hcg is left in my system after such a heavy bleed after I got my 1st bfp on 27th Dec. But my hcg blood test was

I haven't ever conceived with covid but have done before when very unwell. It sadly didn't last but there was definitely conception there. So there's always a chance!🤞

Must say though @Moonshine160 you gave me a giggle re: the mask sex! And you def win first prize for effort this month 😂

@CJB92 how very frustrating and confusing! I don't really understand that at all :( But yes def get a blood test from GP tomorrow x

@Moonshine160 I had covid this cycle but it was before ovulation and it pushed my ovulation back by 3 days. I got my peak yesterday but I'm now fully recovered so that's the only information I can give you. You're body definitely seems to adjust for being ill put don't know in what way after ovulation. Keeping everything crossed for you and hope for a quick recovery from covid xxx

@mightbeyesmightbeno oh no! Hopefully you're scooping method worked. What timing! I hope you're feeling okay about it though

@CJB92 Yeahh definitely time for a blood test I think, how strange! There's obviously HCG there for a test to pick it up, I've got everything crossed for you that it's good news

@Moonshine160 Sorry to hear you've caught COVID, get better soon! You might still conceive as I have a friend who caught COVID and then found out she was pregnant a few days later so it is possible!

Thanks @Purple29 and @Decaffe for the timing advice, am hoping to give it a go this month though my cycle varies by up to 5 days thanks to pcos so hard to time it right! I've ovulated on cd16 according to opks the last couple of months so am basing it on that date!

Our main problem this month is we're having to temporarily move into my parents tomorrow (cd 12!) while we have building works done and neither I nor DH like the idea of dtd there so maybe not happen! Anyone else had to do secret bd in other peoples houses while ttc?

Thanks guys. I really hole they will do another blood test. Everyday I think i'll know more but i don't. I even just dipped the same test I used , but a new one, in water to see if they were faulty. But nope. I dont understand how tests can show bfp and bloods negative. Surely not all brands can be wrong. But I was also so sure it was chemical, because the blood and clots were so much. I'm still light light bleeding/almost spotting but yet the tests still say bfp. Well at least the ones that are 25miu are. The 10miu are saying bfn. Which makes no sense!

Morning ladies have a very bad feeling I'm having a chemical, my line this morning was way fainter than yesterday I'm hoping it isn't the case but just have a horrible niggling feeling 😞

I'm no longer feeling very optimistic either. Tested today 10dpo and stark white negative, not even a squinter. More cramps so think AF will arrive weds like expected.

@mightbeyesmightbeno omg! This exact thing happened to me last Tuesday. I'm like wtf didn't do the scoop thing I was just horrified😂I must have been on CD9 and I don't tell him when I'm in fertile week because he feels all pressured poor soul 🙄 I told him after that disaster😂😂

@arianasky I have everything crossed for you that isn't, did you use FMU again? If you took one later on it could still be just too early to get a strong line with later urine (I hope I've made any sort of sense there)

@CJB92 Could you ring your EPU? See if they could get you in sooner for some bloods and maybe a scan?

@jazmine38 I can imagine you were horrfied! 😅 I don't think I'd even know what to do or say tbh! 😂

Have had some spotting now too which is normal for me 2 days before AF. I had what I thought was IB 5dpo so I doubt that is what this is.

I dont know if they will do anything, when I called the GP on 28th Dec I explained how I never seem to get further than 6-7 weeks and I'm concerned as I've had 4 miscarriages and been ttc for 5 years now. I suggested progesterone to hold onto it and my GP called EPU and they said the earliest they would scan me is at 6 weeks which would be on 10th January, and if they confirm pregnancy by scan they will give me progesterone. I said I think I need it now so I can make it that far to be scanned! But never got it. So I dont think EPU will offer anything sooner than 10th. I'm going to call my GP tomorrow. I really thought If 2 tests at 25miu show up as bfp and getting darker why wouldn't tests that are 10miu show up? It's really odd.

What do you think ladies? I am so scared it will end in chemical again 😢 two was enough 😢 the bottom one is not fully dried of course, taken 20m ago but the line showed up immediately.

@CJB92 I'm the same as you, have had 2 miscarriages and both were around 6/7 weeks. Have u had tests done or anything? I think progesterone only works if you have threatened miscarriage

I've had bloods done, and a scan, they said the scan of my uterus was fine, and bloods, I had them ordered at the start of covid and haven't got ahead yet, but I've had a full blood count done last week when I had HCG levels done and I checked the results on my app and all look okay, progesterone a bit low though. My gynae said if bloods come back fine they would not investigate further. :( my GP said before I probably need progesterone but would only get it at my first scan, but trouble is I don't get that far so not really helpful.

I had a bfp on 26th and 27th, then 28th I started to bleed and had bloods done which said I had hcg

@AlmostLondoner that bottom one defo looks positive. How many dpo are you? Also can someone who is more tech savy than me make a new thread?😅

Today I have really bad back pain and pain under my ribs. Which I've not had til today, my back pain has been ongoing for a few days. Every now and then I've had twinges or a sharp pain in my uterus, but not today. Its mainly the back and rib pain now

The second image is two tests, top one I dipped in water because I felt I was going crazy and bottom is the one I did this morning. Hoping GP will shed light tomorrow and do some blood tests.
