Hi everyone! I went to the toilet and went to wipe and had loads of slippery cm! When should I do the ovulation test? Should I wait until tomorrow morning?

😢 only 5dpo and think I'm out already. Ovulation was earlier than I was expecting this cycle (I only OPK so unconfirmed ovulation) by 2 days. And today some unexpected bleeding. I'm guessing 5dpo is way too early for implantation bleeding so I'm guessing its a very early AF and maybe I didn't ovulate and my booster jab messed my cycle up a bit this month

No, you need to be doing them now. Few hours hold and a mid afternoon wee. Hold it in urine for about 10 seconds. Leave it flat on the side. They take about 10-15 minutes to develop fully (up to half an hour really. Which brand are you using?). If you have premom or similar, log them into there to chart. Good luck!

Definitely start using opks this afternoon @Hopingforarainbow27! If you have the cheaper strip ones, do at least 2 a day until you get your positive. Good luck!

@Nico89 is spotting at this time in your cycle normal? I wouldn't necessarily say it's too early for implantation. Just thinking about people who get bfps at 8/9dpo - surely implantation could've happened earlier? Hope this doesn't mean you're out, keep us updated.

@Cruz86 nope not normal. I do experience spotting for about 3 days prior to AF but its another week until AF is due and its usually different from this. I have no other AF symptoms at present except for maybe a slight pulling sensation on rhs.
I've never experienced ovulation bleeding before but now wondering if I didn't ovulate when i thought and this is late ovulation...? Might do opk later.

@arianasky same happened to me last months with tests / around your days PO and although i think conception happened it then turned in a chemical. Keeping fingers crossed that your line gets darker 🤞🤞🤞

Ah I see, so if they see a lower than expected level of P at D21 then they can intervene? Hopefully your bloods are ok and you don't have to do again.

For anyone interested when I got pregnant with my daughter, I spotted day 26-30 and assumed it was early & light AF. Turned out I got a BFP day 30 when I started to think about it. So there's always hope with spotting!

@mightbeyesmightbeno how long were your cycles? Ie at how many dpo were you?

@Nico89 just checked on app, meant day 25-30 spotting.
Don't actually know how many days PO as I was in holiday & didn't track that month but cycles always 28/29 days so probably around 7dsys PO

Does anyone know if you can do the keto diet whilst TTC? I am 10kg heavier than I was with my other two pregnancies (even full term!) and the heaviest I've ever been in my life....

@mightbeyesmightbeno I also had a chemical last month, sorry to hear you did, that's why I'm not getting excited or anything and not holding my breath, if I'm not pregnant then next month I will wait until 13/14dpo to test to save my sanity haha!

Thanks @Cruz86 @HeyFloof I have the pink clear blue ones! I had slippery cm last month on the same day but didn't get positive opk until 7 days later! I don't think I actually ovulated last month because I had moist cm nearly the whole time up until af! This time there was loads of slippery cm so I'm hoping that's a good sign! I will test about 3ish!?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can you have a period without ovulating? I haven't been using ovulation sticks so perhaps I need to.

I got pregnant first try last time about 18 months ago, it didn't work out and we are trying again.

No luck so far!

Hi all. Just catching up with the thread. The doctors rang this morning and turns out I have a bad chest infection so starting 7 days of antibiotics as of today, and I also have my booster booked for a weeks time so I’m sure it’s going to mess my cycle up. I’m hoping the antibiotics won’t affect anything but who knows! I’m entering my fertile window in 2 days x

Sorry been a bit MIA lately just busy with Xmas and DD has been ill too. I'm in my FW and due to ovulate Fri/Sat so just trying to make time to DTD!

Woo my opk test was positive! Earliest it's ever been! Thanks to the Chinese herbs!

Hi all! Hope it's ok to join! Currently on cycle 1 TTC #1. Came off the pill in October and now have super long cycles. Started using OPKs last month to track before we start trying and got a peak on CD34. I have finally got another peak this month yesterday on CD35.

Will I have a chance this month? I'm not expecting too much as I know the % is so low. I've heard you're meant to dtd leading up to your peak as well for the best chance but my peak just appeared out of nowhere (I've put a picture of my OPKs) we weren't able to do anything last week, we dtd on Monday CD34, nothing last night as husband wasn't well but we'll dtd tonight and maybe tomorrow?

I'm only on CD 7 and I'm already getting what looks like ewcm. I did ovulate on day 11 a few cycles ago so I suppose it's possible but it just seems so early!

Really wish I didn't test yesterday I'm driving myself insane I'm only 8/9 dpo but feel like I'm out already just a weird feeling and I just want AF to hurry up so I can get on with it. I'm obviously still hoping I'm pregnant but just don't feel like I am 😔 did a clear blue early detection and got a faint line there aswell? harder to get on camera I'll post the pics to show but I just think I'm having bad luck with indents or something 🤷🏻‍♀️ it came up within time frame pic is as soon as I turned the test over... I'm not testing at all tomorrow but I'll have to NYE as planning on a drink or two and I wouldn't if it was positive

@arianasky I can definitely see a line. I would be tempted to try a first response. I used a clear blue in my last pregnancy and didn't get a positive until 10dpo.

@arianasky crossing everything for you that this sticks. Over the last week I have realised that all the different test brands are horribly inconsistent, and as I have POAS many times, I can say that some work, some don't and even using multiples in the same box at the same time gives different readings. I have gone back to the cheap easy at home strips as I honestly think they are the most reliable.
Don't give up hope just yet. If it makes you feel better, my tests were so inconsistent with line growth using the expensive brands and I got so worked up that I called my doctor and gave them my sob story and they took me for early bloods, but clearly think I am insane. Since switching to the cheapie strip tests I actually see improvement. Maybe practice a little self care, pamper yourself a bit and then take another test tomorrow. I found I was getting up in the middle of the night to pee/drinking a lot before bed, so my FMU wasn't the most concentrated, the better one was actually an hour after I had gotten up if that makes sense. If it makes you feel better, I do see something on your test, so I really really hope it progresses for you x

@Nico89 it is completely possible that it is implantation (not to get your hopes up). I had implantation cramps this time DPO 3-7, worst cramping was on day 4-5. Really hope that this is what you have going on!

Thank you @MyloC and @madeleine85, I totally agree about all the tests being all different I'll do one FRER tomorrow with FMU or an hour after like you mentioned and I guess keep doing that till they darken or AF appears. I guess only time will tell

Anyone else obsessed with watching YouTube vids on TWW symptoms and pregnancy test line progression vids 😂 my DP was back in work today and I've gone down a rabbit hole haha! I'm going crazy I swear 🙈
