Hello all, not been here in a little while. Think I've ovulated today as got my peak LH yesterday and had a bit of cramping today. At my parents so can't DTD but did so yesterday and day before so hoping we're in a good position. Bit later than I normally would (CD16). Not sure when I will test yet but will add to the calendar soon 😊

20 years ago! Almost to the day! It didn't burst though just grew horribly massive so I had major surgery to have it removed! I knew I had cysts that come and go but never had one burst before!

@PoleFairy I've not been worrying about alcohol either 😬 I think because it's cycle 1 and with our second it took so long, I'm trying hard to not get my hopes up that it'll be that easy so just don't think it'll happen this cycle. I'm also mid 30s now.

January will be a different matter I expect though!

Had a few 'episodes' of kind of ewcm although I'm 5dpo which is weird. I've also had super sensitive sense of smell the last two days which I had with one of my other pregnancies but I'm sure it's way too early for symptom spotting!

@oldermam that sounds awful. Hope you make a quick recovery. Must have been scary!

I tracked using Ovulation sticks for my last pregnancy but I feel I've been looking at this for too long. Do you guys think the last one is a positive for ovulation?

@MyloC I would personally say so, but I don't really have any experience with OPKs myself sorry!

@MyloC I think so too. I like the easy@home sticks because you take a pic and it literally works out how close the testing line is to the control. I think yours looks equally as dark so ovulation v soon 😊

Hi everyone, I’m cycle 5, ttc #1. Based on my app I am 9dpo and due either 31/12 or 1/1. Ive not really had anything I could remotely spot as a symptom this month except a really strong pain in my belly button yesterday. It lasted for about a minute. Tried to convince myself it’s an implant sensation but honestly I have no idea if that’s even a thing.
I did a test today and obviously got BFN but couldn’t resist the urge. Going to try and not test for a couple more days now.

No worries at all, just glad there’s a logical explanation. I thought it was maybe that there’s so many of us testing on the 6th there’s not enough space for all the names or something. Your explanation makes a lot more sense! Thanks for clarifying 😍 xx

Hi 👋 can I join? TTC number 3! Ovulation is tomorrow (apparently!) my periods have been all over the place since my Covid jab in august so I'm thinking it may take quite some time.
Period is due 13th Jan but I tend to spot for 6 days before it fully starts so if that doesn't happen in Jan I will be excited!

Can't wait to read everyone's comments and see all those BFP's!

My period should start on 6th but I have to test on 4th as I am supposed to donate blood that morning.

It was those micro MC so it was easier to handle. My little one is 20 months,wee explorer. We feel like it's time for another one 😊

Hi all! TTC #2, cycle #3 after losing my daughter at 1 day old in April. She was born at full term and there was no indication anything was wrong until she was 8 hours old. They believe she had a rare condition called ACD/MPV. Not much is known about it, it’s sometimes spontaneous and sometimes hereditary. My husband and I had genetic testing which was clear but they only know the gene that causes the condition in 80% of cases. There is a 1/150000 chance of this illness but once it’s happened, the chance of it happening again is now roughly 4%.

I don’t know if I’m ready for the emotional roller coaster but feel like at 39, I don’t have as many choices as I would have if I were younger. I’ll be testing Jan 4th. Best wishes, baby dust and lots of handholding to everyone on the thread!

Side note! When I first heard they suspected ACD/MPV, I googled hard to try and understand it, including searching Mumsnet, and only found some medical journals. If anyone finds this post because they are in a similar circumstance, the ACD association is amazing and if you reach out to the researchers directly they will talk to you. I wish I knew about them before I lost my daughter because so little was known about it at my hospital. acdassociation.org/
