Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

I'm 11dpo today. Had some brown cm in my underwear yesterday, not as much today so I'm wondering if it could be implantation bleeding? I had some cramps around 9dpo.
Not getting my hopes up though as it's probably AF starting early, due on Wednesday. Although last time my spotting started a bit closer to the day I was due on so I guess we'll see. I'm tempted to test tomorrow but I should probably wait until Wednesday.
Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone on here, let's get some BFPs this month!

Hello! I'm going to catch up on the thread but I'm also TTC for the first time. 1DPO, so at the start of my TWW - AF due on either 24th or 25th. This month me and my coparent tried three times 24 hrs apart (via home insemination rather than DTD) - CD14 / CD15 / CD16. And CD16 had ovulation pain and EWCM. Such a relief to have a lil club here and looking forward to reading where everyone's at

Welcome @lakejupiter a lot of us in this thread seem to be due to test around the same time so hopefully we get alot of good news.

Are you testing ovulation with opks or temp at all or just using an app?

I have been using OPKs - at first I tried the expensive CB tests but I really struggle with them! Had a false static smiley super early in my cycle that freaked me out and then also a false negative on my predicted OV day, not sure if I've got a weird batch of tests but when I look at the actual test window it's always just flooded blue or partly flooded, even though I dip them carefully rather than pee on them. ANYWAY I've been getting on better w the cheap OPKs and seem to have a steady rise for a few days before I get a positive and then it goes blank.

I haven't been doing BBT mostly because I didn't completely understand it but I'm going to start tracking that for next cycle I think.

@lakejupiter exactly the same happened to me with the CB tests and I thought I had a faulty machine! I got a super early static at CD7 the day after I finished AF and my cheapie didn’t match up.

I have opened a new CB machine as u already had one and had already used some sticks so couldn’t return so I am using that but along with cheapies because they seem to be more accurate for me too.

I’ve started tracking BBT this cycle but I’m not the best at it yet still learning as I go.

Thanks @Newbiemg we will just test on the same day and hope for the best. My Ovulation tests were big fat blanks again last night and today.

@SMD16 yea! I have two lines on mine but very faint second lines so clear negatives still too.

I had what I thought was a peak OPK (second line same strength as first - that's usually as strong as it gets for me) on Saturday (CD15), along with EWCM & ovulation pain. But now (CD17) I have an even stronger positive (line actually darker than control) this afternoon so I'm confused about when I ovulated. We inseminated on CD14, 15 & 16 though so I guess it's not the end of the world if I haven't O'd yet (and AF is due on 24th/25th anyway so would still test then if it doesn't arrive)

@lakejupiter hopefully you have still covered it even if you did ovulate on CD17 or CD18 sperm can survive inside the woman for 5 days so still within your window

@Newbiemg absolutely, trying to tell myself that it's a much better scenario than either not ovulating or finding out you'd already ovulated. Please hang in there lil swimmers!
