Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

Day 4 flashing smiley face for me. They start getting on my nerves from now 😂 but my line ones still negative anyway.

@Newbiemg is it just a static smiley you are looking for?

I think I'm definitely ovulating because the pain on my left side is horrendous!

Oh and just gone on my app and it's change my ovu day from Sunday to today!

We have a little calendar going of testing dates. Roughly 2 weeks after our predicted ov day some of us may decide to test early or later or ov may arrive at a different time than predicted but still to test this month….

@SMD16 yeah so with the CB it says that it predicts your 4 most fertile days so you get 2 days flashing and 2 static but that doesn’t work for me because I got 8 days of flashing last cycle and I’m on day 4 flashing this cycle lol

The flashing faces I think just pick up a rise in oestrogen which happens before your LH surge and then the static face picks up your LH surge so it’s the static one I need for peak.

Then also I’m using my line opks too which aren’t positive yet.

I will change your testing date

@Newbiemg @SMD16 clear blue was strange for me!
Last month (Dec) I had 3 days flashy then static
This month testing from CD8 I had all O until a static smiley on CD14 x

Thank you @Newbiemg guess the long old wait begins now haha! Oh wow lots of flashy days then, maybe you just have a longer period of higher estrogen levels! When was your 1st day of cycle again?

@RMS0209 for me last cycle it was 8 days flashing and then 3 days static starting on CD13 so we will see!

@SMD16 I’m abit confused of what CD I am lol because my period I had some days of spotting and then some days of light pink watery didn’t need to use anything and then a couple days of full flow and then spotting again so I wasn’t 100% sure which day to log as CD1. I originally logged it from first day of spotting but now I’ve changed it to first day of full flow.

So if I go by that I’m CD10 and my app is predicting ovulation on Monday CD13 which makes sense because I got my peak on CD13 last cycle but I have a feeling it’s going to be later than that as I have no other symptoms…

@SMD16 @RMS0209 yes I will just keep testing and keep an eye out for other symptoms.

How is everyone else doing?

@Newbiemg bar all that I'm good, not feeling very hopeful for this month think I should have tried a few days before but know for next month. Still trying to be optimistic though! And to resist the urge to test early.
Hopefully being the weekend time goes a bit quicker. How you doing?

I’m trying really hard to do a 4 hours hold. I’ve drank too much tea today I think and I feel like I’m going to burst 😂

@Newbiemg this is why I wish you could do them in the morning it's the perfect 8 hour hold 😂

@Newbiemg try tomorrow to limit your tea intake in the morning, that's the only way I could do it!

Does anyone have photos of their line progression in opks? I know everyone is different but I’m interested to see how your opks looked from around CD8-10 until you got your peak. I have a feeling Im going to ovulate late…

Also when did you notice your cervical mucus how soon before peak? I have like none. I’m taking EPO to increase my EWCM but I usually have some form of CM like abit wet or creamy and I have like zero at the moment…
