Wow that last bus was an amazing bumper BFP filled bus where we were all crying and screaming for joy as lots of our lovely passengers got their BFPs…🙌🏻we are having an ADVENT CALENDAR of a BFP each day! 🥰❤️

There’s still some ppl lingering on this bus so that’s it, I’m calling time, all the rest of you are due off this bus with your 2 lines please 🤞🏻

This is the bus where we’ve got lots of things going on, bumps, rainbows 🌈, ivf, and now lots more miracle BFPs before ivf! Maybe we should issue passengers with an ivf referral on your way in too to help spur those eggs & sperm into action!

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

I'm not CD 3, my AF showed up 2 days early 🙄 which means according to my app it would have meant I ovulated earlier than it was first predicting? My EWCM made me think it had happened later though which would give me a short LT 🤷🏻‍♀️
Safe to say I am confused and considering using ovulation tests.

It was not ideal @Franklydear and left me feeling a bit shaky so I had to stop but it's a good job done & seeing as it was pissing it down we didn't want to go outside 😂and he did some good work too along with trashing his room. It's amazing what you find in a wardrobe...these aren't from this pregnancy 😩

I dont know if its just in Scotland or if England have changed to similar rules too but thought I'd pass it on incase anyone thinking of IVF didn't know. They've now changed the rules to IVF is postponed until after you've had your covid vaccinations

@DKDK123 omg that's awful 🥺 first they said it was a choice but was advised and now they're taking away peoples basic human rights of having decisions about their bodies and sacking them if they don't have it !

@lucyrp agree that's awful. @DKDK123 i think it's just Scotland for now. But I have read on some ivf pages that some clinics are asking for it in England. Which is outrageous. If nhs funded then I suppose they can blackmail you but if paying privately I don't actually see how they can insist on that? I'm just thankful it didn't apply to me.

The bit that stood out to me in that article @DKDK123 wasn't necessarily the vaccination bit but the bit where she said she hadn't been able to speak to anyone about the vaccines & whether to have them...surely she could talk to the clinic at any point & they would have advised of the guidelines at any point...this isn't new stuff now the vaccines have been around a year now & each time we did it last year & 20 I spoke to the ivf nurses & consultant at each point & they pointed me in the direction of the latest guidelines. I'm not sure why she couldn't do that? That's all the clinics could actually do last year. Offer up the latest research for ppl to make their minds up (I appreciate the issue is now the choice thing).

Although how is it different from making you have rubella vaccinations done before you're allowed IVF? @lucyrp @DKDK123

@Juno231 the rubella vaccine is fully licensed and trialled. The covid one is not, yet? Also- they recommend the rubella one (and test to check) but I'm not actually sure they would force you to have it, if you chose not to?

DH just pissed me off. Why are men such knobs? I have some posh farm shop sausage rolls that you cook from frozen (or defrost first). I cooked 3 because I was hungry and didn't want a sandwich, he said he wanted some too, i did 6, and I just wanted something to nibble at. I ate 2 straight from the oven. He came down (before I finished the 2nd) and went into the kitchen and got his. Tried to give me the 3rd one. I said no I'm OK at the moment. Off he went. I then went in the kitchen to get it half an hour later, when I decided I was still hungry. I'm sure you can guess what he'd done! 🤬 I was like- where is my fu**ing sausage roll?! He said I've eaten it because you didn't want it. I was like- at that second I didn't! But don't check and ask or anything. Yeah don't mind me...... 😡😡😡

@juno231 I'm all for the jags, Ive had alline while pregnant, I just think if they're going to make it mandetory there should be a time frame ie in 6months time anyone without the jag we can't do IVF for, that way it gives people time to know where they stand. It's not like they can quickly go get it so as not to postpone their IVF as they need to wait 3 months between jags. It must be soul destroying to think you're about to start only to be met with yet another barrier pushing your timeframe back even longer on an already frustrating journey. 😕

@DKDK123 agree! And some of those women will be over 40 and running out of time. I read they would give them grace with the age cut off period, so they didn't lose out completely. But at the end of the day, if you are are over 40 you don't want to be wasting precious egg quality by delaying any more than necessary!

Another thing I thought of re rubella is that rubella is really dangerous to unborn babies. Covid actually in children has never appeared to be an issue. So forcing it before pregnancy is not for the babies sake, like rubella is........

@DKDK123 Do you know if the COVID jab rule applies to men too or just women? It didn't seem to say in the article and I've had all mine but DH won't have it 😩

I've no idea @polkadotpixie the first I heard of the rule was when I read that article so thought I'd best pass it on incase anyone about to embark on IVF didn't know. I'd presume it was only women with them trying to reduce the number of pregnant ladies in ICU due to covid but best phone your clinic to double check.

@polkadotpixie are you Scotland? I suspect its both, as its a blackmail tactic. England you might be ok. Although I'm not sure how long for! Sometimes you can find other people on fb groups or forums that are using your clinic, and you can see what they've been told?

@paintfairy I'm in England, in the East Midlands so hopefully they won't bring it in here since England's rules are generally a bit more relaxed than Scotland's 🤞

@DKDK123 We've not actually signed up with a clinic yet but are looking too if the next 2 cycles are unsuccessful. There's no way DH will have it so I'll just have to hope it only applies to women or they don't bring it in in England

I'm currently on CD12, DTD last night and will again every other day until ovulation if DH is up to it. He complained I put too much pressure on him to perform but it's not like I can control ovulation! I suggested a pot and syringe but he wasn't keen 🤣

@polkadotpixie doh. Of course you are. I've seen on fb one of those clinics you are considering is insisting on vaccines (no idea about men though) now. The other as far as I know, isn't.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly @Somatronic - pleased you're coming out of it and great that you have a plan for funding IVF. 😂😂😂 at the schedule!

Annoying @LoveQ i would definitely recommend temping or doing ovulation sticks though, helps peace of mind.

I don't like that either @DKDK123 - I'm pro vaccines and believe they're safe but firmly of the view that public health doesn't trump peoples bodily autonomy - it's a slippery slope I think.

Also overly emotional here @Minster2012 - DS not enjoying being left at nursery after the Xmas break so often finding myself a mess driving home from the drop off (he loves it when he's there!)

I couldn't have coped with mine for another week @Franklydear - it was too messy!

@LoveQ I also recommend both temping and OPKs, it was the only way I knew which cycles I ovulated on and which I hadn't and I wasn't as strict as you should be temping but it still worked to show OV

Can I be really dim and ask how you go about temping? @Minster2012 @larrythelizard
