Wow that last bus was an amazing bumper BFP filled bus where we were all crying and screaming for joy as lots of our lovely passengers got their BFPs…🙌🏻we are having an ADVENT CALENDAR of a BFP each day! 🥰❤️

There’s still some ppl lingering on this bus so that’s it, I’m calling time, all the rest of you are due off this bus with your 2 lines please 🤞🏻

This is the bus where we’ve got lots of things going on, bumps, rainbows 🌈, ivf, and now lots more miracle BFPs before ivf! Maybe we should issue passengers with an ivf referral on your way in too to help spur those eggs & sperm into action!

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

@user1019273703 ahhh I'm sorry to hear that about both 😬😬I used easy at home ones and Femometer, I preferred the easy at home ones then inputting them into premom. I've got some clear blue advanced sticks & a new holder I'm happy to send onto anyone, I can check how many sticks later it might only do one cycle but might give a good easier idea on OV then can use cheapies

@Minster2012 👏😀 that's more like it! I'm trying to break some bad Christmas habits of surviving on mainly chocolate and bread!

@Juno231 did you live in the south of France? The galettes du roi from the north look quite different - more like a puff pastry tart with a frangipane filling, i love them! also has the feve/figurine in them (and you get the youngest to hide under the table when cutting and distributing the galette).

@user1019273703 I used one step and just got them off ebay. I did try the posh clearblue purple ones one month but that tallied up with the cheap ones so I never bothered again.
Are yours the purple ones? @Minster2012 I think I've some sticks left (no idea if in date though) which I also would be happy to send on if they are still OK.

@user1019273703 omg double whammy of AF and BV! Jealous of your bath though, I only have a shitty shower. I liked the femometer cheapies. I found the premom ones I often see on MN way too sensitive and therefore always coming up with quite strong lines that are misleading imo.

I’m also trying to break all of the bad Christmas habits, and doing well at school with homemade veg soups and salads… but we still have chocolate left over from Christmas at home. I can’t eat well with that looking at me!

I’m in the boring, early bit of the TTW I think. Nothing much happening.

@BellatrixK I am doing the same, eat healthy at work and all the crap at home, we still have lots, like a month worth, we must be similar in cycle, I expect af around the 20th

Hmm I know but there's something inside you that has that hope because you've carried on, I have still have faith for you, you just never know what's going to happen, and we're all here behind you! Had another early scan yesterday at 9+6, and my mum came with us too, everything growing and measuring how it should be with a lovely strong heartbeat again, and it actually looks like a real life baby now, it's still overwhelming and feels so surreal!!

I'm also attempting to wean myself off the Christmas snacks but still have so much stuff in the cupboards that needs eating!! However I have been really fancying loads of fresh juicy fruit recently so that's what I've been snacking on!!

Hi all. Sorry I went awol for three or so weeks. I haven't been on mumsnet so I missed your tags @Minster2012

Had a busy week before Christmas with our house renovation disasters and then DH got Covid on the 23rd December and I had to go into isolation, and then I got Covid nearly a week later and have been in a fog of sickness and fatigue until the last few days. DH was quite sick, I wasn't as bad but the fatigue is still bothering me.

It was a pity as we'd both taken two and a half weeks' holidays and were really looking forward to the Christmas break.

I basically ignored all my problems including TTC until this week. I've managed to source funding for my IVF - my parents will give me a loan with good terms and my health insurance refund €2.5k which would be the first time that fecking insurance has been worth my while!

I have a remote appointment with the clinic on the 26th. I've even trying to get my investigations from the public hospital I've even attending for 6 weeks with no luck. Now they've had another cyber attack so that's the latest problem.

DH is leaping into action now, demanding that we have sex every second day "to save ourselves a few grand". I guess he really doesn't wanna do IVF. We have hardly DTD in the last 2 months between stress, being separated and being sick.

I hope everyone is well. I was half expecting the remaining TTC people to all have got BFPs in my absence, which happened the last time I left for a few weeks! Oh well. Hopefully we all will soon.

Diet starts Monday. Have been eating all around me for 3 weeks! There was nothing else to do!

@Somatronic no one WANTS to do IVF. But men seem to see it as some kind of failure. DH certainly did and he was hard work. You have to just keep pushing forwards slowly and not make a big fuss. Until its all done and they don't realise what happened. 🤣 Until you see 2 lines on a test, and they then equally seem bemused about it. 🤦‍♀️😁

@Somatronic that's some heavy stuff you've had going on there, are you both other the covid? It's great he's now on it so to speak. Like @paintfairy says a few of us found then men in denial over ivf but you gotta keep plugging away behind the scenes & just tell them what their bit is & they usually comply. It's great you've got the funding too!! Whoop whoop! I'm going to send you a pm so look out for it

Haha @paintfairy thanks for the advice! He doesn't have a clue what he's at. I think AF is starting today and when I mentioned that to him last night when he was insisting we stick to his "schedule" it didn't compute with him. Fertile week etc obviously means nothing to him even at this stage of TTC.

Thanks @Minster2012 still a few lingering Covid symptoms, mainly fatigue but hopefully we'll be back to normal soon.

Funny story I think I forgot to mention. Last month I went to visit my house during the renovation. I noticed a piece of paper sticking out from under the sheet that they had covered the fridge with. It had clearly been read and hastily stuck back onto the fridge by someone. It was of course the very explicit sex schedule handwritten for me by the fertility clinic. Monday: sex at 6am, Tuesday: sex at 8pm ... that kind of thing. I was absolutely mortified. I forgot to take it off in the chaos of moving out. DH thought it was hilarious. I kept out of the builders' way after that. Bet they had a great laugh at us 😳

How is everyone else?

I’ve had the house to myself today (can’t remember the last time that happened!). Normally it is me at work/or socialising. DH is wfh and his friends always invite me out too, whereas mine like girly nights every now and again. DH has gone on a pub crawl and I’m loving life home alone. Lots of dog walking, cuddles on the sofa with the pup and eating up the Christmas snacks!

@Somatronic have you shown your dp any graphs? I have shown mine the fertility graphs and that’s Really appealed his data-fied brain. And thanks @paintfairy for that great advice. It backs up my plan as last week dp was away and I got lots of tests done!

@Somatronic with that note, you don’t know how many of the builders have been through their own TTC journey. It might have been simultaneously hilarious and comforting for other people to see.

@BellatrixK sounds like a lovely day yesterday, my DH was away too, Friday night, yesterday & last night, I enjoy my evenings but the days are tough especially atm as not feeling great. I decided to try do a bit of house sorting stuff and ended up emptying most of my wardrobe drawers onto the floor & moving stuff round ...one of those jobs you kinda regret starting 😂
