@Kay00 so sorry you aren't feeling great. Thinking of you and sending you a huge hug. It doesn't get any easier seeing friends etc announcing new. On a small positive, are you doing anything nice with your mum and sister in London? Hopefully your ovulation will won't be then and you can have a lovely time.

@missC07 yes, we're staying in a fancy hotel Mayfair and going to Harry Potter World and the Aquarium 😁😁😁 (my 10yr old niece is going too), I'm super excited. It'll be annoying if I miss a few days around ovulation, but I need to try and enjoy my life all the same!

@Kay00 ah you'll have such a lovely time!! All the christmas light should be switched on by then too so it'll feel really christmassy!! Hope you have a lovely time, and ovulation plays ball!

@Kay00 I'm sorry! That was a really long LP in the end wasn't it? Will you do another medicated cycle now? I'm on revised CD4 so just doing the old waiting game again. I'll finish my big jar of EPO this cycle and am not getting another one as there's no point - feels symbolic somehow!

Got MIL and all of husband's siblings and partners coming over today, send help 😅

@Kay00 sorry you had such a rough few days. Is ovulation still tracking for your weekend away or will you be ok? I had this last month and was playing with delaying my medication and everything to get in with a chance but as you say have to live your life too!!

@Juno231 CD4 here too. I feel like we’ve been cycle twins for the last year, always seem to be tracking the same time as you. Hope your busy day goes well and you enjoy having all the family over.

Shortest lightest one day period ever here so safe to say my new medication probably isn’t working wonders with my lining 🙈 booked in for CD14 monitoring so at least will get an idea what’s happening. Usually take my trigger CD13 but will hold off until after the app. Not ideal timing but my current RE only does monitoring scans two days of the week (not ideal)! Was unmonitored last month so anxious to see what’s happening there this month. Here we go 6th TSI….

I'm on CD2 and have started taking 25mg of Clomid again. My ovulation will be the Friday 26th/Saturday 27th (if my ovaries play ball) and I will get a chance to DTD on Friday afternoon before I travel to my mums. So hopefully it won't be a wasted cycle.

@juno231 how did it go today with the in-laws?

Also... tip of the day: Do not take Metformin whilst drinking wine... I was very violently sick 🤮😵

So after the high temps cd8-9, it dropped again so probably minor infection. But now cd14 it's shot back up again . Wtf are you up to, body?!

@Kay00 oh no!! Hope you are feeling better now, thanks for the tip. I still haven't started taking my Metformin yet, I will do at the start of my next cycle!

@TheDaydreamBelievers oh wow! Don't you just love it when our bodies don't do the 'normal' - hope you get answers in the next few days. I'm 11dpo today and full expecting AF to start in the next few days, I keep crying at anything and everything!

@TheDaydreamBelievers no chance it's a normal ovulation is it?!

@Kay00 oh no is that a Metformin thing?? Got my fingers crossed for your... Third? Clomid cycle 🤞. It went okay with the in laws - tbh the biggest nuisance when MIL visits is that OH gets very snappy and irritable 😅

I just had that annual realisation that if we don't get pregnant in the first three months of the new year then there won't be a baby in 2022 either 😭

@Juno231 I remember you saying that last year and it shocking me... still does!

@TheDaydreamBelievers why are our bodies always upto wierd things.

I'm a hormonal hot mess, cried earlier for no reason other than I was stirring cheese sauce (gotta have cauli cheese with a roast) I've decided I'm not going to buy any CB digital I'm 5+1 today and if it didn't show a 3+ in the next few days it would send me into a spin so I'm saving myself from the madness lol

@juno231 never say never I guess... but I would be extremely shocked!

@thedaydreambelievers that would be pretty awesome if you have! Have you been DTD regularly just in case?

@chinchilly aww, sorry your cheese sauce made you cry 😢 😘 hehe. I think not buying a digi is very sensible!! Stay away from the tests and just enjoy the next few weeks xx

@juno231 yes, third time lucky 🤞🤞🤞 I think I'm going to take 25mg for the first three days then up it to 37mg for the last two days, just for a teeny extra boost.

@missC07 yes, im fine now. I can only assume it was the effect of taking Metformin at the same time as drinking wine 😆 beacuse I have been drinking the odd glass of wine for months (with Metformin in my system) and it hasn't been an issue at all! Lesson learned! By the way I started my Metformin mission cycle and it wasn't an issue x

@Kay00 ok phew I'm a) glad you're ok and b) glad I will still be able to have the odd glass of wine! I just used the 'start of my cycle' as an excuse as I'm still too much of a scaredy cat to start taking it, which I know is ridiculous. I'm 11dpo today and my back is starting to hurt and I've cried and almost anything today so safe to say AF will be here soon!!

@Kay00 just by sheer luck yes, great coverage. I'm 10000% sure it isn't going to be ovulation though. Maybe body giving LH a go

@MissC07 hopefully your tears are caused by excessive progesterone from the start of something exciting, rather than the end of your LP xx

@MissC07 a few days before my BFP I cried because my OH sent me a pic of our dog and he looked so cute it made me cry 🤣 so as @Kay00 says you never know lol

@ChinChilly crying when stirring cheese sauce 🤣 that's a new one for me! I'm glad you've made it to week 5! One of my friends hot pregnant last cycle but has no clue about live progression or anything like that. She took a digi a week after her first one said 2-3 weeks and it still said 2-3 weeks. I was panicking thinking oh shit this could be bad news whereas she was just happy it still said she was pregnant 😅. Well she had her early scan last week and all is fine so far! Just a reminder I guess to not overthink the tests too much.

Got my trial embryo transfer on Wednesday - only exciting thing going on TTC wise for me atm! Otherwise CD6 with @Gracie2021 😁

@Juno231 I know the cheese sauce crying was excessive. I would love to be blissfully unaware like that my friend is exactly the same, toke one test, knew nothing about line progression and she's got 5 kids!

CD32 and no AF or ovulation yet!!!! I don’t have a clue what is going on! So frustrated now I just want AF to arrive so I can get on with the next cycle

@ChinChilly @Juno231 @Kay00 haha or I could just be an emotional mess 🤣 we only dtd on O-3 so chances are slim to none. I'm just glad my body didn't wait 5 months like last cycle!

Had my first PT session at work today, my legs nearly gave out walking down the stairs at the train station this eve 😂 Hope everyone has had a good Monday!!

Urgh... I'm WFH today and its freezing in the house (OH is quite competitive about how long he can go without putting the heating on in winter - eyeroll!) so I'm wearing a big hoodie, and I have the hood up. Today, no fucks are given.

I nip outside to take the dogs for a wee and bump into my neighbour Creepy Clive (I have mentioned him before, her elderly and going a bit senile, and he's obsessed with the idea of me getting pregnant... its all very odd and he often makes inappropriate comments... largely about him getting me pregnant). Great. He asks why I'm wearing my hoodie, and I explain that I'm freezing, then he gets all excited... he's looking at my belly. He says 'you're not'? I assure him I'm just cold, but he's getting more and more excited until I snap 'I'm not pregnant Clive'! Jeeeez I didn't need this today.

@Kay00 omg he sounds awful. So sorry you have to put up with that. Do you cross paths with him often?

@Gracie2021 He's well meaning, but gets a bit confused about what it is acceptable to say to people. He's a neighbour and everyone on our little street is super friendly, everyone stops to chat etc, so I bump into him a few times a week. I would actually love to be able to tell him I'm pregnant lol, it just hurt that he got so excited, and I had to shut him down
