So sorry you had such a tough thing said @WhirlingD but your attitude is amazing and I’m so glad you have your wedding to look forward to and enjoy and fingers crossed your donor IVF journey can start soon too. Sending hugs xxxx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 10/11/2021 08:28

Still 36.71. Maybe I'm ill and haven't realised? 🤔

Juno231 · 10/11/2021 08:38

@TheDaydreamBelievers maybe a low key infection working in the background?

@WhirlingD I agree with @Gracie2021 - you are doing amazing and have such a great attitude towards this!

I'm tempted to relabel my AF start to today instead of Monday. Yesterday was def just spotting and Monday borderline spotting/light but today is def full flow. I'd normally try not to overthink think this part but now it's affecting my IVF plans for Jan and I'm hoping today is the real CD1! FWIW my temp dropped below the cover line today.

ChinChilly · 10/11/2021 08:44

@WhirlingD ouch, that is blunt... sometimes I think I prefer blunt though atleast I know where I stand then.

@TheDaydreamBelievers agree... could be a little bit of an infection/bug going on in the background

@Juno231 I'd mark today as CD1 especially if it's going to effect your IVF cycle, January is going to come round so quick.. I'm so excited for you 😬

I got a little bit of a dye stealer this morning, still testing like a mad women but I've only got one left now... going to get some digitals then that's it no more testing. I know it really doesn't mean anything but I can't help myself.

Kay00 · 10/11/2021 09:43

@Juno231 I would 100% put today as CD1.

@chinchilly I'm super excited for your dye stealer Grin an no one is blaming you for testing constantly... I would too!

I'm CD 15 and still no sign of AF yet (I usually spot for a couple of days) :/ I had a look at FF charts similar to mine that had Clomid and Metformin and quite a few of them had long LP's, so I assume it is a side effect of the meds, rather than me being pregnant. I have re-checked by FRER from CD13 and it was definitely stark white. I'm getting a few pinching feelings which I assume will be the start of some period cramps.

Kay00 · 10/11/2021 09:44

Troll chart for fun.

ChinChilly · 10/11/2021 09:47

@Kay00 it was only a tiny dye stealer, just a smidge darker than the control line but I'm still taking it 🤣 ahh your chart looks so good aswell how frustrating.

Juno231 · 10/11/2021 09:47

@Kay00 it's madness how much our cycles can still mess with us this far into TTC

@ChinChilly fantastic news! Love a dye stealer 🎉.

Agreed ladies, I think I'll put today down as CD1, if only to pretend Jan IVF is gonna happen 😅. Atm I'm predicted AF on 3rd Jan which works perfect as I can tell call the clinic the next day (Ie there's no Bank holidays interfering) to get started.

Kay00 · 10/11/2021 10:00

Randomly. When I spoke to the nurse from the fertility clinic, who gave me my progesterone results and told me I didn't need to get any more scan etc. She said to take a pregnancy test on CD42... I said "CD42?!" and she said "yes". How odd!? I wonder why, as she knows I ovulated around CD15. Just a little something that has been bothering me...!

MissC07 · 10/11/2021 10:01

@Juno231 exciting about your IVF! January will come flying round!

@Kay00 fingers crossed it's not a troll chart. But we're all so used to them by now 😩

Talking of which, mine is being completely wierd, so not sure what's going on! It's even still dotted because it probably knows after my last 159 day cycle that it's about to troll me again 🤣

Gracie2021 · 10/11/2021 10:02

@Juno231 if it helps I needed to adjust by a day when I was away traveling to be back with a chance of coverage and my doctor okayed me to move my Letrozole from day two to day three to try delay ovulation. And on this cycle started period after 6pm last night but always flag CD1 as the next day if it’s after 6pm which is in line with IVF clinic guidance. I’d Defo mark it as whatever makes sense to you. January is going to come so fast. Thrilled for you.

@Kay00 my LP went to 14 days on Letrozole and this month it was 15 days on the Tamoxifen. I also stopped temping when we went into medicated cycles as it messed with my head so much but I know everyone is different and the temps give so much info on what’s happening.

Booked in for my monitoring scan this morning now that it’s CD1 and I know my days. Had been hoping I could just get an ultrasound when I was in with the second IVF clinic for our initial consult but the days aren’t lining up so have to manage work for the two days. Oh well. Practice for juggling what’s ahead.

@TheDaydreamBelievers the thermometer isn’t broken is it? Just the fact that it’s such a difference…..

@ChinChilly if 100% be there same and thrilled for your dye stealer. Hope it’s giving you some reassurance too.

Gracie2021 · 10/11/2021 10:03

@MissC07 a beautiful rise though 🤞

@Kay00 could be something as simple as her mixing your chart up with someone else’s?

Kay00 · 10/11/2021 10:14

@Gracie2021 Good point. Or maybe she meant CD32? And, interesting that the meds have lengthened our LP's, must be a good thing Smile

@MissC07 That's looking like a solid ovulation on CD25! Well done!

ChinChilly · 10/11/2021 10:19

@Kay00 Cd42?!?! How random

@Gracie2021 it is nice to have a strong line but at the the same time my lines were so strong last time, possibly stronger and the outcome was still shite, so while it's nice to see I'm still hyper-aware that things could still go down the same path. I think if the dates add up at the reassurance scan then I'll feel better because the scan we had last time when I should of been 8 weeks but baby only measured 6+4 was the first red flag really but we were distracted with seeing a heartbeat.

Juno231 · 10/11/2021 10:22

@MissC07 that certainly looks like a temp shift! Good dip on 5dpo as well

@Gracie2021 yeah the problem is if cd1 is 1st of Jan then the earliest they can see me is cd4 and that's too late to start meds. May have worked if I had down regged but this will be short protocol. Bummer about your double scan whammy in one week - I'm starting to worry about how that will pan out for me when doing 4-5 scans plus impromptu egg retrieval time off and then embryo transfer five days later 😬😬

Juno231 · 10/11/2021 10:23

@Kay00 cd42 sounds super random! I think she was talking poppycock

@ChinChilly when is the reassurance scan again?

ChinChilly · 10/11/2021 10:32

@Juno231 it's not booked in yet, I've got a telephone consultation at tommys on the 24th she said they'll then book me in for a scan between 7-8 weeks. I'll be 6+4 on the 24th so I'm guessing it will the first week of December maybe?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 10/11/2021 11:57

@Gracie2021 definitely worth a check but I've just tested it vs our fancy 2 decimal place meat thermometer and they agree!

Gracie2021 · 11/11/2021 09:15

@TheDaydreamBelievers such a mystery so. Sorry no wisdom for you but here for the rants/support/whatever you need!

@ChinChilly so sorry you’re stuck with the anxiety and it just being a waiting game. I really hope that the time to your scan goes as quickly as it can for you and will be keeping all fingers and toes crossed that it continues smoothly for you from there x

@Juno231 great to be starting the new year with a bang but I getcha about how close to the holidays it is. There’s hoping the timing all lines up for you. We could have started in January actually but work is terrible that time of year and it’s not worth the stress hence pushing to February. But Even though I made that choice I’m still a bit bitter about waiting. When you’ve been waiting so long to get to this point every month lost just feels rotten so I get where you’re coming from! Fingers crossed all lines up and you’re good to go on the 4th. About the days off etc….. I’ve been trying to come up with a suitable procedure for myself that would account for the every second day scans followed by two days off for the retrieval and I got nothing…. If you think of anything creative I’m all ears.

ChinChilly · 11/11/2021 10:56

@Gracie2021 thank you, I feel like time is dragging at the moment..typical 🤣

Had my second jab this morning, I was abit apprehensive about having while being pregnant especially with my history but I guessed it was the right thing to do so I just went for it

Kay00 · 11/11/2021 13:49

@chinchilly Hugs xx hopefully you have no side effects from your second jab xx

I had a bit of a breakdown today Sad. I'm usually so bloody stoic and upbeat. But I feel like I'm starting to grieve for the child I have never conceived. This process is getting harder and harder.

The trigger was seeing another FB post by my pregnant friend (its her 2nd baby) with a picture of the scan and her commenting about how she is dreaming of the baby's future. Obviously its very sweet, but I feel so completely gutted. I can't stop crying. Urgh!

ChinChilly · 11/11/2021 13:56

@Kay00 ok so far! Eurgh I'm so sorry, this TTC stuff is such a hard slog and it's so frustrating its so easy for some people and difficult for others. I think you have to have a good cry sometimes but I'm certain you will get your BFP soon and it will be soo worth the wait when it happens xx

Kay00 · 11/11/2021 18:15

Thank you @chinchilly xx

Gracie2021 · 11/11/2021 19:32

So sorry it hit you today @Kay00. You’re so good for lifting up everyone else on here and supporting others through the bad day, hope you know we’re here for you. It’s a complete rollercoaster and one day you’re fine, the next it hits hard. Possible to take a step back from social media or even mute that friend for now? Nothing wrong with some self preservation and pulling back where needed to protect yourself. Sending all the virtual hugs xxx

Kay00 · 11/11/2021 20:01

Thank you @gracie2021 I had a tough day in work and I'm a bag of hormones today which hasn't helped. I'm feeling a bit better after eating my body weight in chocolate 🍫 😆

I'm starting to get annoyed that I haven't started bleeding yet. I'm at the end of 16DPO, getting cramps and my temp plummeted this morning... but no blood, and my cervix is still high and soft 🧐 But if tomorrow isn't CD1 then my ovulation is going to be bang in the middle of my trip to London with my mum and sis in a couple of weekends time... and that'll mean no BD, and no temping 😬😬😬 I'm worried ill miss out next month 😢
