Sorry to anyone I have missed off.

Hi ladies, how is everyone?

I'm CD17 and haven't ovulated yet. If I ovulate, this will be the latest ovulation on Clomid so far. My ovaries were very very sore a few days ago, usually around ovulation I get little shooting pains/popping sensation, but this time they just felt large and swollen... so I'm not sure what that means. I'm patiently waiting for a temp increase, but if it doesn't happen tomorrow then I'll assume it was a failed ovulation attempt.

I'm currently on holiday in Wales, and we have been letting my black girl off lead for the first time... she has loved it!

I just wanted to let you know that my mum passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at the weekend. So I will be taking a complete step away from anything TTC related as I just don't even know how I'll keep myself and my dad going.

I wish you all the best on your journeys but sadly it's the end of the road for me 🤍

@ChinChilly @Juno231 that's so lovely to hear you're having girls. I feel like time has passed so quickly. I can't believe how far gone you born are.

I had my hysterocopy 2 weeks ago and going to be downregulating soon before a FET. My adenomyosis has been diagnosed so I will have a longer downregulation to suppress it before the FET

@Tillybabs Thank you, it is going so quick had my 20 week scan today and tbh it was an absolute miserable experience.. sonographer was an arsehole, never said a word to us the entire time and I've got to go back in 2 weeks for another attempt.

@ChinChilly you're joking. People can be so weird!

@Tillybabs Ikr, he didn't talk me through any of the measurements or what he was doing just threw a piece of paper at me with them on and said come back in two weeks because he couldn't see the side profile, these measurements he's given me don't look right either like her belly is off the chart huge and her legs are off the chart small. At the end of the scan I had to ask if everything was ok and he just said 'yes' and told me to go back to the waiting room 🙄 now I'm feeling a slight sense of panic about these wierd measurements

@MissC07 I'm so so sorry for you loss xx please be with your family, and I think stepping away from TTC is very sensible xx

@ChinChilly how rude! I think they were clearly having a bad day, but there was absolutely no need to take it out on you! I'm sure you baby is measuring fine, clearly they were not concentrating and they have made an error. Good thing you are going back in two weeks x

Pre op today 😬 for my lap & dye any last minute tips or things I should be asking?

Me again (sorry!) I've got some questions pulled together as apparently they will discuss findings with me when in recovery ward. Am I missing any?

Were your ovaries and fallopian tubes healthy?
Did you have an ovarian endometrioma - if so how big?
Did you have many adhesions?
Was there any bowel or bladder involvement?
What stage is the endometriosis if there was any?
What are the results of any biopsies?
Were any nerves cut to relieve your pain?
Was your appendix removed routinely?
What further treatment is recommended?.

So, highlights are my left side is fcuked, endo found in my pelvis, left ovary was stuck to my bowel and a fibroid at the top of my uterus. Feeling a little bit sorry for myself today.

@mrsmacmc sorry that we didn't see this yesterday and so couldn't be there for you. I'm so sorry that was the outcome. Did they speak yet about what the projected complications are in terms of fertility and also next steps 💗

@TheDaydreamBelievers I've to await an outpatient appt to discuss things. Was totally out of it when the surgeon came to see me post op. Had to call 111 today as belly button incision had opened up. A district nurse came out and checked it / redressed it. Feeling absolutely guff today as trying to process things mentally and still bloated even though the CO2 gas has been shifting. 💕❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

@mrsmacmac oh my gosh! How dramatic 😵 no doubt you are feeling gruff. Are you home now? I hope you're getting lots of care from your OH. How are you feeling about the results? How long until your outpatient appointment?

No news here... CD1 and I tested positive for Covid 🤒🤧😷

@Kay00 yes I got home at 7 on Thursday night.

He's trying his best, pooch has a broken toe as well so he's looking after both of us.

I've not fully processed what was said as I was still woozy when the surgeon came to speak with me in recovery.

No idea when my outpatient appointment will be, I've called the fertility nurse helpline and left a message on Friday as there is a discrepancy on the letter the hospital gave me to hand into my GP. It mentions clipping which was something I didn't consent too and the day surgery nurse couldn't confirm if they had done that or not as notes weren't clear.

Head is absolutely fried 🤯

Too many questions swirling round in my head and it's not a good place for me to be (lost in my head).

I'm CD16 so should've ovulated or just about to, not that it makes a difference this cycle as BD is the last thing on my mind 😆 the dye from the dye test has stained my backside so I'm part Smurf at the moment!

@mrsmacmc sorry, I've only just seen your message I haven't really been on MN much. I'm sure that's not the news you were expecting and I'm sure it's an awful lot to take in but atleast you can now plan a way forward once you've got your outpatient appointment. What do they mean by clipping? Sorry about the smurf boy... just to top everything off.

@ChinChilly it is, my brain is constantly whirring. Hoping outpatient appt is soon as I need info to calm the whirring 😆

Clipping is when they effectively put a 'clip it' clip on the tube (sterilisation) as apparently for IVF if there is fluid in the tube it can be toxic for any IVF intervention. I ensured I said at my pre op and on day of procedure I didn't consent to this as it was effectively closing off any chance of natural conception.

The surgeon did give me a pearl of information during my on the day chat that NSAID (brufen and naproxen) could cause the ovaries not to release eggs which was a complete newsflash to me considering I was told by another consultant to keep going with brufen & naproxen to manage my pain from mid cycle!

@mrsmacmc I'm not surprised, I'd be the same. Yikes hopefully the clipping thing is just a typo. I didn't know that about the painkillers either.. wonder how many other women don't know abou that.. scary! Atleast your smurf bum is gone 🤭

Well our doggo managed to cut open the little bit of pad behind his dew claw on his walk last night, it's quite nasty and looks like its virtually in half 🤢 not sure how it hasn't been bleeding in the night but we're off to the vets shortly...honestly I'm sure I've got the worlds most accident prone dog!

@ChinChilly awww no! Hope pupper was brave at the vets 🥰

Fertility nurse called me this morning and was able to confirm nothing in my notes about clipping and that my follow up appt will come in the post but there would be a wait for this 🤨

Sometimes I feel all we do is wait wait wait!!

Rubella immunity blood test 🩸 next which is on Wednesday

Feeling a bit yuck today so taking it easy which isn't something I find easy to do 😆

@mrsmacmc I had to leave him there for a GA so they could clean it and stitch him up, he's never been away from either of us before so he wasn't very happy.. broke my heart 😓

Good news about the no clipping! There is so much waiting around for stuff like this... frustrating
