@ChinChilly Thank you! I had a look on their we site, lots of great information. I've definitely been back and forth deciding on going to this scan, I don't know if I'm crazy to go. My GP said I can go if I want but I wouldn't be pregnant as my blood test came back as under 1 on 30th Dec. I started bleeding very heavily on 29th/30th and bled badly for 3 days then into spotting. Stopped bleeding for 4 days and then had a small tinge of pink, then nothing again. My original bfp on 27th and 28th were fairly faint, since then they are all faint but tesco and accutest pink dye have gotten stronger. But it goes between negatives to positives. And i only get the positives on those tests and freedom, that are all 25 miu. Not the super sensitive ones that measure 10miu. Doesnt make sense.
Yesterday's test looked fainter and today again its a bit darker. But in the pit of my stomach i know surely I can't be because between end Dec and now I'd have a stronger line.

My body likes to tell me I am with the extreme low back pain I keep getting but it just doesn't make sense to be...
Hopefully EPU won't think I'm nuts.

@CJB92 I don't think the EPU will think your nuts, every interaction I have had with the my local EPU has been really positive the staff have always being really king and caring. It's odd with the positive tests but negative blood tests but stranger things have happened, hopefully you will get some clarity on Monday.

@chinchilly congratulations on your little wriggler! 😁 I'm also a July baby (Cancerian) and I love having a sunny birthday. My preference would be a summer baby too, but I'd take any time of year now obviously 😆

@Kay00 Hello, thank you very much. Hoping for answers. I've stepped back a little today, to get my head around things and prepare myself for some possible bad news. Everyday is more confusion, but I'm just nervous to go, and I know its because this is the first time I'm ever going for a scan and it's not even a happy moment. That makes me sad. But I need answers either way so I'm going to have to go and hopefully I will know more on Monday. X

@Kay00 the only thing I worry about with a summer baby is me being potentially huge in hot weather 😬

@ChinChilly I am also a summer baby and its great for a BBQ party and also exams being over in time for your birthday :D

My temps are still up and AF a no show... planning to test in a few days time again (who am I kidding, I'm literally taking a cheapie each morning). Not betting on myself but at least it looks like I ovulated and we have a chance?

@thedaydreambelievers how many DPO are you?

I tested negative yesterday at 13dpo and I'm spotting today so expect CD1 to be tomorrow or Monday. So I'm on to my 5th Clomid cycle, and plan to call my consultant next week for a follow up call to discuss next steps.

@ChinChilly hopefully you'll have had the baby before any ridiculously hot weather. One of my best friends had her baby late July a few years ago when we had that heatwave of 38degrees down here in London, the hospital she went to had no air con either 🥵

@Kay00 7 days of higher temps so mayybe 7dpo? Not 100% sure. Quite a bit of cramping so id put money on AF not pregnancy. Im sorry this cycle looks unsuccessful and wishing you all the best for next steps xx

@TheDaydreamBelievers I am still waiting for AF (5 days late) too & using cheap tests each morning I took 2 FRERs just before AF was due though but my BBT is still up too… I don’t know about you but I just need a BFP or AF to finally show up now so we can just start trying again at least

@bluesky57 hmm... is it possible you ovulated later? Do you have a chart you can share?

I'm 15dpo today and spotting has stopped. These super long Clomid fueled Luteal Phases are a killer! 🥴

@Kay00 I think it is possible I ovulated later this month. I only started tracking BBT towards the end of December in preparation for TTC this month so I don’t have much data yet

As I am 5 days late I have been using cheap strips each morning and have had nothing until today I got this sort of line for the first time. I now need to try to get a proper test and people have recommended FRER but they don’t sell them in Tesco/Morrisons and everything else is quite far away from me… I can get some delivered from Amazon tomorrow but really want to check today now!

@BlueSky57 you'll need to use first morning urine anyway so may as well order a FRER but there is a line on the IC so looking like a yes

@TheDaydreamBelievers thanks, I did a follow up with the only test I could get in Tesco & got a BFP a few hours ago

Little update here - suddenly medicated cycles got exciting again. After 7 cycles with only one dominant follicle and a complete bust with a 29mm follicle last month, I have 1 follicle at 17mm and 2 at 14mm this month. Been told to trigger today at CD9 and going to be bold and trigger on Wednesday to give the two smaller ones a better chance. Know there's a bit of a risk involved but have had no luck with one follicle previously so maybe three can do the trick. Can't hurt my odds anyway. This will also move my IVF start date up to 28th Jan so only two and a bit short weeks....

AF showed for me (10dpo)/ Boo. But also means hycosy can go ahead on Wed. Also got the appt through for NHS assisted conception on 10th February. Fingers crossed they remain willing to take the private results!

Hi all, hope it’s okay to join. I was actually on this thread last summer briefly but faded away when my cycles just stopped as I felt I had nothing to add. I see a few names that I recognise from then though and some lovely BFPs so I just want to say congratulations to those who have had happy news!

I came off the pill in Jan 2020, had a couple of reasonable cycles (40ish days) with confirmed occultation, then my cycles became anovulatory, and then in August they stopped all together and I’ve not had a period since then. I get lots of positive OPKs, EWCM and then one BBT spike but then my temp drops and ovulation fails. People keep saying to me ‘oh you’ve not been trying long, try not to worry’ but the thing is, I’m not even having periods so I don’t even feel like I can try.

I have PCOS - was diagnosed a few years ago. I’m supplemented up and only just above healthy bmi - need to lose 9lb and I’ll be back into the healthy zone which I’m currently working on (bloody slowly - thanks pcos). I’m pretty active and eat reasonably well but still find it tricky.

Anyway I saw a gynae last week who immediately suggested metformin at a first step. I’m hoping this at least gets me a period and then I can go from there. I just want to be able to try, does that make sense?

Anyway hoping that I’ll actually have something to report this time round and looking forward to chatting with you all!
