Ahhh a bit frustrating @Vil10 but glad you're getting a referral. I'm not sure about the results but I know that my dh had 0% motility which is what they put him on the tablets for because they said our chances of conceiving with that and my pcos was virtually nil. That seemed to work miracles 🤷🏼‍♀️ Impryl was what led to our magic bfp.

@Vil10 0% morphology is what I meant! Motility and count were both normal

@vil10 if FSH is high it means you're entering premature menopause or have diminished ovarian reserves. Unfortunately you can't do anything to improve it but would either have to get IVF quickly or end up using donor eggs. I seriously doubt that will be something you'll have to worry about!

@Katywatty17 a few of us have had HSG which is basically the same thing but with x-rays instead of an ultrasound scan. Not a fun procedure but allegedly makes you a bit more fertile for the three months following it. Is that rum neat or with coke?

@becarefuloutthere ohh yess I've read about it actually, I feel like I need to be more clued up on all this now! We said we might have a look at going private depending on the nhs wait times, you went private didn't you? I feel like it might be unexplained you know, but OH's low morphology probably isn't helping! Thankyou lovely xx

@Justanothercyster Hmm I'm going to look at supplements for OH, was impryl what they gave you or did you get it yourself? And how long after your DH taking it did you get your BFP?

@Juno231 thanks for that, I've been a bit nervous about having the procedure, I know it's nothing in comparison what a lot of you have been through. The run has a dash of cherry coke in it!

@Justanothercyster yep impryl or proxeed plus are the market leaders for improving those swimmers! 0% to a miracle bfp is impressive! My Dh was at 2.3% and it went up to 4% with all his changes. Still needed ivf tho thanks to my borderline Amh and pesky endo 🙄
@Vil10 I went private for the afc as I just couldn't wait for the nhs any longer even tho it was only a 2 month wait in the end but I wasn't to know at the time. I got my amh on the nhs tho. Defo get him on either impryl or proxeed plus, both are at the pricey end but I feel it made the difference. No problem hun xx

@DKDK123 awww, I really feel for you. Everything you are saying is completely understandable. It would be bizarre if you felt any other way really. Its so hard and no one can say anything to reassure you. But you've got this far! Hang on in there.
@Bundaberg84 I actually read your post reading 'gyn' as 'gym' and it was amusing. I honestly would faint going to the gym so it seemed reasonable too. 🤣🤣🤣

@Katywatty17 spiced rum is one of my favourite drinks! We always have some in the cupboard. 😁 I've had a HSG and it actually was nowhere near as bad as I thought. Don't tense down there and take painkillers before. You get cramps but it's nowhere near as bad as AF ones and it's over very fast.
@Vil10 that's terrible about your grandma. And I very much doubt your fsh will be above 9, don't worry about that.
@2020mission good luck with the house. Stressful times- I hate doing things like that. Its all so unpredictable.

@becarefuloutthere it sounds ridiculous because I am still young but I don't want to be waiting a long time so we are considering going private, it's coming up to 2 years since I came off the pill and in those 2 years so many of my friends and family have had babies and are onto their second, I don't want to be waiting another 12 months plus before being pregnant😫

@paintfairy I know it really upset me! I'm going to see her this morning so hopefully she's okay! Thankyou for all your help and shedding some light on these results!!x

Just had my lh and fsh bloods done, they said they should be available Monday or Tuesday, the reception at the gp doesn't open until 8 so I'm waiting here because I'm going to book a phone app with the doctor on Tuesday to let her know about OH SA and hopefully she can get the referral sorted, and I need to book my smear too, I turn 25 in March and I was 21 when me and OH got together and we always said we'd want to have had at least 1 baby by my 25th birthday, I'd love 2 close in age, and then a 3rd a few years later, but I doubt the 3rd will be happening if it's gonna take this long for each😂

Off to see my grandma after this so hopefully she's okay and not too dazed about it, then off for breakfast with my mum and sister, and having drinks later with a few friends whilst OH and the girls partners go to a gig later, af pain and discomfort has subsided and I cannot wait for a gin!! Cheers to Friday🍷

Oh wow! I got a surprise peak reading this morning, I wasn't expecting it until Sunday or Monday! I was too tired (and maybe too full of white wine) to DTD yesterday and now regret it. But our friend who lives with us is away this morning and I just texted DH, he might just come home from work for half an hour or so lol - I hope it's not too late though, well there goes the SMEP approach.

@Vil10 doesn't sound ridiculous at all. You want a baby when you want one, so age doesn't really matter, it's just lucky that age is on your side. I'd still go through the nhs motions and in the meantime look into private, that's what we did and only ended up needing one thing done privately and then funded was approved before we knew it and my surgery and ivf had begun!
Hope your grandmas ok! Enjoy your day, sounds fab! I'm off to the office, who makes you come in on a Friday 🙄 so annoying. We're not even being treated to lunch either, the outrage 😆

Well I was relaxing in bed last night from about 8pm with hot water bottle to help pain & what a parlava the bloody police turned up at 9pm to check DH's guns/gun cabinet after he did his change of address. 9pm!! They then complained about a number of things and stupid DH said "minsters got a licence too but no guns on it" so that meant I had to get up as well & they then complained I don't have his guns on my licence so I shouldn't be able to transport them (I can that's why so I can pick up the dogs & guns & take home to secure if he's staying out) so now they need to come again. 9pm!!!

Did someone ask about Covid boosters the other day about 6 months, around here you can go to a walk in centre and get a booster after 6 months but not before so it's meant to be 6 months for the booster. I'm going to get mine this morning so hopefully I will be ok!

@Minster2012 I did indeed chase the clinic yesterday - apparently, while they have all our results now, the doctor there hasn't said what treatment plan he wants for us so they can't book an appointment yet. But I should keep waiting because they'll be in touch🙄 I did confirm they'd updated my phone number at least, which they have, so that's something I suppose. I can't believe how late the police turned up?! I guess it was one way to make sure you were home, I suppose

@Juno231 that's amazing what you did! There's many people that would've just left the poor man and hoped that someone else dealt with it

@Vil10 I can't believe those carers left her bleeding on the floor - I know manual handling rules mean they're not allowed to lift her but you'd at least have thought they'd called for medical help to look after her!! I second the others, don't worry about talking through the SA with GPs, they don't usually specialise in fertility medicine so you're better off waiting for the clinic.

@Vil10 ha I'd love three kids too but I'm 34 in a couple of months and looks like I'll need assisted conception each time so it doesn't bode well here either! So is your gp purely testing for lh and FSH? Normally there's a fair bit more on day 2. I had prolactin, estradiol, testosterone, TSH etc. TSH is quite an important one actually!
