I actually didn't really feel that connected to DD, mostly because I didn't actually feel her kick until at least 24 weeks in. Was super weird!

I think we just sort of go into Mother Nature mode and just carry on with our usual routines and block out what's happening. I think if we actually stopped and really considered what was going on 1) we'd freak out and 2) not many babies would be born 😂😂

@newtolineofduty I've heard from so many friends it often doesn't feel real for a while so don't worry and just look after yourself - we are all rooting for you!

Well looks like my weekend is going to be a write off! Think I have either food poisoning or some sort of stomach bug! The stomach cramps are so severe I can only feel comfortable curled up into a ball on my bed! And I'm pretty much living in the bathroom this morning. NOT fun!

I don't even know what it's from! I did cut up raw chicken to marinade last night but I always wash my hands after that but maybe not well enough?! Or I've caught a bug maybe. I haven't eaten anything abnormal so I really don't know!! Manic baby making is defo off the cards. Could not think of anything worse than having sex right now 🤣

@newtolineofduty I actually have no idea. Apps predicting next sun but I have a feeling it will be earlier. I actually detest being ill. I really struggle with not being able to function like a normal human 🤣🤣🤣 I'm sure it will go by then but I normall start the baby making today so there's "good" sperm. We haven't bothered having sex since last fertile time!

@hoola23 I didn't even know that a bloke should make sure he has ejaculated before fertile period to ensure good sperm is about!! I only heard about this last month! Mind you he didn't even realise it was a thing either 😩😂 honestly, men!

On a serious note, I hope you feel better soon chick. It could be the norovirus. Sounds like the right symptoms, and it's going round loads at the moment.

@CShandy01 yeah I mean it could be all crap but it makes sense in my head to use up the poor older sperm on cd 6-9 then I usually start trying properly leading up too ovulation. The month I fell pregnant was the first month we started doing it early so cd 6- could just be coincidental though!

God I feel like I've been hit by a bus! Had all family over for dinner tonight so had to "join in" but I just wanted to curl up. They've just left to go to a show that I should be going to but I just said to DH I just can't cope with that tonight! I think it might be some sort of bug. Temp is up to 38 but I'm freezing. Luckily the nausea has stopped but the stomach cramps are something else!

@CShandy01 wow I never knew that either. Something to think about I suppose.

Oh no @hoola23 you poor thing!!! I definately think there's something in the doing it early/regenerating the sperm thing! This (last) month we did it LOADS more than usual in the lead up and I think that really helped! So we did CD 4,7,9, 11,12 and I think we'd usually only start at day 9 or so!!! X

@newtolineofduty @hoola23 ah well in that case I'm screwed (no pun intended) as our first time was CD12 😂😂 today is CD13 so we are continuing with our fun weekend. It's been really nice not having any pressure of "ovulation GO GO GO". I also haven't got a clue if I'm ovulating, or will be, as my CM seems to have been going on for AGES. Think this is probably due to the pregnacare. Although it's getting a lot more watery in consistency and it's still stretchy, so I'm assuming that's a good sign.

@newtolineofduty maybe it is true then! I'm gonna try and start every other day from tomo if I'm feeling up for it. @CShandy01 I defo don't think you're screwed, it's only one little sperm that makes it so I'm sure you're covered. Just get on the manic baby making babe!!!

Got up this morning OH made breakfast then had his vitamins and drank pomegranate juice. Never thought I would see the day he would take a load of vitamins

How's everyone doing today? What day cycles are we all on? CD14 here. Last day of "fun weekend" so going to try and make it good before the weekend. Felt a bit forced last night because we were both shattered as DD was up a lot in the night. Determined to make tonight a bit more spontaneous....if that even is such a thing when TTC!!!!

@newtolineofduty I clearly missed the memo🤣🤣🤣 watching now whilst doing 1000000 loads of laundry. Winning! 🤣

@CShandy01 hey! But jel you're over fertile week nearly. I'm starting tonight even though clear blue says low I'm just doing it every other day now and Gonna give it my best shot! How you feeling about this month, are we positive for negative vibes!?

@Aims1991 feeling a bit better today, thanks hun. Still got a bit of a temp and a headache but the vomiting is done! X

@CShandy01 hey I'm now CD 8, feeling good for this month and I do not want to build my hopes up. Going to try and DTD either every day or every second day until I get my peak. Going to pay more attention to EWCM this month as I never really think about it

@hoola23 oddly enough I'm super chill about this month. Like it's weird when you genuinely haven't got a clue when you ovulate. I'm thinking it's today as I've had a bit of dull ache lower right and my CM is super stretchy and a lot clearer than it has been (although not super clear). Plus cervix is quite open. So either I ovulate today or tomorrow.

I'm sort of in the frame of mind of what will be will be. I'm not going to prod my cervix once I notice the EWCM stops, and I'm just going to go with the flow. Really focused on losing those extra pounds I put on and getting my fitness back to what it was before my back accident.
