@GemB03 although I had a good night, however there is zero chance of any baby developing! Fuming! DH is with his two brothers in our summer house having a great time after his gig! I'm off to bed spermless this eve. Maybe I'm just destined to be a cat mum 🤣🤣

Morning all. I'm so annoyed with myself I fell asleep mega early last night whilst my OH was picking my mum up from a night out and we didn't manage to DTD! I woke up this morning so annoyed with myself. My app says today is day of OV! So we DTD this morning to hopefully help our chances.

@Aims1991 you'll be fine if you do it sometime today 🙂🙂 it's so hard when you know it's ovulation or it's so close and you just want to maximise your chances. I've never experienced something so frustrating.

@hoola23 hows the hangover this morning?? 😂 Sounds like you had a cracking night out though. I think sometimes we really just need to let our hair down and have a good time during this TTC journey.

Well yesterday it was a bit fat circle on my digital advanced clear blue thing, and then this morning BAM! Static smiley face. I was like WAAAHHHHHHH?!!! So theoretically speaking if I ovulate in 2 days time then that will be CD19, which is 5 days later than a normal cycle (and I started to bleed 5 days after AF was due) so it might be the start of going back to normal.

We're out all day today so we're planning on DTD tonight, tomorrow night and hopefully Tuesday as well. Last time I got pregnant we only DTD 3 times - Friday through to Sunday and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the Sunday. Xx

Oh I also meant to ask....if anyone has used that clear blue purple OPK that tracks 2 hormones - is it normal to go from nothing straight to peak and not have any high days? I've never used this one (only ever used the pink one) so I'm a bit confused. Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing...

@CShandy01 bad 🤣 I rarely drink and this morning is my reason why!!

Yeah I used to get high then peak but recently it's low and then bam peak. Apparently the rise in lh and oestrogen can happen at the same time and it's nothing to worry about. If you're getting ewcm before your peak I wouldn't worry.

I've defo not been successful this month. Going to try and DTD again tonight as I still have ewcm and my cervix feels open still but pretty sure I ovulated yesterday and it will be too late. Chances of any decent sperm hanging out in the tubes is low I think. So annoyed!!!

@CShandy01 I get that with the purple CB! I go from nothing to static in a day.

So this morning I got another peak which I have never ever had for 3 days🤷🏻‍♀️ is this normal

@Aims1991 interesting! Which test do you use? I think the cb ones only ever give you two days but I rarely test after my first peak! Get going ASAP! X

@hoola23 I use easy at home opks and when I get a peak I use cb to see the smiley face🤣

@Aims1991 I've those too. Sometimes I get peak for 3 days on those - it should prob decrease back to high this eve maybe. Defo DTD today if you can too tho x

@hoola23 I've never had it before with them. I got from low to peak to low again 🙈

@Aims1991 maybe you're not testing close enough. I do so many of them so that's prob why 🤣 on the cheapies I get how, high peak, high, low but if you go peak to low I don't think that means anything. Plus all your bloods were good so you know there's no issues with ovulation for you x

I've just got a peak on my opk! Never ovulated so early before, strange! Only CD13. We managed to DTD yesterday so will do tomorrow too. So tempted to go again tonight but the doc warned us to not DTD daily due to sperm quality. Hard not to when you know it's time though 🤣

@GemB03 didn't know doctors would say not to DTD a lot. But great news on your peak

@Aims1991 yeah when we said we DTD everyday around ovulation they said it could actually work against us cus there isn't enough time for good sperm to regenerate or something. So they advised every 2-3 days. But right away I told my OH that 3 days was never happening 🤣 far too long!

It seems counter productive to me but we went for their advice so my OH is now adamant we take it 😩

Month in a while I've not felt confident it'll happen.

@Aims1991 @hoola23 I'm with you guys on the no confidence thing. Got that static smiley this morning, we tried to DTD when DD was in bed, but DH had messed up his insulin injection and had given himself too much, so he actually was totally spaced out and border line hypo during sex, so we never finished and he just fizzled out. He's finally back on planet earth and it's me who can't be arsed now. I was super super excited and really wanting it earlier, now it'll just be a case of ticking off a box and I really don't want that 😔 doesn't help that I don't know when I'll ovulate - could be this evening, tomorrow, Tuesday...haven't a bloody clue!

@CShandy01 I hate it when it feels like that. I've forced myself to have sex so many times and it always feels rubbish. Forget today and try and get in there tomo hun

Yeah I'm very negative right now. I had really bigged up this month as the one but with an early ovulation it's thrown me. Only good thing is that my cycle is shorter this month so I'll learn of my failure 3 days earlier 🤣

@hoola23 bless chick. Honestly it's such a shit time TTC after a while. There are such highs and lows - sometimes I'm so positive and just very down to earth, and then other times I'm just like what's the bloody point?! And I want to throw in the towel.

Think DH was feeling very very guilty about what happened yesterday, so we did actually end up DTD but it was in no shape or form a ticking off box situation. Was like back in the old days when we weren't married and had all the time in the world 🙂🙂

Trouble is DD had a shit nights sleep so I can guarantee that we won't DTD tonight. I wish these OPK's could literally tell you when you are ovulating 😂 like the precise day etc! Xxx

@CShandy01 aww that's so lovely ☺️ it's great when sex is like that. Feels very infrequent for us now but it's so important for the relationship, isn't it. I am thinking the same about the OPKs! Because we didn't DTD yesterday but I was peak I'm now panicking that it'll be too late by time I'm home today. My app says ovulation day is today so I just need to chill but it's stressful. I cba with another failed month 😩

@hoola23 love that silver lining 😂😂 I'm ovulating early this month too and I'm like 'shit we defo haven't done it enough'... but it only takes one!

@Aims1991 @CShandy01 yeah I wish we could have some sort of device that literally tracks the egg from bursting down into its end of life. Would make life so much easier!!

I'm pretty sure I'm 2dpo and already calling it. Defo out. There is minimal chance this will be successful. I'm really going to try and not obsess given how negative I feel about this month!

@hoola23 when you said going to bed spermless, I could not stop laughing 🤣 Really cheered me up. Glad you had a good night hun- I agree with @CShandy01 sometimes we have to let our hair down a bit as the stress of trying to be super healthy and on top of it all the time is probably counterproductive!

Me and my husband have been TTC for 3 months now, made more difficult by husband's job sending him away for work every few weeks.
This past month he's been here the whole time which I thought gave us a greater chance. I take clear blue ovulation tests and had 6 days high fertility later than expected then high Friday past. Today I have started my cycle which is worrying me, has anyone else started a very short time after ovulating?
