2WW anyone? Af due Friday

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. Hi @FlyOnTheWall89 i have heard so many women can have a bfp at 15 or 16 dpo and even later. The progesterone hormone is so deceiving as well to our bodies in thinking that we are pregnant but really it's af signs as well. This is my 4th month ttc and man it's a lot tougher than before! Never experienced any of this before and finding it so disheartening this time around as well when I see a bfn. I am not testing at all this time cos I don't want to have hope that I am and then af show up and then be like well ok I'm not I knew I wasn't if that makes sense x

Yes, it really depends when your implementation happened. Some women can already test positive by 9DPO some didn’t even had their implementation yet.

I’ve seen video of a women who was recording taking tests from 7DPO till 5 days after her period was late and only then she got a positive digital. Before that all the CB would come back negative, event though she was definitely pregnant and had baby girl 9 months later :)

Hi @cruz86 ! Yes and these were people who conceived in 2019... not even the recent or no doubt, in the near future announcements. They stick in my mind somewhat.

We grow up being fed the narrative that if you miss a pill, you at risk and therefore think oh it must be quite easy. My partner and I are both early 30s, eat well, are very active, I came off the pill in Dec and my cycles were regular again almost immediately. I had an internal scan in May and I had nothing of concern (not connected to TTC) and the lady said she could see I ovulated. I get very clear ovulation signs and had a static smiley on CD17. We have very regular sex, particularly around ovulation.

No I only bought the CB ones - they didn't have anything else in the shop actually. Good to know I should maybe try another one. 30 is my average... I have had AF on day 32 though. Feeling quite emotional for silly reasons today so I will probably get AF tomorrow.

Urgh just feeling so bummed. This process has really infiltrated my brain.

@rita83 I know what you mean... sounds like we are at roughly the same point in the process. The urge to test is hard to resist but I find it a bit of a head f*ck to test. The CB ovulation tests are bad enough - the want for that static smiley lol. Does anyone know if that static smiley confirms ovulation has occurred or does it have to be in conjunction with a temp test?

Hello @FlyOnTheWall89 the static smokey means ovulation will occur with 12-26 hours so u may not ovulate til two days after this. I didn't use opk this month as I had ran out on cycle day 10 of testing but on this day and day 11 o has ewcm lasted three days we dtd on cycle day 5th 7th 9th 10th 12th and app says I would have ovulated around day 10 but who knows. Cld have been earlier or later than that, that's the frustrating thing and the little guys have to swim uk there which can take up to 12 hours as well and egg is only viable for 24 hours sometimes less than this x

@beckybabyx nope and I don't think at this point he is keen to - any other partners / DH like this? It does seem a bit early for us to go down the testing route. I have read a lot of articles about women presuming they need to have X Y and Z done and forgetting it takes 2 to make a baby.... Might be a step we take in December ish?

Exactly @FlyOnTheWall89, it's frustrating isn't it. You're not out yet, give it a couple of days and see what happens.

I think I'm out this month, just noticed a little bit of brown spotting which I normally get! It's at that point where you just want AF to start so you can begin a new cycle.

@beckybabyx I was very lucky with my son and conceived on the third cycle, and we've only loosely been trying for the past couple of months, so testing isn't something we've had to think about yet.

@cruz86 Yessss I think I will be fine again to just start a new cycle. the wait continuessss....!!

@FlyOnTheWall89 - mine doesn't seem to keen either but I also think deep down he does think that he may have a problem as I don't think he's been too careful with previous partners and they've never fell pregnant.
I think we will probably look into going GP after Christmas because I'll have been off the pill and tracking periods and BD for a year then!

Hello all, my partner done one of them sperm count things which tells u what the count is. His passed as well and of course I did fall in December last year but was a chemical. Still feeling period type feelings as well. Had this all day on and off it keeps coming and going and had some stick white cm as well but only a little bit x

I didn't track properly this month so could be anything from 7-12dpo! It's a mystery. Will definitely buy some ovulation tests for next cycle.

I am at this point of my cycle when everything, instead of irritating me, gives me anxiety- money, work, wedding planning etc. So I’ve decided NOT to test this morning, and I feel much better haha

It’s always like this just before my period, everything seems stressful and disappointing, and then when AF comes my mood shifts back up and life’s good again😂

Is anyone taking pre conception/prenatal vitamins? I’m still on the cheapies from Asda but they’ve done wonders for my nails, they’re are growing nicely 💅🏽

I was like this, this morning. Just done the school run and it was so stressful. My period type pain has subsided a bit today as well so don't know if af will show Friday or not. I take evening primrose oil on first day of af up until day of ovulation as this is supposed to help ewcm. Also take Tesco folic acid and vitamins b c and d but not made any difference to be fair x

Got my confirmation in writing this morning. AF is due on Sunday so feel pretty lucky to find out so early!

@MrsM29 awww congratulations you!!! I bet you are well excited 😊 so pleased for you. I am still having aching today but it hasn't been as bad as yesterday and the day before so I'm not sure what it is to be honest x

@MrsM29 you mentioned I had aching. What did it feel like. Did it come and go at all xx

@rita83 I had almost like period pain aching and it was there for 2 days, on and off throughout the day. Also have an odd wave or two of nausea. But I think that may have been psychological haha

@MrsM29 I had period type pain on Monday it started in the afternoon, then yesterday on and off it kept coming and going and today it's there but not as bad. What do u think. And last night I had twinging pains in the bottom of my back. I haven't had sickness though or anything

@MrsM29 huge congrats! Fingers crossed you have a strong bean there. Very early to find out :-).

Is that a FR test? No one around me seems to have them in stock. Could order from Amazon but then I have to wait until tomorrow!!!!! Still no AF and I have definitely had waves of nausea in the last 3/4 days but CB test on Monday was negative.
