It’s been thirteen million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…its September, autumn in full swing and we haven’t done too bad so far this month compared to previous months but I still think we are owed ladies.

@larrythelizard hope DS is on the mend? And I refuse to believe any vegan cheese is ok except perhaps the smoked applewood (dd used to be dairy free!)

On the cheese front I am weird
I like melted cheese and mozzarella halloumi etc but cheddar etc are a strong nope. To me it seems like chewing on a chunk of candle wax lol 😂 I do like Brie though! But blue cheeses etc are yuck too 😂

All good here, 3 weeks left at work before I have to WFH. My anxiety is still sky high, not really acknowledging the fact a baby might appear until she's here I don't think, and OH admitted yesterday he is terrified of something going wrong too, which makes me feel like he knows something kind of thing, and that adds to the anxiety. 25 weeks tomorrow, I have a 30 week scan.. perhaps that will help calm my nerves 🤞🏼

@blackcurrantqueen you're doing really well. All you have to do is get through a day at a time and then boom at some point out will slide a baby...!

DS still not well today. Have got some antibiotics but getting them into him is well, erm, challenging! As is trying to get some work done. Hopefully he'll be feeling much better after his nap and on track for either nursery or grandparents tomorrow (he had to be touching me at all times for the last 24 hours or so...)

Hopefully you'll get those results for next weekend then, it's a shit anniversary on the TTC front 😩. We have basically got our plans sorted for the house, but we are waiting on the surveyor to do a site plan for putting in planning, and I had our close neighbour round earlier & told her what we were planning and she seemed happy so I don't think they'll oppose so shouldn't be an issue! 🙌🏻🙌🏻we also got our other stamp duty back today so whoop whoop!!

@dmb91 did you get the actual results? I had to double check mine after they said "normal" for progesterone but it was anything but 🙄. TTC is a head fuck & totally exhausting

@Kirky658 He said I'll find wood easier. I was like- but what on earth would I want made from wood? Cotton to me was easy. I was going to get him some socks with our faces on 🤣 but I opted for more boring and just got him a nice t-shirt? He said he didn't think about more broad things. 🤷‍♀️

@Kirky658 I know I'm late to the party but just want to offer my empathy for all you are going through. I had a traumatic birth and was a mess afterwards. I totally get that feeling of why can everyone else manage but try not to compare. Others may be in the same storm but they aren't in the same boat. It was heartwarming to read the replies you got that day. This is such an amazing group of strong supportive women 💪

I had such a stressful day today I nearly went to the bar for a brandy (we have a bar where I work) but I got through it. I also managed to inject myself with the trigger shot despite being in a mad rush/panic at work and the fucking instructions being in Spanish. I think I did it correctly anyway 😂

@Somatronic to be fair probably most people don't. I'm not that bothered and last year we only gave each other cards. They were paper anyway. 🤣 I'm quite lazy when it comes to being creative so I don't think it's something that will go on long term. A tshirt was easy though. And I don't often buy him things. Obviously he can get me flowers or whatever but what do you even get men? 🤷‍♀️ But I wouldn't stress myself out over it. 🤣 I think I'd be well impressed if he'd thought of expensive towels though!

Meal was lovely and I think we narrowly avoided a parking ticket. The warden had just past and we were 4 minutes late back to the car so I was a bit worried. But then read they have to give you 10 minutes grace period.

@Somatronic we don’t do gifts, not anymore anyway, we do a meal and time together, last one was a Chinese take away cos lockdown, we set up the leaving room restaurant style and had a private party, fab! do what feels right to you

Day off! Waiting on the pcr for ds, but he is tired and headachey, and worried about getting ill in school, so I decided that a rest day it is, we were considering going late to school once we have the results but sod it, pyjama day instead

Another one here that doesn't do anniversary presents, we agreed to go away for it instead but the last two years has been Covid so that's out of the window!
