It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

Hi girls, so I've been awol this weekend and just come on to see two bfps!!! @bez91 @Lexber amazing!! Congratulations to you both❤️

Bit of a long winded post but here goes....had a lovely weekend in the lakes just what we needed, decided to go to a festival an hour away for the day yesterday, I drove there and planned to drive back as was back in work early and didn't want to drink, there was a random man on his own that nobody knew, and he was just dancing around and mingling with everyone, him and OH had their arms round each other dancing and swaying, I was stood facing them, next minute this guy just took his arm off OH, took a few steps back, took a run up and lamped OH in the face, I was stone cold sober, witnessed it all, it was completely unprovoked and unexpected, OH had a lump above his eye straight away and a bruise and a cut under and couldn't open his eye, OH is a world champion kick boxer so if he saw it coming could've protected himself but it was not expected at all, I was screaming at the man (who was clearly off his face on god knows what), I said "why the fuck have you done that", his reply "it's what I fucking do love", took OH to ambulance tent, they checked him and sent us to a&e to glue his eye, as we're walking across the carpark to a&e, he collapsed, fell face first on the concrete, unresponsive, I got him into the recovery position then had a panic attack, 3 by standers saw and came over whilst I ran in to get doctors, he was unresponsive for half an hour, took him in, I wasn't allowed in to see him because of covid, sat in the waiting room from 9pm-2:30am, the outcome; broken nose and cheek bone, fractured eye socket and orbital bone and bleed on the brain, they think the eye socket was from the punch then the rest of the damage from the fall, spent the night in hospital, then was transferred this morning to our local hospital, had more scans and monitored and weve just got home.

Girls I'm not a dramatic person but seeing him collapse and feeling so helpless was the worst thing that's ever happened to me, i haven't stopped crying since yesterday, I can't get the images out of my head, I'm just so so glad he's home and safe!

Sorry for the longggg post but wanted to get it out in one! Hug your OH's extra tight tonight, I definitely will be doing!

Also I can confirm the stupid "every woman ovulates on CD14" doctor, was in fact woman!!!

@Vil10 so sorry to hear what happened, how terrifying! Glad to hear he's home n safe tho. What a horrible shock n nasty piece of work that "man" was. I say man like that as no man should act in that way. Disgusting behaviour!

@Amy00 Your pup is gorgeous!!! Although I remember the crocodile stage. Puppies are such hard work (although so cute) but it pays off in the end. I remember one night when our dog was about 12 weeks old we had a takeaway. The puppy spent her whole time biting our feet, trying to climb up our legs, barking, crying, jumping and almost swiped the fish off DH's plate. It was a nightmare. In the end we went to bed early just to get away from her. I also vividly remember trying to walk her and she spent the whole time biting and hanging off her lead. We ended up having to carry her as the whole walk become a massive game of tug with very sharp teeth! She is now a wonderful well behaved dog so it does get easier!

@Vil10 I cannot believe what happened to your OH. How traumatic! I hope you are ok too? Did you report it to the police? Thank goodness you were outside the hospital when he collapsed and you could get help quickly. Sounds very scary. Sending lots of positive get well soon vibes to him.

Things with me have not been fun! I am a teacher and there have been positive cases in my class and then I became unwell with a cough and had to isolate. However my PCR has come back negative but I have had a horrendous cough which has now turned into a full blown cold so I feel utterly miserable. I have not had a cold for so long and forgot how it wipes you out. My temps and my RHR are so high right now! So just awaiting the day when I can breathe easily again.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations it doesn't feel real and after July (which seemed to be a shit month for a few of us) I'm slightly anxious but the strength of the line and speed it showed has helped I think. The on off nausea makes it feel real lol and the fact I look very flushed tonight with rosey red cheeks which my mum pointed out on FaceTime - I made my excuses!!

@Bea14 I was running on pure adrenaline. Crashed when I came home last night, DH continued onto the pub then I was scrubbing old house today and again crashed tonight, exhausted. It's very Archers around here let alone midsomer murders! And omg you are right about the puppy bitey stage, I saw my friends puppy last night & was reminded of that, fortunately both of mine were never the twisty turny on the lead but I know plenty that are!

@Minster2012 no luck with EPU. Gynae are supposed to be ringing me back but they didn't today so I'm going to persevere and if nothing by Wednesday I'm going to try the private clinic. I think you should definitely work in event planning! Glad your MRI is soon, much better than next month

Bloodyhell fire @Vil10 🤯 WTAF! How awful for you both. I hope DH is ok 🥺, it must have been super scary! What an absolute imbecile that bloke is. Anything like that really riles me, I went to school with someone who did a tour in Afghan, came home and got killed in his home town by one single punch on a night out, it makes my blood boil that people have no regard for their actions 😡 I hope the police are involved. @Minster2012 it definitely is! My DS was with me piling up clothes in an unplanned visit to Zara so wasn't just me 🤣 I've ordered a load of bow head bands and chunky knit jumpers. It was from Indigo Dreams handmade @larrythelizard (they're on Instagram) but I'm now off to search Bonds baby stuff!

@paintfairy This is our 5th proper cycle but had a few weeks after my coil out before the first cycle. Had a early loss in July sadly.
Bitter sweet, I know how lucky we are to have caught again so soon.

I genuinely hope we get lots more BFPs this month - I would love you see so many of you wonderful ladies get that 2nd line xxx
