@Juno231 yes I did nothing different completely random and unexpected. Decided to change things in life like my job, was going out more, trying to make myself happier in other ways as I didn't think it would happen and then it had. So strange.

@ChinChilly love the colour of your hair!!! I'm also blonde but more 'dirty dishwater' blonde 🤣 So I have balayage to try and brighten it up a bit

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! I'm finally on CD1 after 159 looooong days, exactly 7 days after my last Provera tablet!! I also had reflexology at work on Friday and am convinced that helped too but probably wishful thinking! Now have another internal scan on Thursday (if AF finishes by then) and blood tests with a follow up appointment next Tues!

I'm on 12DPO. My temp dropped a little further today and my cramping has increased... just waiting for AF to show now 👎

@Kay00 thank you!! I suspect they'll just tell me I have PCOS again, but these are with a private gynae so I'm hoping she puts a treatment plan together for me. Sorry to hear AF sounds like she's on her way 😔

@missC07 they might offer you Metformin to encourage ovulation. Hopefully it does the trick for you 🤞

I'm feeling a bit flat with my first Clomid cycle not working. I had a bit of a cry this morning, but I'm back in the DIY now ehich keeps me happy and i will treat myself to a bath later 😊

@MissM94 it is such high maintenance, so expensive aswell my recent hair do cost £255 😑

@MissC07 yay for AF...never thought I'd say that.

I've spent the entire day scrubbing every inch on my house...ready for bed now 😴

@chinchilly well done! My house will be cleaned tomorrow... by my cleaners 😅 I just have to try and tidy it first 😆

@Kay00 I've thought about getting a cleaner but I'm such a perfectionist I'd end up cleaning after they'd been 🤣🤣

@MintGreenLife It's so so lovely to get an update from you and baby Elis, I was thinking about you lately as well!

I tend just to check in (lurk!!) on this thread every so often to see how you're all doing ❤️ It was a huge support to me as well not so long ago, and I'm still willing lots of baby dust around the place!!

Welp. CD44, no ovulation yet, and now away for a week without DH. I think we all know where this cycle is going (in the garbage)

@MintGreenLife wow that's quite the roller coaster with Elis! Sounds a bit traumatic tbh, are you coping okay now? How is the new house btw, are you happy you moved? I'm waiting for IVF - got my first appointment end of this month and hoping to try in Jan. Started a new job this month so I'll feel a bit shit about getting pregnant the first year but oh well.

My hair is dark brown and super straight. Length tends to yoyo between shoulder and boob length.

@Kay00 I expected AF today as I tend to have a 12 day LP but the witch got me yesterday :/

@juno231 you look lovely 😊 I think AF is starting now... im certainly getting all the pain. So CD1 will be tomorrow for me.

I'm waiting for a call back from the fertility clinic as I still don't know what my CD21 progesterone results were... If they indicated ovulation then I will be taking 25g of Clomid daily days 2-6, but if they indicated no ovulation then I'll be taking 50g again.

Afternoon all, not much going on here. I’m 7DPO today and AF is due by Friday and I will be on holiday in Cyprus :/ and the day after i return I have my gynaecology appointment. I’ve got backache which I don’t usually get when AF is due, think as like most let my mind run wild and hope that I am pregnant 😂 I doubt I will test before Friday as my LP is only usually 10 days but if it don’t come I guess I can take a pregnancy test with me

@Juno231 were not too bad thanks. I did find it all very stressful, and of course haven’t really had time to recover from it all mentally, but I’m sure there will be time for that in the future. Very happy in the new house. We have a lot more space here, and it’s a godsend to be near family. How’s the renovation going?

Congratulations on the new job! How are you finding it? Well it’s not like you planned for it to be that way, so i would just put that to the back of your mind completely! Great that you have your first appointment coming up. Will keep checking back for updates xx

@Kay00 I could do with the break right now! It’s come at the right time. Whilst there we are attending a wedding too so it’s going to be a lovely time away for a week :) and a darn sight warmer then here at the mo!

DH semen analysis came back 100% fine 👍

@TheDaydreamBelievers glad everything was ok for DH! Have they said what the next steps for you will be? Is your private appointment this week?

I'm on CD7 and have finished my 2nd course of Clomid (CD's 2-6) but at 25mg this time. I had headaches whilst taking them, but they weren't too bad. My scan is a week today.

How is everyone getting on?

I've got my follow up with the gynae consultant tomorrow after my scan and blood test last week. The lady that did my scan last week was really lovely and was explaining and showing everything to me. Also found out I have a retroverted uterus too, of course nothing is straight forward for me 🤣

Hope everyone is doing ok.

My consultant confirmed PCOS yesterday and has prescribed me with Metformin, but I'm really worried about the side effects so haven't picked it up from the pharmacy yet 😔 She also gave me my blood results, which mean nothing to me but she said were ok 🤷‍♀️ hopefully someone can translate them...
