@Kay00 I'm honestly ok with it, my RMC appointment is coming up in November so ideally i didn't want to get pregnant before then anyway just incas, how many dpo are you now?

Ok well I thought AF was in full flow but I've just had the pleasure of taking out dry tampon 😖 tmi but seriously that is the most uncomfortable thing ever 😫

@Kay00 I'm 9dpo as well! We're only ntnp until IVF so only managed to BD once in the FW. Odds are shit at the best of times so I'm not holding my breath. Will you test early this time or wait for AF to be late first? Got my fingers crossed for you - hopefully one of those three eggs has stuck around!

Sadly I seem to have gone down the extremely heavy first AF route :( took the day off work today to have a mental health day before battling a weekend in London with a very heavy AF!

Hi girls,

For those of you that know me but some may not, I was part of these threads for a long time

I went quiet after receiving my news as I wouldn't want to talk about it too much here. I understand how painful this journey is. I have thought about you all a lot and I have checked on here too.

I just thought I would update you all that I had my first scan this week and it all went well. I still didn't believe it until then and had been testing still until two days before.

I hope this doesn't upset anyone, but I understand if it does.
I truly never had a hint of anything in 21 cycles, And endometriosis. It's true it can just happen after all that time.

I'm 10dpo and building my hope fortress again 🙄 why do I do this to myself?! I have been getting this funny niggling feeling for the past 48 hours on the left side between my hip bone and public hair line (sorry tmi 😅) and I obviously think it's implantation which is just ridiculous 😆 but here we are... this hope fortress will be very high, and its going to be long fall down when AF arrives 🥴

I was 13 weeks yesterday. I was a few days more than I thought.

There's nothing wrong with having hope @Kay00 its what we all want so much. I always said I had none but you can't help but have some each month. The month I got my bfp I actually didn't let myself somehow or I just couldn't even think about it. I flat out refused to test for days when dh insisted because I couldn't take the disappointment. When I finally did it (only because I had a night out that weekend and wanted to confirm that I wasn't before I drank) I couldnt believe my eyes. I hope so much for you that you get that very soon too xx

Thanks ladies. My hope fortress has been quickly deconstructed. I did an IC and got a bfn. At least now I can stop thinking about it xx

I've had my update and we have 4 embryos that made it and are good quality and are now frozen. I'm really happy with the numbers. I honestly didn't know what to expect given my age

I now am awaiting an MRI and hysterocopy to have a look at my adenomyosis

@Kay00 13dpo today but some more spotting this morning so I'm guessing AF will arrive in full flow tomorrow. @TheDaydreamBelievers is right one day we will all get to live in our hope fortress ❤

@tillybabs that is fantastic. If you dont mind me asking, what age are you?

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm 40 and so I had read online that eggs decline in your 40s with most being abnormal. It was a big worry for me

Thanks ladies. I had some big hugs from my OH too. On my next cycle the nurse said to try 1/2 tablet a day (25g) so that I don't produce as many follicles. But if I can't get pregnant with three, then what chance do I have with one?

I'm also getting a few cramps now, so think AF might show this weekend 😩

@Kay00 Yep, 6 hours! I do have a lot of hair it was down to about my waist but it was way too long so it's about booby length now. I had a full head of highlights in April and they looked ok on the surface but they had been left on way too long and damaged my hair so I've had LOTS of colour correction done to my hair to bring more back to my natural colour. I'm always hours in the hairdressers because of the amount of hair I seem to have but 6 hours is definitely a record

@kay00 ha and here I was about to make my own Rapunzel joke only for you to beat me to it! Sorry for the BFN and with regards to lowering the dosage - you know that's not how eggs work ♥️. You just need the one good one.

@Tillybabs congratulations! 4 frosties is brilliant! I'm 33 and will be lucky to get that many!

@TheDaydreamBelievers remind me what's the latest with you treatment wise if they're claiming you don't have pcos?

@Lovebug06 ah I'm pleased everything is still going well for you! Remind me - the cycle it worked for you was a complete fluke no?
