And yay for probable ovulation @Moocher90, do you think you got decent coverage?

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow we BD on Thursday, Sat and Sun and temp rose this morning so I would guess that the coverage was enough x

So it was a bit of a weird appt for us today. Taken 20min late so was stressing as I had only booked morning off work.

We've to keep trying, in the interim I've to stop using OPK sticks / tracking as they are happy I've got a regular cycle with ovulation happening.

I've to work to lose weight (3.5 stone) so I'm under under 30 BMI wise - positive was I am too slim for referral to dietician. This then means we can be referred for IVF in March next year as that's the 2yr TTC point. I felt this was quite direct and when I asked it's because they're isn't any medications they can give me. I queried as my luteal phase is short 7-10 days but they didn't seem to think this was relevant 🤷‍♀️ I've to redo progesterone bloods but to do them on day 18 and day 25 - I didn't follow the day 25 one as that's usually the length of my average cycle.

I've to query if they checked my tubes during lap I had in 2012 privately and they may refer me for HyCoSy if it wasn't done then. I mentioned that I would prefer to be knocked out for this as I've been told my cervix is tight in the past.

DH is still waiting his SA.

They mentioned self funding but not sure about that yet they did recommend Nine Wells as this is who they use for NHS funded treatment.

I asked about the pain I get and was brushed back to GP for this.

That sounds really thorough @mrsmacmc. They seem to have given you an awful lot of information, I'm not surprised you're still trying to get your head around all of it. Will they organise the day18 and 25 tests or do you need to?

@mrsmacmc glad your appointment was thorough. Although must be a lot for you to take in too. What are next steps for you?

CD155 for me, finished my course of Provera on Sunday and still no AF for me. I've got my bloods and scan booked for next Thursday, but AF needs to have arrived and gone before then!! It'll be just my luck if AF doesn't show.

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow I need to organise the tests, they've given me a sheet with 2 labels on it for the nurse to scan. Tried calling GP today and next available appt isn't until after my day 18 this month so to try the community hospital phlebotomy service - 18 attempts today didn't manage to get them. If not successful I'll try and call GP again and get them for next cycle.

@MissC07 basically keep trying and go back to GP due to the pain I'm getting 🤨 Keeping everything crossed for you ✨

The weight I need to get to will be a challenge. I've never managed to get below 13st and that was with a tonne of exercise / micro managing what I was eating 😩

@mrsmacmc it may not have been what you hoped for but it's good to have the next steps planned out instead of feeling stuck in limbo. I agree that OH should definitely get his SA done. Doctors don't seem to put stock in short LPs - from what I gather they seem to think it doesn't get in the way of implantation, it might just take slightly longer to get there. Perhaps they also think it wisest to get below 30 bmi in case that helps stabilise it? For the weight loss - any chance OH could help by also getting healthier with you? So you're not surrounded by temptation at home and he can join you on evening walks etc.

@Moocher90 that sounds very positive! Fingers crossed you're lucky this is time!

@MissC07 provera and still no AF?? Will you call the doctor if it doesn't show?

@Juno231 I've read some old posts on MN saying that is can take 2-3 days after the last tablet for AF to show. I'm giving it tomorrow then I'll call my consultant on Thursday morning. So fed up now!

@mrsmacmc I agree with Juno, it's good to know where you stand and to know your options and time lines. It's so much more empowering than our usual stabbing in the dark!

@sunshinedaisybuttermellow have you tested yet?

@juno231 have you started your new job now? How are you finding it? Amd how long before you jump back onto the TTC band wagon?

@mrsmacmc I think my local hospital is just a drop in for blood tests, they have a roll of numbers and you just take one and go when you get called. If you can't get through directly to the blood test bit can you call a general reception?

@MissC07 can't believe the provera still hasn't triggered AF! Definitely speak to your Dr if it doesn't work in the next day or 2.

@Kay00 nope 🙈. I just really don't want to see a negative, think I'd rather see AF. My left boob is so sore today though which is unusual for me. Still nauseous and absolutely exhausted, I literally slept 11 hours last night. If still no signs of AF by the morning I'll go out and get a test before work.

@Juno231 & @Kay00 absolutely better than being stuck in limbo / stabbing in the dark 😆 a lot of information to take onboard and process.

OH will be going for his SA, it's the waiting game for the appointment but was reassured that he is definitely in the system as they checked today. We've been doing a lot of talking tonight and he's onboard with getting healthier with me, slightly burst his bubble as his space raider crisps are 3.5 syns 🤭 - hospital suggested looking at SW. I've done WW in the past but my books are so out of date now 😞

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow I'll give them a try tomorrow and failing that call the switchboard - didn't even cross my mind that it could be a rock up and take a deli counter ticket situation.

The consultant I saw back in 2012 has emailed me back tonight to say he didn't do tube check during laparoscopy so that needs to get added to the plan, we've also emailed ninewells tonight to ask about self funding so we've got all the information to hand.

@mrsmacmc that sounds like a whole lot of info etc and potential avenues! It is a confusing guddle isnt it?!

8dpo here and zero symptoms. I know I will be crushed when AF turns up or I get a BFN in a few days time. This is my 1st medicated cycle, I know I had 3 decent follicles and we DTD loads 😆 I know it only gives me as much chance as anyone else, but if it doesn't work then I will feel like I have tried everything and it will never work 🙃

It's my third wedding anniversary today and mother nature decided to give me a present, my first post-mc AF 🙄 super annoyed it had to be today, and also worried about the weekend as we're going to London for an anniversary trip. I've heard the first one is usually a lot heavier so I'm going to be so self-conscious.

@Kat668 my first one post MC actually wasn't that bad, no heavier but abit more crampy, the second one however was pretty heavy.

@Kat668 I had a much heavier third AF after MC but the first was actually v normal

AF got me this morning, wierdly I didn't get my normal day of brown spotting before full flow just straight into bright red.
