@Chinchilly think we can get a pic of the hair?? Wasnt it @mintgreenlife who had a similar epic hair salon session last year with gorgeous waist length hair?

@juno231 awaiting private testing results. It was the sonographer for them that said they see no evidence of polycystic ovaries. Feeback is end oct and we arent sure if we would go for intervention atm. NHS initial discussion is also end oct but importantly this is not for fertility assessment, just for abnormal cycles (it's a gynaecology consult)

I also have pretty long hair - below boobs - and also got it cut yesterday!

@Juno231 so strange, I’ve not checked this thread in ages, and just popped on to see my name! I don’t get email notifications when I’ve been tagged anymore. Yep that was me! I was in the hairdressers all day long having it cut and coloured for our ‘mini’ wedding. It had gotten mega out of control during lockdown and was down to my bum!

I hope you’re all keeping well. It’s lovely to see this thread is still going and that it offers support to so many women, especially women who were in the exact same position I was in not so long ago. The support and opportunity to talk to likeminded people was invaluable to me xx

@TheDaydreamBelievers not even ovulation inducing meds kinda intervention? Are you thinking of giving ttc a break?

@chinchilly I also vote for a hair pic 🙋‍♀️ my hair doesn't really grow below my shoulders, and it becomes ratty if it does, so a long Bob is the best I can get ☹

@juno231 yes, I know. And I will follow the nurses advice. But all common sense seems to fly out the window for me around this time of my LP. I had another small temp drop today. Dang!

@Juno231 private clinics here dont seem to do them! Seems to be straight to IUI with trigger shots. I'd definitely want meds to trial but just depends if I can get that

I didn't take any before and after pics bevause I'm useless! But my hairdresser made a reel so I've just taken some screen shots from that! Obviously the blonde one is before!

I always find myself wondering what people look like - I am also blonde but more goldeny/warmer toned

Another random TTC thought - do you find yourself hoping after good sex that it was THAT time that did it? Rather than the "oh man, I guess we really should to cover our days" sex. Though, last time I conceived it was in fact the latter

Haha @Kay00 imagine you and @Juno231 to be dark haired! For some reason my brain thinks Junos hair is shorter. And @Tillybabs I can see Auburn.

My hair is similar to this (if I can be arsed to style it) and I sometimes straighten it for when I'm in the office. But its a thin mid length brown bob.

Baby was born mid July 3 weeks early, so he’s almost 13 weeks now ☺️ His name is Elis. I had various pregnancy complications and had to be induced early as a result. I also ended up with a forceps delivery and Elis had bad bruising to his face and a cut on his forehead, as well as a lump on the back of his neck (which is gone now thankfully!). All of this contributed to him having bad jaundice and we were in hospital until he was 9 days old for treatment. From then we were seen by the prolonged jaundice clinic as it was hanging around, and then they found he had raised liver enzymes. This meant more tests to try to find the cause, but after near enough weekly hospital visits, loads of blood tests and ultrasound scans, everything started to normalise and there was never any cause found. It was a rocky start for us, but he’s growing really well, smiling and ‘chatting’ now and generally a very happy baby, although will not go down at night or for naps 😆 he just likes a cuddle too much!

@MintGreenLife I'm good. I've started IVF and had my EC last week. I had 16 eggs and out of those 4 of good quality made it to blastocyst and have now been frozen.

I'm having a hysterocopy and MRI done to have a look at my adenomyosis which they discovered I have a

I found out I have PCOS, so was put on Metformin and started my first Clomid cycle recently. I was scanned at CD14 and had 3 x good follicles. We DTD lots and im currently 11DPO but (following a negative test yesterday) I'm not feeling too hopeful. Onwards and upwards!

@TheDaydreamBelievers Yes to the sex thing, had 3 days straight of good sex not just ovulation sex and I thought we must of done it this time well apparently not 🤣🤣

@MintGreenLife shame you had such a rocky start, all worth it in the end. I had a MMC at the end of June so I'm just plodding along until my appointment at the rmc clinic

I brought the dyson air wrap that i posted about a few weeks ago and it's going back the thing is absolutely hopeless

@MissM94 haha...I've been blonde most of my life but it was slowly destroying my hair! Isn't it funny how we all picture each other
