I’ve ordered 2 FRERs online as they don’t sell them round here but does anyone know the second best thing to use in the meantime? I can get a Clearblue early one or Superdrug (which is pink dye) or are there any better ones?

Well this was actually a really weird one for me @Sparklingwine1! Normally I have an obvious ovulation day (I get a few days of flashing smiley faces on the clearblue advanced digital opk, then a static smiley on usually day 18, then my temp goes up either the next day or day after that) but I started taking ubiquinol this month (which I think changed my cycle) and didn’t get my peak for ages. I actually thought I wasn’t going to ovulate at all this month as my bbt didn’t go up for ages after my peak. Fertility Friend thinks I ovulated CD25 but my other apps say 24, and I’ve not really a clue haha. It’s hard to tell from my chart I think!

Thanks @SkeletonSkins! 😊 So shocked but happy you all see it! I actually wondered if it was CD26 too as the temp the next day is the first one to go over cover line (but was confused why it would be 3 days after peak). I’m not exactly sure why they put it at Cd25! I thought I was out of it was CD26 as we didn’t dtd on day 24 or 25. We kind of gave up as I thought I wasn’t going to ovulate, and also dh just had a hip operation earlier this year (he’s 34… this makes him sound ancient) and was in too much pain to continue trying. So glad I’m maybe not out after all!

I really wish I’d tracked this cycle as I now have no idea where I am!
Premom puts me at ovulation day today, fine. However, as we all know, I didn’t use OPKs until I was like…..2 days into my FW (yes I know that by that point I just shouldn’t have bothered) however! My OPKs have shown no sign of ovulation over the last 3 days, and while I get that it’s possible that I ovulated earlier than what I started testing there is also no sign of that either!

So I have either ovulated really early this month as my OPKs are more consistent with the end of my cycle last month than at any other point, which would mean this month my cycle will only be around 20 days total. OR I haven’t yet ovulated and I’m going to have a long cycle this month.

So I’m confused, my cycles do seem to go from 29 to 34 days looking back on the previous dates I did bother to enter into my calendar but the OPKs don’t seem to be hinting at that either 🤔

This is just a brain dump really, feel free to ignore me 😂

@Sparklingwine1 I wouldn't worry too much about not DTD on O day. When I got my BFP I'd fallen asleep on O day but clearly DPs swimmers were lurking somewhere!

CD7 for me, just waiting for CD14 and then DP is going to get the night of his life, assuming my cycle isn't too shaken up by the CP last month!

@Mrsspoon3 I think your DTD on the CD24 would have been a serious contender as I’ve read the couple of days before O you’re actually most likely to get pregnant! Plus you had EWCM so that keeps all the little spermies happy waiting for the egg 😂😂

@Peachycream I reckon the mostly likely thing is you haven’t ovulated yet and are due to ovulate in the next few days. How long is your luteal phase normally and what CD are you?

@SkeletonSkins 13 days and I’m currently on CD18, last month I ovulated on CD15/16, 16 being most likely I would say

@Peachycream I just wanted to say I had a 30 day cycle last month with O on day 19.. and this month I O on 14, so my cycle is looking like 25 days! So perhaps you ovulated early! X

I’m assuming that’s probably the case, I’m most annoyed about it because I like to have a rough idea of when AF is going to arrive……..but I don’t 😂

@Peachycream so if you’ve sometimes had cycles of 34 days that would mean you ovulated around CD21 those months so could be like that this month?

@Peachycream I have no expert knowledge whatsoever, but from what I’ve read online/in books it seems to be more common for ovulation to be delayed than to have a much shorter cycle (although I could be very wrong on that?! Hopefully you will be ovulating soon!

@SkeletonSkins Ah that’s interesting, I know they say fertile week but I thought odds were low if it wasn’t day before or day or ovulation, but that’s good to know!

@SkeletonSkins I don’t know 🤔 so basically, what we’re all saying is it could be either or 😂
I think I might have to bust out the CB ovulation test tomorrow, that’ll tell me either way, if I’m pre ovulation I should expect a flashing/static smiley and if it’s done it’ll just be a circle.

I've been reading today about how our cycles can synch with the moon (don't ask me how I even stumbled across this because I don't know🤣).

Apparently if you are synched with the moon you ovulate when it's a full moon 🤷🏻‍♀️

It may be a load of old rubbish but I find it interesting 🙊 I wish it was as easy as I look out the window see it's a full moon and know I need to DTD 😂

Also if anyone is due to ovulate on July 23rd - you are moon synched as that's when the full moon is this month! 🌝

@Sparklingwine1 - that’s interesting - I just checked June’s full month but I ovulated a week before. I know that births increase around a full moon and labour wards are busier 😅

Apparently light is one of the things that regulates your hormones. Before artificial light most women were synched to the moon and all had periods in the new moon and ovulated on the full moon.

There are ways you can try and synch with the moon but it involves reducing exposure to screen light, going out to look at the stars every night, using candles at night instead of electricity etc.

I know I would never have time to do this but I just think it's pretty fascinating

It depends how optimistic you’re feeling, around the earth it’s roughly every 18 months but if you want one from your location that you can actually see it’s usually every few hundred years 😂😂😂

I held my wee for 3 hours and just did a Clearblue test, and I could see a line straight away! It’s still really faint but it’s there!
I’m so excited but super scared as I feel like it’s going to be another chemical, as I just keep having them! Simultaneously trying to plan my next week if I’m pregnant (like what can I do at the spa, how can I get away with people not noticing, can I still go to Alton Towers next week haha) while trying not to think about it all so I’m not too disappointed if it’s another chemical!

Have you looked at the charts in the community gallery on Fertility Friend @Sparklingwine1? I didn’t even realise that feature was there for ages but have looked looking at everyone else’s charts! 😂
