Thinking of you @DoctorBambino 💙 Hope you get some definitive results soon so you know where you stand Flowers

Congratulations on your boy @coffeewithmilk! 💙

DoctorBambino · 31/07/2021 07:55

Fantastic news, nipt came back as low risk for all 3! I have very low papp-a so will need extra scans to monitor growth. I love a scan so that's good news for me! I am so so relieved!! Maybe now I can actually enjoy pregnancy like a normal person!? Much love and baby dust to all x

HereIfYouNeedMe · 31/07/2021 08:26

@DoctorBambino that is fantastic news!! Wishing you a happy pregnancy 🥰

Hlump1980 · 31/07/2021 09:54

@DoctorBambino so pleased and all the best with this pregnancy x

coffeewithmilk · 31/07/2021 14:52

@DoctorBambino amazing news! I was only thinking of you this morning. So happy for you ❤️

Louise276 · 11/08/2021 10:54

Morning all. I thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing. I am now into the TWW after our 2nd month TTC post ectopic and tube removal in May.

Cycles have gotten longer - looks like I have ovulated CD23 - so not sure if that is due to my covid vaccine, stress or that I have not shifted the half a stone I put on following on from our last op and comfort eating after my operation!

Work has been seriously stressful the last couple of weeks so I have been in a bad head space panicking that the stress has meant my cycles have got longer!

Back on the fitness diet wagon - with the exception of a couple of days as we have had a mini city break away to see some friends in Leeds and Manchester!

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their summer! Xx

Hi everyone, I've not caught up with this thread yet but wanted to tag it as I still think of you all, I know it was such a massive support for me. I can't believe it's on the third one now!
Sending lots of baby dust to you all x

MrsB2019x · 16/08/2021 11:06

Hi everyone, hope you are all well!

@DoctorBambino That’s fantastic news, hope you feel you can relax a little now ☺️

I had my DD Ella last Monday, she is everything I ever hoped for and more 💕 There is light at the end of the tunnel after the heartache of ectopics and losses, I’m so glad there are lots of you ladies now expecting and I’m excited to hear your journeys! x

DoctorBambino · 16/08/2021 12:55

Huge congratulations @MrsB2019x how exciting! And Ella is such a lovely name 🤍 I'm so so happy for you!

I'm 16 weeks today and have a private scan booked for this Wednesday to give me some reassurance after the stress of the 12 week one!

Would love to hear an update from my fellow ivfers! How are you @Luan82 and @coffeewithmilk ?

coffeewithmilk · 16/08/2021 12:59

@MrsB2019x amazing news! Congratulations. Ella is such a sweet name ❤️

@DoctorBambino great to hear from you! I'm nearly 16 weeks (just behind you!) I'm feeling good, bump is making an appearance now. Had a private scan at 15 weeks and everything looked great - amazing the difference between the 12 and the 15! Counting down the days until the big scan at 20 weeks but staying positive!
Hope you're feeling good ☺️

Lots of love to everyone xx

Luan82 · 16/08/2021 15:17

@MrsB2019x - wonderful news!! 💕 gorgeous name too!!
@DoctorBambino- great news also!! And very reassuring I'm sure. I don't blame you - I have had to delay the second dose of my vaccine till after 12 weeks so I will likely book a private scan at 14-16 weeks just for peace of mind ❤️ all good here my 12 week scan is booked on the 2nd sept so not long to go, obviously because of the IVF we have already been lucky enough to have two scans one showing a very healthy heartbeat at seven weeks - aside from extreme exhaustion and daily (all day) nausea I'm great and showing a bump already !!! Xxx

HereIfYouNeedMe · 16/08/2021 21:35

@MrsB2019x oh that's amazing news, congratulations on baby Ella 💖

MrsB2019x · 16/08/2021 22:07

Thank you all 🥰

@Luan82 @coffeewithmilk @DoctorBambino Love all your updates 💕💕

DoctorBambino · 18/08/2021 14:12

16 week scan went well, baby is measuring a few days ahead which I always find reassuring! And we found out baby is a boy!! 💙

Kate105 · 19/08/2021 08:06

Hi everyone I've missed a lot! Didn't get the tag at the start of the new thread for some reason!

Congratulations to the new bumps (and babies!) and welcome to the newbies. Hopefully you get some good news soon.

No news from me, I'm 34 weeks now so nearly there! I'll have a wee browse through this and get caught up properly xxx

Bundaberg84 · 19/08/2021 09:25

Finally I found the thread again! I needed a break for a bit after the surgery in June, all scars healed nicely, my cycles are regular since after the surgery and I feel ready for TTC this month again. Anxious of course as I fear it could happen again, but so many lovely women in this thread give me hope that it could work for me too!
On a side note, I had a really weird AF this time. I'm 36 and I know my AF, it was just... off? Bright red, much stronger than usual, and it stopped kinda from one hour to the other. Regular 5 days, but it never stopped like that. It was like someone turning the water on and off.

MrsB2019x · 19/08/2021 13:45

Congratulations on your boy @DoctorBambino! 💙

leopardlove · 20/08/2021 10:21

Hi all! I'm so glad to have found this board and have been catching up on all your posts after having my ectopic at the end of July.

I had a MMC in March this year at 8 weeks and it absolutely devastated myself and my husband. I fell pregnant again in June and thought I had another miscarriage around 7 weeks due to very heavy bleeding. After this I went to the A&E in my maternity hospital for repeat bloods which continued to rise. When I was just short of 9 weeks they found my ectopic in my right tube and I was admitted straight away for surgery and lost that tube. Thankfully I wasn't in any pain or it wasn't an emergency situation but still very upsetting and stressful.

Luckily my cycle came back 4 weeks post surgery and we are hoping to TTC this month again. We have no children yet so really hoping we get a bit of good news over the coming months. Reading your stories gives me so much hope for the future! X

Bundaberg84 · 20/08/2021 10:46

@leopardlove I am sorry you had to go through this all! I lost one of my tubes in June as well, I hope you're healing nicely. And good luck on your journey!

Dreamer30 · 21/08/2021 10:39

Hi all, hope everyone is well 😊 it's been almost 3 months since my PUL and having Methotrexate and feel more than ready to try again.
I've been on Cerazette since then and was just wondering if anyone else was in the same situation and when they conceived after stopping the pill? I'm expecting my cycle to return to normal quickly as it's only been a short time but last time I was on the pill it was a year and a half and took 30 odd days for a withdrawal bleed. I'm so impatient lol hoping everything is back to normal soon

Sammyclaire22 · 21/08/2021 23:22

@mrsb2019x congrats on your little girl! My eldest is an Ellen, so very similar (good taste haha!)

And congratulations to the other nicely growing bumps, so lovely to see good news.

My first post ectopic baby turned three this week 😱 so crazy to look back at the last few years. All the ups and downs, and so so many tests!
Good luck to those still trying and hoping, Its a hard road but I'm so glad to have found others who understand it x

NigellasMicrowave · 01/09/2021 13:57

Congratulations @MrsB2019x on Ella’s safe arrival - such uplifting news. I’ve enjoyed reading @coffeewithmilk and @DoctorBambino’s updates and @Luan82 - good luck for the scan!

I need a handhold please. My period isn’t due until the weekend and I got this, this afternoon after feeling crashingly tired and having a “feeling”. I am very, very scared. I’ll phone the EPU at the start of next week, just in case AF shows.

coffeewithmilk · 01/09/2021 13:59

@NigellasMicrowave thank you!
That is one strong line!! Tentative congratulations ❤️
Phone EPU and they should give you an early scan. Will be thinking of you.

All is good my side.. I'm quickly approaching 18 weeks and all is going well thank god xx

Bundaberg84 · 01/09/2021 14:31

@NigellasMicrowave so pleased to see! I don't know how it was with your ectopic, but I didn't get a positive until around 16dpo or so. I hope everything will turn out well for you!!

Mistysmom · 02/09/2021 10:25

Hi, l am looking for a bit of support/ advice.

Found out I was pregnant on 4th August 2021 so dated at approx 4 weeks. By 13th August, heavy bleeding and cramping begun so Dr's referred me to early pregnancy unit. Found out I had a possible miscariage/ ectopic pregnancy and they wanted to monitor my bloods as hcg levels were 1900. 17th August, levels had increased to 3300. Another scan showed 2cm mass by my left tube so possible PUL. The Dr's gave me the methotrexate injection same day and monitored me over days 4 and 7.

Hcg Levels were 5900 day 4 and 5591 day 7 so not the 15% drop they were looking for. Dr's then gave me a second methotrexate injection on 25th August and hcg levels dropped to 4414 on day 4 and 1921 on day 7. Now getting weekly bloods to monitor hcg levels.

Baby would have been the final piece of the puzzle for me and my partner. I feel like I've lost so much. I am 36 so fertility is not on my side and am so scared to TTC again. I know I can't do anything for 3 months due to the methotrexate. I've had two children with my ex, 1 normal and 1 c-section so can't understand how this could happen. My partner would like to try for another baby when we are able too but I am petrified of going through this again.

Any advise greatly appreciated, TIA xxx
