Congratulations to everyone that is pregnant and good luck to all that are waiting. I am going to see Prof Regan tomorrow so will hopefully get all my bloody results and we can make a plan. I haven’t got pregnant the last 4 times and normally get pregnant pretty quickly so think my body is slightly messing with me !! So fed up and just want my rainbow baby .

Good luck @Hlump1980 I hope you find your appointment with Professor Regan useful and reassuring. I have been to see her (not for recurrent miscarriage) and I felt that she was absolutely wonderful. She’s straightforward but empathetic and clearly very, very good at what she does. I was somewhat in awe of her. Let us know how it goes. I’m not surprised you feel fed up but this is a really good step forward in the right direction for sure.

Sorry guys for jumping on your posted, I have had a mmc had a D&C the 9th June my pregnancy ended at 6weeks 4 days but the sack grown to 14weeks2days I then bleed 2 days after then got a negative test 12th June me and my partner have been trying again, the 15th and 16th I had watery brown discharge I then tuck a pregnancy test on a one step test got a really faint line yesterday has anyone else had the same problem or will it be a new pregnancy or tissue? Really confused as to what it may be

@myrainbowjourney Sorry for your shitty journey - which sounds comparable to mine. I had a MMC in May 2020 and a MC in November 2020 before referring myself privately to Prof Regan. I have been diagnosed with a blood clotting problem so was on asprin from seeing my BFP in April this year. Sadly this ended in the removal of my right tube due to an ectopic was a hugely traumatic experience. We will never know whether the asprin would have been enough to get us to the end goal! I hope you are looking after yourself - time does help and we are now back to trying again - but make sure you take the time you need. If we have another MC, I like you will look at having natural killer cells investigated. It’s tough isn’t it, but I know being hopeful helps!

@Hlump1980 How did your appointment with prof Regan go? I agree with others who have said she is very direct but also empathetic, it’s a good balance I think. If we don’t fall in the next 2 cycles I am going to have my remaining tube checked with her just to cover all of our basis.

We are now on Cycle 2 post ectopic and back to trying again - I am due to ovulate either today or tomorrow, so we will see. We only dtd once last night, the pressure after 3 losses is hard to dtd any more then that. I on average have got pregnant within 3 cycles but I don’t know if it is going to be as easy now with 1 tube! I have however my fingers and toes crossed! Is anyone else in a similar DPO stage to me? AF due 19/20 July!

I would also recommend any of you who want further comfort from what you have been through take a look at this book. It is written by one of the ladies who does the worst girl gang podcast (which I also recommend).

It covers TTC, MMC, Molar Pregnancy and Ectopic - amongst other things. It has helped me feel not as alone and help me see how I feel about certain topics is normal given the circumstances we sadly find ourselves in!

I'm still in shock feels so surreal because it's been such a long journey, as you will all know having experienced an ectopic we aren't out of the woods yet and I have to speak to the clinic about the next steps to check it's growing in the right place this time so keeping everything crossed that this is truly our rainbow baby 🌈 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼xxx

It's so lovely to see so much ivf success in here. It seems to be successful first time in a lot of cases which also keeps me hopeful as I know that's always an option. Although I'm sure at my age the odds might be less? (35).

@Louise276 thank you. I am now less than a month from my appointment and I'm getting itchy feet to want to try again. We are just not being careful at the mo, but not tracking. I don't even know if I've ovulated, and I'm on CD29 - such a pain!!
My doctors won't re run the blood tests to hopefully reduce the cost so I am still fairly anxious about the appointment, but I know it's something we need to do.
I'm definitely feeling more hopeful now, and you're right, it really does help!

@myrainbowjourney well as a 38 year old with amh of 4.6 which is classed as very low - (basically diminished ovarian reserve) I am proof that it really does take only one! I think for IVF over 35 the odds are just starting to decrease so 35 is still a good age ❤️🤞🏼

Wow @Luan82 what an absolutely lovely and inspirational story. Thank you for sharing that with me. It definitely brings so much hope. I'm currently fretting about not being pregnant when we haven't even been trying 🙄. It's so hard to shut your brain off from it.

@Luan82 I'm so so happy for you!! This is great news! I found the wait for the scan the hardest part, hope you're doing ok!

I'm now 10w3d. It's been tough so far to be honest, I had a big bleed last week and had to have a scan at epu but baby was fine and they said I have blood from implantation around my uterus which will just keep coming every now and then until it reabsorbs. Spotting again this morning which is still super stressful stressful though I know technically it should be OK.

Why can I not just have a straight forward pregnancy like everyone else!? 🙄

@DoctorBambino - 10 weeks, wow that's flown!! I know so many people have experienced a bleed in early pregnancy but it's obviously stressful for you nonetheless, I know exactly what you mean about the first scan, we feel we daren't congratulate ourselves till after the 16th and we know that the pregnancy is located correctly, even then I know we aren't completely out of the woods but it's an important step for me. Because I've never experienced a positive pregnancy test since or before the ectopic I genuinely didn't realise how scared I'd be about another, I'm paranoid about every twinge at the side!!! I am experiencing sharp stabbing cramps at one side when I stretch sometimes but I think that is possibly the side where they took all the eggs at collection and likely my ovary is still recovering - I've had no bleeding or spotting yet which I see as a positive as I had that with the ectopic, my nerves are just shot - praying so hard it's settled in the right place!! xx

@Luan82 I had exactly the same, and still do if I get up too quickly! Just everything expanding I think 😊 have you got a date booked in for your scan yet? My 12 week is on the 20th!

@DoctorBambino oh I'm so pleased you said that! The last time I got a bad twinge was when I got up out of bed too fast!!! Our scan is the 16th when I'll be six weeks so only a week tomorrow - thank goodness 😅 12 week scan - amazing and depending on how you feel you can even start to think about announcing it by then!! So so happy for you! 🌈👍🏼😃

Commenting to stay on this thread as I seem to have lost it even though I was tagged at the beginning lol.
So lovely to see so many with their positivity and bfp after a difficult time. I'm 3.5 weeks past my methotrexate injection for eptopic and feeling good. My hcg was at 11 on Monday so have been discharged from EPU and they just ask that I do a test in 3 weeks time to make sure it's positive. Been such a roller coaster but finally feeling a bit more positive about the future and taking time to focus on myself before we try again 😊
