Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

Tempting as it is @Juno231 it depends how big your industry is and if she'd pop up again? Guess it depends how it's phrased.

Sounds annoying but makes sense @clolo. When will you get them implanted?

@Juno231 apparently not! It's slightly up from where the Bartholin's one would be. The doctor just said it wasn't a Bartholin's but it was an infected cyst so I've got a course of antibiotics to take

@Juno231 wow she really is awful! Did she share what your surgery was? I can't believe she even shared it in the first place. She definitely sounds worse than my boss that way!

Two team members who worked under my bad boss and left over the last few years gave very negative feedback on him at their exit interviews with HR and nothing changed! A month or so ago another team member under him went off sick with stress due to her treatment from him and she was honest with HR and highlighted all the negative things he had been doing but again it was swept under the carpet. It seems it's an absolute waste of energy to do it here. I think it's because he joined the company back when it was a start up and without any proper social or management skills has ended up a department head and on the board purely from being the first in the door. I think HR are scared to do anything as he's technically above them being on the board and could in theory get them sacked. So many people also were hired under him and quit for a new job within months which again makes it really obvious he's not a good manager. I think my company seems to think staff below the board are all dispensable and when someone goes it's normal/fine and they will happily just find someone else.

It all depends on where your boss sits in the company? Is she likely to have anyone give her a kick up the ass or is she high enough up that HR will turn a blind eye? My colleagues who gave the negative feedback all did it partly to vent but also they hoped those of us left would benefit from him being told to improve. I don't know if I'll bother when I leave as I know now it doesn't seem to help those still working under him. I'll probably leave quietly and remove his existence from my mind forever. If they ask questions I won't lie and would answer that he hasn't been a great boss of course.

I can't wait until you hand your notice in to her and I hope she realises what she's lost once you're gone.

@InkyPaper oh no! I've got a sore patch though and avoided it atm. These things are never bloody helpful! It's like everything is against you!
@Juno231 your boss sounds like a dick. And yes I think you should say something. No one ever wants to because of rocking the boat but then why should these people get away with it? You can't have it help you now, but it'll help the next people.

@Minster2012 it was well fast! I was only in there about 15 minutes. Your thermometer sounds more advanced than mine. Mine doesn't do that.

So- have gonal-f injections. I'm to start a day later than last time and on a lower dose. Back Monday for a scan. I've literally zero hope of this working. DH said this morning the same thing. 🤣

@paintfairy haha well at least it's one step closer to the part that has a genuine shot of working!

@2020mission @larrythelizard I won't bump into her again luckily. Partly because she's based on a different continent but also because she's realistically going to stay put until her retirement now. 2020mission she's been there almost since the start so if she gets a kick up the butt it would be to sideline her into another role (wouldn't be the first time). Another colleague of mine is resigning this week and he's planning on letting HR know as well (he's the one with the deceased mum) and a third one will be leaving asap and is planning on doing the same. With 3 of 5 staff leaving within such a short space of time and all with the same feedback it's bound to shame her at the very least.

@InkyPaper oh that's interesting! Shame about the antibiotics getting in the way of catching that egg though :(

Hi ladies, sorry I've missed so much! I think I've missed a full bus if not more! Congrats to all the bfps!

@paintfairy, I just saw your message about the IUI. We did it last month & I'm now over 8weeks pregnant. We literally didn't bd or do anything else so it can work & I really hope it does for you. I know that we are around the same age & so are our dhs. I was on the gonal-f injections (taking a dose of 50) & took the trigger shot around day 11 and then the iui day 12. We had so little hope of it working that we had booked in & paid for the next round of it & had gotten the prescription for gonal f filled too! I'm sorry if me announcing my bfp is insensitive or upsets anyone but I also want to give some hope. I'm nearly 39, had been trying for #2 for nearly 2.5 years & was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility.

@MartyMcShy i did wonder what happened with yours as I didn't remember seeing any update! I think our issue is - we have slight male factor too. But this time I'm not going to bd so close to going for the scan (like they told me to last time) with then less than 2 days worth of time for the SA. That was silly.

Currently wallowing in self pity at returning to 230 emails after a week off. Definitely need to apply for that other job 😬 cousin has invited me for her birthday do in October it's basically an adults soft play so surely that will spur pregnancy on once I've paid for everything plus my £100 train journey to London 💁🏼‍♀️

I think it might be worth not bd beforehand alright @paintfairy. We were told not to coz ideally they want a 3 day break before the iui sample. I didn't have a scan confirming there was only 2 follicles until pretty close to when we were actually doing the iui so we didn't want to risk it. We just took a huge break in May apart from the iui coz we were so down in the dumps about it. I came away from Mumsnet too. I am really keeping my fingers crossed for you this month.

@MartyMcShy they told me to. And after. Its really hard to predict it before to be honest, you have no idea what 3 days would be. But certainly 36 hours was ludicrous. So this time we'll hold off!

@2020mission and @Juno231 those stories are jaw dropping! Fair play to you for having the balls to complain her. You're dead right. I thought my boss was bad for refusing to let me have sick days.

I'm about to go into an unplanned break from TTC too I think. My period for June never showed up so I think I'll just stop for a while because I'm completely depressed and frazzled about it.

@Minster2012 it's on the labia basically (sorry for tmi 😂) a Bartholin's cyst can happen on one of the glands down there and can be quite nasty. Congratulations on your new house! 🙌🎉🙌

And yes this is the one DH hated, Cos it's not a "pretty house" (he hates Red brick houses) and it's not got big high ceilings like either our barn now, our old little Victorian cottage before or a lot of Georgian houses or farmhouses round here. This one is a big project to modernise it & make our own 🙌🏻how's yours going?
