Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

Can I have some virtual hugs please ladies I'm having such a vile week at work. It has just been problem after problem, have hardly had a break today, DH just got home and I broke down into floods of tears because I'm so stressed over it all! I know I've only got 5 weeks left before Mat leave but my stress levels are through the roof. I get a weeks sick pay at full pay so I could feasibly ask for a week off sick but I don't know if that would help or hinder as I'd then have to go back and deal with everything that piled up while I was off 😭

@Minster2012 there may be some dodgy 1950s decor in the new house but it looks so lovely from outside! The light switch is just odd though isn't it haha

@Minster2012 it looks ace from the outside! And I'm not a fan of red brick houses either - this isn't at all what I expected!

@Minster2012 the outside looks good! The inside is, erm, interesting. 🤣 It's always fun keeping before and after photos though!
@Kirky658 oh no. You'll be ok! You've got this. Bloody hormones are not helpful when trying to deal with shit though. However at the same time (maternity leave or not) they still need to take into account they shouldn't be stressing you past a point. It's not good at this stage.
Yeah @Minster2012 I have a plan. But then I didn't realise it was going to happen so fast last time. But I'm ready this time!
@Juno231 honestly can't decide if it's a good or bad thing. It's a hindrance if it's never going to work. But if it does, well, saves the ivf hassle! I think it'll likely work first time if they get it right, so you'd think they might have tried at least once?

@Kirky658 awww darling bug bug hugs from here, if you take a week sick could you kinda use extra time when you are "officially off" to not come back to a mountain of shit or 230 emails like @bez91? Like use it more like your time?? That way you can have a break but not be killed when you get back?

@2020mission much bigger garden the plot is fab & we hope to gut it basically but in a couple of years I guess, I'm not that big on ideas for it though, any architects on here???

@Juno231 yeah I'm not the biggest fan but it's ripe for an overhaul to make what we want on a fab plot in a village only 2 miles from here the community we love so that's what sold it to us

Thank you! When I said take a break I mean from TTC not necessarily from the thread so please include me! I don't see the point in trying to conceive when I'm not ovulating and all my plans for testing/hycosy have gone out the window for now too due to missing period and the doctors being on holiday.

@Minster2012 love the house, even the cockerels, you'll have to keep them and put them elsewhere

Thanks ladies, we are delighted but very nervous too. Not really talking about it a whole lot. I had a scan this morning & heard the baby's heartbeat but I'd love just to get to 12 weeks.

@Somatronic, I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. Did you get the covid jab? Is that why af is missing? We went privately coz we're in Ireland & there's no fertility treatment available on the public system. The iui was just over €800 & the prescription was €110 so almost €1k. Are you thinking of doing iui?

@juno231, due date is Feb 5th! I reckon it's a good one.

@kirky658, big hug. That sounds awful. Definitely think about taking sick leave. I often think work stress is overlooked as a source of sickness but my gp reckons one of the reasons it took us so long to conceive was the stress I was under & my body too. Stress is crap.

@becarefuloutthere, congrats to you! I'm delighted to see ivf worked for you. I hope you're feeling well.

@DKDK123 you're right! They're just good to get the addiction out😂 I haven't actually tested since, got some frer coming tomorrow morning so guess we'll know for definite tomorrow! All my af symptoms have disappeared too, it's all so confusing!!

@becarefuloutthere she didn't mention having a day 21 for my progesterone, or will this he included in the ones I'm having? It just doesn't say it's being tested on the sheet!

@Clairey844 I thought i could even see something without the brightness being adjusted too!! I'm testing tomorrow! Thankyou for the wishes!! Also how annoying with you having to self isolate!! My mum had it last week and her and my dad slept in separate rooms and tried to just stay out of each other's way and he didn't get it, might be worth just being a bit more aware, an excuse to have some personal space😂

Sorry I went silent ladies! So I have 2 frers on order from Amazon prime arriving tomorrow morning, so 🤞🏼 for me, but I don't have much hope to be honest, af pains have completely gone and I don't feel periody at all, I'm wondering if I'm not pregnant and it is covid, will I just skip a whole period? Doesn't really help when I need to book my blood tests in for 7 days before my next period because I won't know when it's going to arrive! Bloody annoying!!

@Vil10 don't worry much about booking the bloods exactly 7 days before your next period, if you can track ovulation with OPKs or BBT. It's more about checking the bloods a certain number of days after ovulation so you'd want to be going for 'day 21 bloods' about 7 days after ovulation. When I was getting tested, I ovulated on CD12 and then got the bloods done on CD17 which was only 5 DPO and a bit soon but it still showed I had ovulated and had enough progesterone. I had to go 5 DPO as the ideal day typically fell on the weekend so it's all the doctor could do. It should still be fine if you're a little off as it wasn't a problem for mines 🤞

@Vil10 progesterone needs to be tested 7dpo or 7 days before your period so it'll be that one. There's no point testing it on day 3, the result will be skewed. Annoying that you're still not clear on your cycle, hopefully the frer brings some clarity. 🤞🏾

Thanks for all the lovely comments ladies, it's a big project but was a bit bittersweet going there earlier on my own as when we went round to view it on the second time it was the day I tested & got my BFP so we thought it was the perfect place to have the dogs & X and another baby & it's a bit sad we aren't thinking like that when we'll move in I guess. But we are taking DS there tonight & that will help having him run round & explore

@MartyMcShy I thought I remembered you saying before that you're Irish which is why I asked! I'm Irish too so obviously fully understand having to pay for everything here. I'm in the Coombe infertility system at the moment but they basically just do Clomid and Hycosy so it's probably pointless.

Missing period not jab related. Again, being Irish we're behind the British vaccine regime so I don't expect to get my first one for another few weeks. I'm in the next age group due to be called (29-34) so that's good at least. I have PCOS so I presume it's something to do with that.

I'm not sure what to do yet. I assumed IUI would come after Clomid and before IVF but I'll wait and see how I get on. I didn't realise how expensive it is. Holy moly.

At least your house has character haha ours is stark white everywhere and then the kitchen is wood cabinets everywhere. We’re going do a full renovation in a couple years. It has white carpet everywhere, what can go wrong???

In order news I had my scan today all normal. Baby was chilling with his legs crossed and his hand by his head and the other one waving, I was really anxious the last couple days thinking all sorts would go wrong. I have a huge fibroid that they need monitor, it explains the awful periods.

@Vil10 good luck for your testing day in the morning let's hope by bringing out the big guns of a FRER you can get a good result 🤞🏻❤️
@Minster2012 congratulations on your new house! I know it may be hard at first knowing you got it on your BFP day but hopefully you can fulfil your new home with lots of loving memories with your family and hopefully another little one in the not doing distant future ✨

No @2020mission I didn't mean for @Vil10 that she def needs it on day 21, I just meant they need to be done so you can know about ovulation actually taking place! My doctor won't call them anything other than "day 21 bloods" despite mine not being on day 21 either! Yes ideally 7 dpo is the plan but had mine about 8 dpo Cos of the weekend & it was also still fine so we are both saying the same thing!! Total misunderstanding sorry if you thought I meant it HAD to be day 21 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️(however my doctors always start with a reading on day 21 on the first time even if annoyingly you know you ovulated no where near. Prob tick boxing I guess)
