@CycleGirl20 @thislittlebird I must be the resident nymph then . . . I'd be very happy if my OH was up for DTD everyday. Im the 1 with a higher sex drive!

@MIW01 I have no drive whatsoever tbh and I don’t think that’s normal. I wish I did. I always knew my drive was low but I feel like since all this I realise why and it makes me sad really.

@thislittlebird I have low drive too and can also find sex painful/difficult (think due to suspected endo/adeno). Made DTD every other day hard going and stressful. Have you had your estrogen tested? Mine was towards the lower end of the scale and now I'm wondering if that's why. I also think I have lower progesterone. Since being on these estrogen tablets for FET I have noticed I have loads of EWCM and my drive is higher.

@Narwhal88 that’s really interesting and I’ve wondered if mine will improve when I eventually get to the meds. My estrogen was fine but lower end of the normal range from what I recall, but my progesterone is quite a lot below the normal range. I don’t get much ewcm either, so I guess it’s nice to have a likely explanation, even if I can’t fix it.

@thislittlebird @narwhal88 my sex drive is very low I csnt remember if it used to be this way before ttc haha!

Sex is painful for me but I was always interested in the other stuff haha but even know I cba with that so I think ttc has taken its toll mentally , combined with endo pain!

I don't think I get much ewcm either. I'd always assumed my estrogen would be on the high side because doctors keep telling me being overweight causes high estrogen. I'll have to check my numbers!

@Narwhal88 @thislittlebird @CycleGirl20 that’s interesting about oestrogen levels. Mine are on the lower side of normal and I’ve got a fairly low drive! 🤔

OK girls so my update is out of my 6 follicles only 3 are responding 🤦‍♀️ I don't know how I feel about it disappointed nervous and not feeling very positive. All doing as they should but I was hoping all 6 would be thriving 🤦‍♀️

My scan update 9 altogether but a couple of those are smallish (smallest 7) so looking ok for day 7of stims, just a waiting game to see what they’re measure in at on Friday! Feel a bit flat but not really any reason to, I knew I wouldn’t have loads 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Sjhigs what measurement? Don’t be disappointed- I know it’s hard, I had 12 on my original scan so I have no idea how the numbers change so much - out of mine 3 are dominant so maybe I’ll only have those by the end of stims - so hard to predict, hope you’re ok x

@polejunkie 10 12 13 are the measurements they told me not to worry I'm feeling like I'm beat already 😞

@crazycatlady1981 @thislittlebird I just looked at my blood results and my estradiol/estrogen was 19.1 Pg/ml when I had the test done on cd 2/3. Apparently 26.7-156 is normal in the follicular phase so I do have low estrogen. I would say I have a normal sex drive but now I'm wondering if low estrogen would impact my fertility.

@Sjhigs @polejunkie that's a start though? You should get a few eggs from that right? It is sad when it's less than expected but then it's good you have a few. Are you both good to go for the next stage (sorry, I don't understand the details of IVF and so on so not sure what the steps are!)

@Sjhigs sorry you’re feeling disheartened 💕there’s still plenty of time, this is a really early scan, my first scan isn’t until day 10 of my stims, so there’s still time for a few to catch up, but also 3 really good ones to go with! 🤞🏻 I’ve read so many positive stories on the ivf group about people with only a few eggs! Are you eating plenty of protein and using hot water bottle, that’s supposed to help them grow.

@polejunkie all sounds promising for so early on! Fingers crossed for Friday!!

@crazycatlady1981 yes I always eat lots of protein anyway but no hot water bottle not bothering to do anything the clinic didn't tell me don't want to start obsessing just hope they are 3 good ones

@CycleGirl20 another scan in Friday to see how they're progressing and hopefully egg collection next week

@MIW01 I'm with you most of the time I'm happy for dtd every day but then have a couple of days break here and there lol it's him that doesn't always want to

Interesting about the oestrogen as mine was through the roof when it was tested! It said the levels should be 222-854 in the Lp when I had it checked but mine was 1127pmol/l

@Sjhigs I'be seen a few people say it didn't look like they had many then they shoot up bu the second scan, but remember it's not about lots of eggs just about the right one!

@thislittlebird @CycleGirl20 I definitely have a higher drive than OH. I'd happily DTD every other day and he's okay with once every 10 days. Eg we're on CD24 and only done it 3 times this cycle - all during FW cause he "had to". Luckily I have my trusted toys to fill in the gaps lol!

@Juno231 mine can be a bit that way. For him it's more down to what he's doing though. If he's busy working (late, at home in an evening) or the likes then it can be hard to draw him away. He's made more of an effort of late but every day for a few days around ovulation can be too much for him. It's annoying too when I've taken 5 days of letrozole and had a minor headache for that period. I'm keen to try as hard as we can to avoid having more months of trying!

Sorry to hear it's disappointing @Sjhigs @polejunkie but as others say it's still early days and definitely plenty of stories of hope for these things! So wishing you both for growing happy Eggies!

Glad I'm not the only one @Marvellouslymadmum and @Juno231 sometimes he can't keep up with me, lol. My oestrogen was in the normal range and I've heard the term "oestrogen dominance" thrown around before to explain my belly fat but as I suspected it's not the case, my levels are within range.

@Juno231 @Marvellouslymadmum I genuinely wish I had more of a drive, I would happily swap. I hate that I don’t, it makes me miserable. We are definitely not doing it every day, every other day, or every week. Was all very sporadic before this started, our sex life was barely there and I think he was tired of me not being interested. I would change it tomorrow if I could. Since then I have to do it, I’m lucky he’s happy to do it in the fertile week as much as is needed. But throughout the month I find really hard, the motivation disappears after fw. I wish I could change it.

All of my hormone levels are low, bar AMH, I’m sure that contributes.

I’m about to go to the GP surgery and see if I can find out about rubella immunity, amongst other things, this should be interesting.

@thislittlebird best of luck! I'm glad I didnt have to source that info myself seeing as my immunisations would've been done in a different country...
