@CycleGirl20 I think what grinds my gears the most is they know I’m likely not regularly ovulating and not once have I been offered clomid or Letrozole. It’s something that could have worked for us but nope. I’m hoping we can try it in august if the doctors can both see me the last week of July. Unfortunately one of the secretaries has yet to reply to me Confused, but we are getting the frag results on July 26th.

I’ve looked at access and I think we’ll go with one of their multicycle packages (2 rounds) for now. Would be nice to start in September, I’m going to lose my mind if it’s not September.

Is October 18 months for you?

@MIW01 it’s hard because you just feel the clock tick tick ticking, but I know we both have problems that may well have been there before as well. I was studying and working before I started this job nearly three years ago, so I didn’t feel like getting pregnant was the best idea. But I do wish I’d tried sooner.

Where we live now is fine and we have enough room (even though it doesn’t feel like it sometimes) but If he gets this job we’ll have to consider moving at an awful time property market wise. Every bugger has decided to move to the coast and the prices have soared round there. Very frustrating. But it is what it is now. If he doesn’t get it we’re ok here for now and have time to sort things out. If IVF doesn’t take multiple rounds we may even have money leftover to do this place up before we sell it lol

thislittlebird · 06/07/2021 08:24

@CycleGirl20 10% wow that’s a lot. I would consider it, I just want to do my first round/s here so I’m not quite so anxious. Anytime I do something for the first time I get incredible anxiety so if we go abroad it would likely be for another round.

I lost a couple of pounds last month and my bmi came down slightly. I do wonder if that helped me to ovulate (and I’m 99% sure I did ovulate last month). I know exercise can stimulate hormones, might try again this month once I’m out of my period funk.

polejunkie · 06/07/2021 08:29

That’s rubbish @CycleGirl20 ☹️

@thislittlebird really sorry to see you are so down, completely understand why, just try and be kind to yourself, it’s a tough enough journey already without beating yourself up over things that are out of your control.

@Sunbird24 yay for the transfer 🤞🏼

@crazycatlady1981 hope pjs puss puss is doing ok?

thislittlebird · 06/07/2021 08:39

I missed the negative @CycleGirl20. It sucks. I’m at the point where I just want someone to put the damn egg and sperm together, why can’t they get together themselves ugh.

@polejunkie I have a sister I don’t like very much and don’t speak to now, and I can just hear her words rattling through my head of “don’t leave it too late”. Hate it, that was a good decade ago or more now.

CycleGirl20 · 06/07/2021 08:40

@thislittlebird fingers crossed for the letrozole/clomid in August. If not, it sounds like you're on track for IVF in Autumn. Access did look like they did some good packages. I'd be like you though with not knowing what to go for due to high amh and so maybe I could get 10s of eggs in one cycle. October will be 6 months of trying post laparoscopy so we'd have had chance to try naturally for a long enough time again.

Thanks @polejunkie. I really wanted a bfp, but don't we all 😅. My boobs are so sore too so I was thinking it might be.

thislittlebird · 06/07/2021 08:53

@CycleGirl20 yeah I hope so anyway. I think the urologist will want us to give it another three months but I’m not too keen on that.

They do have some good packages yeah, even better if you’re younger and don’t need ICSI. It’s so hard to know what you’ll get, but I’m assuming if my body is producing 20 + per cycle as is I have a good chance of getting a decent number. Quality remains to be seen 😔

My boobs were also very sore this month and i think this must be what ovulating feels like 🤪

CycleGirl20 · 06/07/2021 09:15

@thislittlebird I'm 35 but will be 36 if we need to do IVF. I really should check if it's cheaper to do it when I'm 35 rather than 36!

thislittlebird · 06/07/2021 09:43

@CycleGirl20 the biggest leap up in price is after 37. I just missed out on that. Should have bit the bullet last year but we were busy getting married.

CycleGirl20 · 06/07/2021 09:59

@thislittlebird congratulations on getting married! We missed the boat on that one a bit and covid has stopped us since. We want our friends to be able come and not to have to panic about it being cancelled every other week. Not being married excludes us from funded IVF when we move back over seas with work. Many European countries only fund you if you're married.

thislittlebird · 06/07/2021 11:24

Thanks @CycleGirl20! It was all very low key which is fine by me. I would have had no one there if I had my way. It was originally May and then we rescheduled it for October. Hmm interesting how they want you to be married.

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 14:15

@crazycatlady1981 @Sjhigs @Sunbird24
yay congratulations! 🤞🏻 for a sticky bean for you both

@BrownEyedSquirrel I wouldn't wait, any delaying only leads to regret down the line if you then struggle 😑

@thislittlebird I hate af she is a royal bitch for showing when you don't want her and not when you do! I wish I could offer more than an ear for support right now it's so horrible how some have to suffer so much compared to others that seem to have it too easy!

@MIW01 that's so awful, I do hope you get something sorted and your baby dreams come true!

Do any of the endo ladies have any insight on this one - I had a 50 day cycle I'm currently on cd11 and have started bleeding again!! I thought it was old blood at first but nope and now I've no clue what's going on - is this endo/adeno related? I'm all confused again 🙄

kerrym87 · 06/07/2021 14:49

@Marvellouslymadmum bleeding between periods isn't endo related, more likely to be fibroids, or some other issue. If that's new for you worth getting checked out x

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 14:52

@kerrym87 well that's even more confusing! I've recently had an external amd internal us scan and smear and no fibroids or anything found 🤔

CycleGirl20 · 06/07/2021 14:59

@Marvellouslymadmum I've had bleeding between cycles and it's always been hormonal for me. Usually it happened after something knocked my hormones out like when I came off the pill a few months before. Is a 50 day cycle normal for you? If not it could be your body syncing back up after that

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 15:18

@CycleGirl20 I don't think o have much of a normal 😂 my cycle les are generally 21-35 days with three longer 50-66 days cycles in the last 18 months

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 15:21

@kerrym87 @CycleGirl20
I just consulted dr google and he told me it can be to do with endo/adeno so I'll go with that for now I think 🤷🏼‍♀️

Annny27 · 06/07/2021 16:10

@marvellouslymadmum my specialist endometriosis consultant asked me if I spotted and he said that it can be an endometriosis sign! I think it might be hormonal caused by endo if that makes sense

Sjhigs · 06/07/2021 16:48

Silly question alert 🙈

When they put the embryo in where does it go does it just float about or what happens I wished I'd of asked more questions thinking of the stupidest ones now 😂

Sunbird24 · 06/07/2021 18:28

I don’t think there’s enough free space for flotation @Sjhigs, so it’s instantly in contact with your lining. Then it’ll either implant or it won’t…

Sjhigs · 06/07/2021 18:46

@Sunbird24 thanks I wasn't sure what happened 🙈

CycleGirl20 · 06/07/2021 18:51

@Sjhigs good question! I always wondered what the sperm swim in inside your womb. Is it a 6cm by 6cm cube of liquid? So the sides of your womb touch eachother @Sunbird24?

Sunbird24 · 06/07/2021 19:22

It looks that way on the ultrasound when your lining is at the stage they do the transfer @CycleGirl20.

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/07/2021 23:33

@Annny27 thank you glad I'm not going mad! At this stage I would rather it was endo related than anything else I'm just now wondering if I still class this as cd11 and expect ovulation in the next few days of it this changes things 🤔 another confusing cycle here we go!

polejunkie · 07/07/2021 07:16

Morning! Those who have had transfers, were you all told not to have baths? It’s one of my ways of chilling out and I really want a bubble bath, I know you’re not supposed to overheat etc but what’s the reasoning behind this? Hope everyone is getting on ok x

Sjhigs · 07/07/2021 08:38

Morning @polejunkie no baths 😞 I'd love a wee face mask chill night my friend had been through ivf over here which failed and tried Spain her consultant there said no baths for 12 weeks

How are you feeling? Anything to report I'm going out of my mind flat put on Google tormenting myself 🙈 I had niggly 1dp woke me up on Mon night too and I had a funny feeling low down yesterday when I laughed and coughed from early morning but felt absolutely nothing from 6 last night being a real negative Nancy today gonna try to keep super busy

Actually booked to go away at the weekend last minute I'm that obsessed I just need out of here 😂😂😂

Up and at it today made myself a list so I'm not sitting around on my phone like some crazy person

DH thinks I'm losing the plot 😂😂😂😂😂
