@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker they gave me the scan photo but I did ask for it. They seemed a bit shocked so I guess it's not the norm (for nhs anyway)

@becarefuloutthere if I test early it won't be before next Saturday as I have quite a lot of things on at work and I wouldn't be able to cope with them if it was negative. That will be 11dp5dt so should be accurate.

I still have no AF, it’s now cd 30 and I think I ovulated on day 15/16, it’s officially 14 days since then and I usually have a 12 day LP. I don’t have such sore boobs, they did get more sore again yesterday, just hoping she keeps away today and they’re not gradually returning to normal as my progesterone does 😔.

@thislittlebird I must say I'm a little bit excited for you!! How much longer will you wait before doing a test?

Long time lurker and hoping to conceive DC2 some time this year.

Has anyone delayed TTC the month they got their COVID jab? I finally have my period back after DC1 (took 19 long months!) and want to crack on but am due to ovulate the day of my 2nd vaccine... thinking I might wait until next month but I'm really undecided...

@becarefuloutthere I’m not sure, maybe a few more days based on previous late cycles? I’m so scared of it just being a late AF again. It was late last month but I’m 90% sure that was because I was taking high doses of B6, it was a 31 day cycle and it’ll be 31 tomorrow for this cycle 😬. I’m not taking B6 this month, although I bet I’ll come on today because that’s about my luck.

May was 31 days, April was 24 days, March was 33, Feb 26, Jan 29, Dec was 30 and November was 36, and the rest of the previous year were all under 30 bar one or two months. March being 33 was because I was on 9 weeks of antibiotics and I have no recollection of why my cycle was 36 days last November because I didn’t track it then, could have been antibiotics again because I was battling this infected skin issue for a long time.

30 days isn’t unprecedented and that’s today 🤨. Maybe I ovulated on day 18 🤷‍♀️

@polejunkie I have POAS PTSD 😭. I’ll wait weeks if it means I don’t have to see another goddamn negative lmao.

And I was right....just had the first signs of AF showing up when I went to the loo. Ugh. This is a truly terrible experience lol

@BrownEyedSquirrel welcome! I didn't delay but I had just started my ivf injections by then. I'm delaying the second jab until 2nd trimester or might just delay until after the birth, still undecided at mo. It's very hit and miss on whether or not it'll mess up your cycles, it'll just have to be a gamble you take.

@becarefuloutthere @polejunkie thanks, I’m sorry too. I rarely symptom spot and this month just felt different. I just wish it would work, we have a horrible decision coming up if my husband gets a job elsewhere and I have to stay here and do ivf alone. I was seriously hoping to avoid it so maybe it felt different because I wanted it to 🤷‍♀️

You all know what it’s like, it’s not fun. Pfft. I’ll have a cry and move on to getting his fragmentation results I guess 🥴

@polejunkie yeah, I’m stressed just thinking about it really. Terrible timing but jobs in that area don’t come up often. It all feels like awful timing.

Who here just had successful fertilisation of eggs with male factor? I remember somebody mentioning it.

@becarefuloutthere I've had a few cramps but hardly anything, had loads last time. Not long till your scan now! Let's hope this week goes fast for both of us!

@thislittlebird sorry your cycle teased you the month, i have been there before and it's just so disheartening. Especially when the timing is perfect as well. We have severe male factor and 8 out of 10 fertilised, 3 made it to high quality blasts. I think there are a few of us on here with male factor.

@Narwhal88 I really hate how so many of us can’t even imagine it. That’s why I find testing so stressful, I can’t face looking at negatives at all.

Three is not bad from ten really. Remind me what your husband’s issues were? I feel like I remember you had motility issues like we do

My LP is 16 days so feels like forever waiting for it to be later anyway!

@narwhal88 gor Everything crossed for you lovely! Both my pregnancies I had a few cramps like normal months really nothing noticeable! Only from 12dpo did I start to feel a bit hot etc

@Annny27 I can’t stand it. 16 days must be such a headache. Mine is usually 12, no idea what happened this month because I didn’t track ovulation. It still doesn’t seem normal to be but hard to say why 🤷‍♀️

@clolo I find that so reassuring tbh. My DH has a normal count, but only 9% motility so it works out to be about 11 million motile sperm. Your fertilisation gives me some hope. We can’t get our next results until the end of the month, but I’m really keen to give a private round a go.

I can’t deal with waiting another three months for the nhs tbh. I need to try something, I’m losing the plot.
