You are right, it's the uncertainty. That's what DH doesn't get I think, we're ok for now age wise but for men he can sail along for 50 years in a career whereas as a woman you have to consider timings of your opportunities. I think we'll give it another 6 months then consider the private intervention if nhs pathway doesn't work out. Is it August you're 'relaxing' til still?

Haha not like that @bez91 we live on a (smallish) new build estate and are pretty overlooked! Depends when FW falls in August as we're away with family for a week and also for a weekend away with some friends, might be easiest to restart it all again in Sept, we'll see.

Oh god girls, disaster talking of houses, a friend sent me a screen recording of a house for sale that a woman has put on Facebook buy and sell as they're selling privately because they didn't know if they'd get much interest, no pictures of the outside but it's in a lovely area, amazing garden and views, lovely family home, open plan, the works, I messaged the woman and organised a viewing for Sunday. Another friend of mine used to live in the area so I messaged her asking if she knew where this house was going off the post code, she then replied telling me she was going to see the same house tomorrow, fantastic🙂

@Vil10 that's so hard to decide on your big trip, it would be the trip of a lifetime! But also as you say just the uncertainty of Covid, travel restrictions and money is a lot. @bez91 glad the private clinic appt was better than your gp discussion, one interesting thing I've learnt is that women that go through the recurrent miscarriage clinic a lot of the evidence for some reason is that they tend to do better after even without any physical input and just the support seems to help, so maybe consider the counselling (I hope that makes sense I can't figure out how to word it lol)

So in my line of work they often demand to know what salary you're on currently (and they verify it with background checks) and that's exactly what they asked for today. They wanted the last three years worth of salaries and bonuses and then casually asked me to state what I'd like from them. I HATE this kind of stuff. It just means that if you're underpaid it's hard to justify an jump up in salary and you just know it affects women more than men... Fuck it though I asked for the top end of their range which is a big jump for me 😅

Also anyone trying more natural/eco friendly products, I have just switched my deodorant to “Wild”, it’s pretty good, no aluminium, vegan, no plastic, smells lush. You get the reusable case and refills, if anyone is interested I have 3 codes for the case to be free (normally £7).
