Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@LS2020 wow can’t believe you slept through it 🤣. Great that everything is ok for you. Are you managing to rest? Gosh I can only imagine, any idea when they will call?

Juno231 · 17/08/2021 10:07

@LS2020 were you under sedation or GA? Not that I fully comprehend the difference lol. Best of luck on the update today!

@mumof23188 I was up at 5am with nerves 😂

@Juno231 just under sedation but I went straight out like a light!

Well some sad news that only one made it through the night so now we wait. They said the rest all fertilised but they had too many nuclei ie too many sperm got in or the egg was too slow to close off properly and split. They said probably a big indication of why we haven’t conceived and even if this week isn’t all positive, it’s something we can chat through with doctor. It looks like ICSI might solve the issue.
Until then we wait! Said to my OH that maybe the fact one is now normal is a good sign it might just develop on as normal now our main issue has been overcome?!

Juno231 · 17/08/2021 10:56

@ls2020 ah that's a bummer - but as they say you just need one good egg so let's hope this one makes it to day 5. Interesting about why the others didn't work - that would explain that unexplained infertility! I'm glad that if you need another round there's a solution to it though xxx

Thanks @Juno231. Yes we’ve said ironically this is probably the furthest we’ve ever got as reckon our MMC was probably abnormal and then none of the rest ever developed. I’m glad we went for IVF though as would have been futile trying I think. Just a pain I have to go through the shots and egg retrieval again, could have done without that 😂

QueenLagertha · 18/08/2021 07:39

Hi ladies.
Hope you don't mind me jumping on.

My Fitbit RHR was higher than ever up until 10dpo. 12dpo today and RHR started to fall yesterday. It has fallen off a cliff today. FRER lines still getting darker. Has this happened anyone else before?

I'm thinking I'm having a chemical pregnancy

Hi @QueenLagertha - that is some lovely line progression so would take a lot of comfort in that. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a waiting game - when is AF due? I’ve seen people not have rises until about 18-20dpo ie 5 weeks pregnant so I would look at your test progression. Make sure you take them at the same time though because I freaked myself out doing on in an afternoon and it wasn’t as strong!

QueenLagertha · 18/08/2021 07:49

Thanks @LS2020 all taken first thing in the morning. AF due Friday or Saturday.
The line today looks the exact same as when I fell pregnant with DS.
However had lots of symptoms with him at this time. My symptoms seemed to stop yesterday. Had some moderate cramping for half an hour last night just. Sore boobs gone etc.

I probably need to step away from the tests for a couple of days. And maybe take the Fitbit off. Easier said than done. My head is fried.

LS2020 · 18/08/2021 08:02

@QueenLagertha unfortunately I think it’s a wait and keep yourself rested as possible. It didn’t help me at the time but I took comfort after when I was researching chemicals that if it happens within 5 weeks, it was most likely damaged embryo and would never developed past that point so even though it’s hard, it was never something with potential so in a way it was better AF showed and I could move on. You’re supposedly more fertile in the months after it that brings some comfort too. But for now, take care of yourself and try out the Fitbit away, you never know ❤️

QueenLagertha · 18/08/2021 08:06

Thank you @LS2020 for your kind words. Hopefully AF will just come on time if so and put me out of my misery as soon as possible 🤞🏼

LS2020 · 18/08/2021 17:44

@QueenLagertha I really hope it’s a good ending for you, let us know how you get on ❤️

@EveryMumDay these pessaries are hitting me hard! Making me realise every TWW symptom I’ve ever had has just been progesterone though 😂

EveryMumDay · 18/08/2021 18:00

Hey @QueenLagertha, glad you joined us here. Do not worry about the drop, everyone's hormones are different and our bodies behaves in unusual ways. Just wait after your missed period to retest. Take good care of yourself 😙

@LS2020 you've had a very busy week. I hope you are ok and coping well with the whole process. It's not easy but you're doing great in being in top of it all. I agree, those pessary tablets throw all kinds of symptoms!! I've stopped symptom stopping and just carry on putting it in every evening like a robot 🤣 Hope you got hold of some of the applicators to use.

QueenLagertha · 18/08/2021 19:08

Thank you ladies. Will let you know.
Baby dust to you all ❤️

GlassLily · 19/08/2021 13:16

@QueenLagertha I have had 3 CPs and they all had fainter lines than that, which didn't get darker the way yours has. The rhr drop is worrying, but I'd keep fairly positive for now based on the lines.

Hope it sticks for you 🤞🏻 all the best for what is bound to be a very stressful few days! Reach out if you're feeling overwhelmed, so many of us have been there and it's not something you have to deal with on your own.

GlassLily · 19/08/2021 13:19

@LS2020 so glad you have started the process, and congratulations on your little fertilised egg 🥰 how long do we have to wait to find out how it's progressing? Fingers and toes crossed for you. And brilliant that you now have a better understanding of what might have been going wrong when TTC - knowledge is power!

QueenLagertha · 19/08/2021 14:24

@GlassLily thank you. RHR shot up today and line darkened more on FRER. That's my FRERs all gone now except for a few cheapies so I'm going to accept that I actually am pregnant now and stop testing. 🤞🏼 plus I feel awful today.

@LS2020 wishing you a sticky bean ❤️

LS2020 · 19/08/2021 19:43

@EveryMumDay this limbo of waiting for day 5 news sucks but we will get there! I’m off work tomorrow so can’t tell if that’s better or worse. Day 5 is Saturday 😂 are you thinking of early test or waiting til AF time?

Thanks @GlassLily they said no more updates til Saturday morning now. They’re calling tomorrow to book me in so going to ask on that call. I did ask them to ring if it stopped progressing to let me know and not had anything yet… we paid for a special thing where they take pics every 10 mins and they basically implied they wouldn’t look at til Saturday anyway now but what’s the point of doing this extra thing we’re doing then?!

@QueenLagertha what an exciting update!! Please let us know how you get on with :) if you’re still worried, a GP will probs do you a beta test now

GlassLily · 19/08/2021 22:23

@QueenLagertha that's great news! Congratulations! Sounds sensible to stop worrying... Enjoy being pregnant while you are pregnant. Hopefully that will be for 40 weeks! If it's not then it's not worth wasting any time worrying.

@LS2020 not long to go now! Come on, little egg 🤞🏻 you can do it!

Juno231 · 20/08/2021 09:30

@QueenLagertha great news! Just goes to show day to day blips should be ignored

LS2020 · 20/08/2021 13:25

@GlassLily @Juno231 thanks both! Had my hospital update and we are in a great place for day 4. My transfer is booked in at 11am tomorrow and then get a call from embryologist at 9am to confirm quality and grading. Said was no concerns noted in my file so hoping for the best 🤞🏻

Juno231 · 20/08/2021 13:44

@ls2020 ah great news so far! I will be thinking of you the whole time. Are you planning on doing the "traditional" mcds fries on the way home? Any brazil nuts/pineapple waiting for your TWW? aaah I'm excited!

EveryMumDay · 20/08/2021 14:45

@LS2020 that's awesome news :) Good luck for tomorrow :)

QueenLagertha · 20/08/2021 16:09

@LS2020 brilliant news. Fingers and toes crossed for you

gezelligheid · 20/08/2021 16:18

Hey guys, so this yellow arrow was supposed to be ovulation, but today I'm still getting lots of clear wet cm and have been for about 5 days now. Not stretchy but like water.

Has anyone had clear watery cm after ovulation or is it a pre-ovulation thing only?

Sorry that is posted multiple times! As you can see, RHR rose for ovulation then dropped 1bpm and now back up again.
