@Crazydoglady123 oh my I really hope this is it for youu❤️❤️❤️ how exciting

I know, I feel so bad for him I think he's trying to be positive for me, I think he thinks there's still a few things he can try but with both being zero I'm not too optimistic if they will even be able to retrieve any 😭 but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Calling my doctor today now to see if they can send my referral in ASAP

polejunkie · 13/05/2021 09:37

@Crazydoglady123 my fingers are well and truly crossed for you, this wait must feel soooooo long!!! It's definitely looking positive for you - do keep us updated and try to relax, we need more BFPs in this group for sure!

@Aimzie so sorry to hear about your OH, it's tough no matter who has the issues. I really hope you can transfer results etc. so as to not delay any further, but in the meantime it sounds like you have lots to keep you busy!

Motherofkittens28 · 13/05/2021 09:46

@Crazydoglady123 can I ask, why did they decide to put two back? My clinic have been very clear that they will only put one back for us (much to my OH's relief!) If its too personal please just ignore me as I wouldn't want to pry!

RobinRose · 13/05/2021 09:55

@crazydoglady123 I couldn't see your pic earlier... looking good! 🤞🍀

@Annny27 ahhh I can't ! 😩 I am certain, 100% af is on her way . cramping and a bit of spotting. Knowing my luck if I test af will arrive straight after (this has happened before😑)

Juno231 · 13/05/2021 09:57

@Crazydoglady123 christ alive I can't believe I've just seen a BFP stick from you. I so so so hope it's the real deal - it looks too strong to be the trigger still I think at 12 days past shot? All appendages crossed for you xxx

@Aimzie that is absolute poo, I'm so sorry for you and your OH. Hopefully there's just something blocking his tubes that they could fix easily when it comes to it?

@thislittlebird I understand the rollercoaster - I really hope the GP chat goes well for you!

Annny27 · 13/05/2021 09:58

Omg I missed your pic @crazydoglady123 yes yes yes!!!!!!

Annny27 · 13/05/2021 10:00

@crazydoglady123 it looked like my line from 11dpo this month so definitely a bfp :D are those the easy at home tests those are what I used first

2020mission · 13/05/2021 10:12

This has to be the quietest most cautious BFP announcement I've seen on MN 😅 @Crazydoglady123 🙌 fingers crossed it sticks!

thislittlebird · 13/05/2021 10:13

I’ve skimmed but fingers crossed for @Crazydoglady123

@Aimzie have you suggested that he might stop the protein supplements yet? Might be worthwhile in case it is having a detrimental effect.

@Juno231 it didn’t go well. I can’t even speak to them now. I’m losing my mind at what he hoops these people have made me jump through. I called another surgery today and asked if we could register with them, I can’t keep doing this, it’s making me so stressed.

Marvellouslymadmum · 13/05/2021 11:02

@sausageface glad you're feeling better, my mum is exactly the same, ever so Helpful but sympathy is not what I need so she doesn't know! @Annny27 made me laugh not wanting to share your sadness but I totally get it! It's like I'm holding it all together, just BUT if someone starts being sympathetic I'll probably totally lose it and end up a blubbering snotty mess 😂

@Crazydoglady123 wow now that's a huge progesterone level!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you! That's great news about the test, I really hope it stays positive for you - would be so amazing if they both implant!

Hi @Ladybug06 im similar, 42 been ttc 3 years, started investigations in jan but my referal appt isn't until approximately November! There are a few ladies in London area who may be able to help though.

@notyetamumbuttrying hopefully everything will be ok for you, I think Covid itself is more likely to effect men's fertility than the jab

@Aimzie so sorry it came back 0 again o do hope your oh is ok too must be very tough for you both? What is the next step? Will they check for blockages etc? I've heard that men can take ubiquinol, maca root and even clomid to help sperm so there's lots they can do to help or seegical Sperm removal too

Juno231 · 13/05/2021 11:09

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry - I keep forgetting to reply to you but I swear it's not personal Grin. I'm okay, a bit down about work atm as I hate it but feel like I'm trapped due to baby reasons. Healing wise... one of the incisions looks quite red and angry but otherwise fine. Just a bit worried I'll get dark patches on my skin from the healing process as I'm quite prone to scarring.

Aimzie · 13/05/2021 11:14

@thislittlebird yeah he's stopping everything even pre workouts for a few months and cutting out the caffiene. I have him on maca, Folic acid coq10.
I know it's really crap but we're still glad we finally have answers and then once the moves done well get back to ttc properly ❤️❤️ I'm so happy for all you ladies who got your bfp 😘😘😘

2020mission · 13/05/2021 11:20

Aww @Juno231 I feel your pain with being stuck in an annoying job. I have a plan in place to not go back and to find a new job nearing the end of maternity leave (if the baby sticks 🤞) hopefully you will get your BFP soon and can plan similar. I also hated feeling stuck because of the possibility/hope of becoming pregnant at any moment. Just think of the maternity leave coming your way when you get your BFP soon!

I know any lap incision scarring isn't ideal but they are low down and small and honestly after pregnancy none of us are going to have lovely stomachs anymore 😅 so would try not to worry about those!

Crazydoglady123 · 13/05/2021 11:33

Thank you everyone ❤️

@Aimzie men have a way of staying positive to get through things. Mine does it all the time

@Motherofkittens28 I asked for two but they advised one as to not waste the embryos as implanting two doesn't increase the the success rate apparently but I argued to use the grade C with the grade A so it kept two grade A's in the freezer plus I had a full term healthy pregnancy with my son they agreed. Apparently the final decision is yours. I just had to sign a form before they did it.

@Juno231 my first one ⭐️ I hope it's not the trigger but the next few days will tell!

@Annny27 yep the easy at home ones! Going to try a frer tomorrow too

@2020mission 😂 so scared to get my hopes up 😬

Motherofkittens28 · 13/05/2021 12:26

@2020mission I am also desperate to leave my job but not in the right frame of mind to look for something new. I'd love to not go back after mat leave but I have a good job and if I can do 3 days a week afterwards I will try and cope! It's so hard as I need my year off right now!

XPeach123 · 13/05/2021 12:52

Tagging along for the next ride...
So, update. I've been provisionally offered a new job yesterday and part of the pre-checks I need to answer this...
Are you having, or waiting for, treatment or investigations for any medical condition at present that may affect your attendance or may require adjustments at work?
This morning we received the funding approval letter for two cycles. DH and I discussed now starting first cycle until later in the year.
I want to be transparent, but I don't know how much the treatment itself will affect me working. Would appreciate your advice?

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2021 13:19

@Aimzie I'm glad you've got next steps lined up. It's what kept me going when we had male factor issues.
@RobinRose did you track ov? If you're 14dpo I'd test, but that's just me.
@Crazydoglady123 ah amazing, so not mad early really then. So that's you poas daily until "missed period" date. How exciting mate!! Thrilled for you 😃
@Annny27 exactly that on the gossip front! It's a shame as I have a friend who I'd love to tell but then she'd spread it around the whole group and I'm not up for that! Hope you're ok today hun.
@Marvellouslymadmum thank you for that, have heard that as well so we're both booked in for Sunday now!
@Juno231 phew, you do still like me then 😅
I'm like that with work so feel your pain there! And same with the scarring. Dark skin, so I never scar nicely if that's even a thing. One incision is so much bigger than the other as well. 😣
@XPeach123 I wouldn't tell them yet. I'm quite cynical tho and would want to wait until after probation was passed. Do you get a good feel from the company/your boss?

@clolo couldn't agree more! I only told my boss about 3 days before starting injections. I've been in my company 3 years.

RobinRose · 13/05/2021 14:14

@notyetamumbuttrying I don't track ov, I find it too stressful. Af arrived so no need to test

crazycatlady1981 · 13/05/2021 14:28

@Crazydoglady123 ooh just seen your test stick photo! It looks good! So excited for you!! Fingers crossed for your frer test tomorrow!

I decided to phone Bath Care to see if I could find out anything about starting our ivf. Just spoken to a lovely nurse who told me all my drugs I’m having and is getting the prescription sorted out! So it looks like we are hopefully starting on my next cycle, (although I’m still waiting to hear from satellite clinic with my treatment plan and give me a definite yes for our next cycle!) Af due tomorrow! I’m going to be on Buserelin injections, then Ovaleap and menopur and then Crinone progesterone gel. Anyone else had those ones?

XPeach123 · 13/05/2021 14:29

@notyetamumbuttrying @clolo I completely understand. My current line manager is aware we have been having tests but she hasn't had an update on results and approved funding. I had no intention of updating her until we began the journey with all the hospital appointments.

My potential future employer - to be honest I didn't even expect to be offered the job I was so flustered. My pet dog could have answered those questions better than I thought I did! Also, not sure about others but being interviewed through a virtual meeting it's so hard to get the right feel for the employer. I've declared it, and if it affects me receiving a formal offer they clearly wouldn't be the type of employer I'd want to work for.

@RobinRose sorry to hear AF has turned up, it's always so disheartening when your period shows up late when you thought this month might be different. Sending virtual hugs.

Motherofkittens28 · 13/05/2021 15:08

@crazycatlady1981 i was on buserelin last time, this time I'm on ovaleap and menopur and think my progesterone might be the same as yours, I know it's different to last time. I also have lubion progesterone injections as I spotted from day 4 post transfer last time

RobinRose · 13/05/2021 15:19

@XPeach123 aww thank you! It is just the being in limbo, new it was coming but she likes to keep me in suspense 😑

re telling work... I haven't told my work anything... I took a day off to have a scan and blood test last week but I can have up to a week off for fertility treatment so won't mention it untill/if the time comes!

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2021 15:57

@RobinRose ah sorry mate! Hope you're alright! Mines due today too and taking her sweet time. I have all my horrible joint aches and pains so that's a treat 🙃
@crazycatlady1981 yay to being so close now! I'm on buserelin now and then stimming on menopur. Have pessaries for the progesterone rather than gel tho. Not looked too closely at them yet as trying not to get too ahead of myself. (For the first time in my life lol)
@XPeach123 Lol at the pet dog comment! 😂 Well good for you for being honest and hopefully they appreciate that and don't hold it against you. And like you say, if they do, then you know it's not the company for you!
