@GlassLily once you get your peak you generally ovulate within 12-36 hours so waiting for 14 hours should be fine.

I'm wondering if I should have a relaxed cycle this month - still take suppliments but maybe not opk or bbt 🤔 the reason being my fw starts around today with ov predicted between 19-22nd. But I have a smear booked for Tuesday 18th oh has his sa on 20th and been told to abstain for 3 days before and I have my second Covid jab on 22nd 🙄 so I'm thinking nothing will happen for us, though I'm also kind of thinking it's not going to happen anyway until I get my referal and everything going for lap but hey ho!

Omg @Annny27 I'd forgotten about the double embryos! Eek @Crazydoglady123 this must have crossed your mind or are you not letting yourself go there?
@GlassLily most ovulate 24 hours after peak so I'd do it 14 hours from now if you've done it last night.

@Marvellouslymadmum I'd defo take this as opportunity to relax. Perhaps just do it 3 days before his SA and that'll be before your smear too. How's things going with the lap? Are you waiting to see if you get the referral to gynae or have you got it and waiting for a date to be seen by gynae?

I'm still waiting on AF, cheeky mare was meant to come yesterday but she's holding bk on me. Not pregnant as tested at 10 and 12dpo and no point wasting anymore frer!
The buserelin is defo causing delays but it doesn't really matter I guess. First scan is on Monday, just hope I'm not cd2 then as that's always the worst day for heaviness and pain! Plus I'm getting jabbed on Sunday so in case I feel rough from that, Monday won't be a fun day!

Af arrived this morning so will be starting injections on 3rd June! It’s amazing how upbeat I’m feeling for cd1!! 😬 I’m sure the witch will knock the stuffing out of me before long though! 😂

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah I would keep it relaxed this month! It’s always nice to have a month when you’re not having to constantly track every single thing going on and dtd to schedule!

@notyetamumbuttrying ooh do they still scan if you’re on your period? That sounds messy! 😟 I might have to get tampons instead of my mooncup if that’s the case. It’s like a bloodbath when I take it out! 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying I had my baseline scan on cd2 this week and she said not to worry she's seen it all! It wasn't very pleasant as it was a very heavy day for me but it got done.
@Crazydoglady123 next scan on Monday, judging by last time I'm not expecting a huge amount of growth at that stage, the Wednesday scan will tell me more I think. Then again last time all but one of my follicles were empty so not sure how much I can take comfort from good sized follicles on a scan!

@Crazydoglady123 omg imagine 😱 😍 oh and AF came literally after I posted that msg so only a day late! I've treated myself to a coop meal deal and Kit Kat 😂 still have horrible period pain, despite the lap 😞
@crazycatlady1981 yeah they'll scan you on your period, they must be used to it as it's always then on long protocol. Haha yes I would! I'll be cd4 so should be light by then 🤞🏾

@Crazydoglady123 sorry MN has stopped emailing me again when I'm tagged. 🙄 I think it was 8 days after the trigger i tested. I meant to do a week but forgot. 🤣 Apparently it depends on your metabolism as to how fast you lose it. I've no idea if they give the same amount for IVF or if the dose differs. Theoretically in my head it should be the same but I don't know. Fingers crossed for you!

@notyetamumbuttrying we will try and do it around things but aware it prob won't happen this month anyway lol I was referred to gynaecology back in March but having to wait until around nov for an actual appointment, hopefully it'll come through earlier but who knows! That's just for a phone appt first though, I assume they'll be reading my docs notes which will say suspected endo so 🤞🏻 they'll then put me on the list for a lap.

I got to the end of the last thread thinking oh 4 pages of messages to catch up on isn't that bad then got to this 1 and saw 6 more pages! so I apologise I haven't read all the latest gossip and caught up on where everyone is at yet!

I have some good news RE Laparoscopy - its booked for 26th May!

I've had quite an eventful time dealing with declines in my health and requesting to reduce my hours at work due to this. I'm still in my probationary period and let's just say that I'm mentally preparing myself to not have a job as things aren't going well but I need to put my health first!

That's okay @paintfairy. It's now 14 days since I had the trigger and apparently most people's it'd left by transfer but the guide says it can stay up to 14days still having strong positives and line progression so I think I can comfortably let myself believe now it is a BFP ☺️ When's your next IUI starting?

Congratulations @Crazydoglady123 that's amazing news! Unfortunately it's my physical health as well so I'm really left without much choice. Work haven't said no but they aren't exactly being forthcoming. I've got an appointment with OH on Tuesday as the report they sent is not very helpful.

Oh god knows. They never rang me. When they can be bothered it seems? I'm away in June so July I'm guessing. If they feel they can make the effort.....

@Crazydoglady123 I'm so pleased for you! They are expensive but cheaper than buying two separate ones haha because my teenagers were close together - just over a year, we had a great one 'Phil and teds' best thing I ever bought for them as it could be a ingle or a double!

I'm so excited - I got my referral letter!! I thought it was the scan appt coming through but no it's an actual referral letter at an actual hospital with and actual doctor at the end of august! Which I know is still a while off but it's a whole lot better than a phone appt in November!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker thank you. I took proxeed and 400mg of co-enzyme q10 a few months leading up to ivf. On stims I ate shit loads of protein 🤣 Then after egg collection I started on pineapple on an empty stomach, Brazil nuts and Pom juice. I've also done acupuncture throughout and before and after transfer. I also pushed for progesterone levels to be checked (my clinic don't do them as standard on first cycle) but as mine dropped on the second test I had the progesterone injections added in. I'm going to pay for BETA bloods next week and also ask for my progesterone to be checked one more time. But on a serious note to all you ladies starting ivf other than sore, veiny boobs I've had no symptoms, no implantation cramps, no implantation spotting so having nothing doesn't always mean it's failed. Definitely fingers crossed for some more BFPs on here ❤️

@paintfairy can you call and chase them at all? He who shouts loudest and all that...

@Marvellouslymadmum that's true! I was looking at the Bugaboo Donkey and it's like £1500 😱 Yaaaaayyyyyy! You're finally at the next stage! For me things moved quickly after that! Is this with infertility or regarding the lap?

@Crazydoglady123 nope. You have to ring cd1 and see if they call you back that cycle. So by the time they don't, its too late anyway. Makes it impossible to plan anything for the year! Ridiculous. I've decided to just do what I'm doing. I can't put my life on hold for when they might call back. Right now I'm done with it to be honest. DH is pissing me off too. Maybe it's not meant to be, for the right reasons.

This is just infertility but the gp said when I go there to tell them everything plus they'll have the nots so hopefully they will then get me booked in for a lap!

I had an awful nights sleep last night. Woke up in pain and had to take codeine and ibuprofen to ease it. I can't believe my periods are still bad! Will be letting the consultant know when we next talk.

@Crazydoglady123 yes you have to have 3 before you are referred to the ivf clinic. So it's a pain really. It's going to drag on forever. But just don't plan anything all year in case they decide to do it, is ridiculous. I'm trying to plan round my cycles (bearing in mind they aren't set in stone) but I left may clear and then they didn't do it anyway. 🤷‍♀️ I suppose they think you are desperate so will just put your year on hold but it's not exactly practical.
