**@thislittlebird I asked them to email me the results and she just sent me the letter from the clinic rather than the actual report but it actually says on the clinic letter 'as you can see from the report the semen analysis was shown to be entirely normal' so I'm thinking it's probably ok to trust what the clinic have written as it's sussex downs and they're pretty reputable. @notyetamumbuttrying I was pretty shocked actually, I expected something to be low or slow or something from what he's said in the past and the fact he only gave up smoking 6 weeks before and just started eating healthier and exercising but no! And now he thinks he's a king 😂

@Crazydoglady123 thank you, yes hopefully I'll get help once I homegrown to the gynae because they know there's something not right now. Amazing news that you're officially onto the nhs now, so happy for you!

@thislittlebird I gave up posting new threads and ended up joining some instead cos I found no one ever replied to me lol. I may ask for the results of my oh anyway just to be sure!! Hopefully your complaint will be dealt with quickly, sometimes they're a lot quicker than the time they allow 🤞🏻 if they get that sorted and give you your funding that would at least be a good outcome
@Marvellouslymadmum I would get the full results in writing just in case, did they send them? Our breakdown of SA results were in another part of the system they had to access.

I really hope the complaint outcome is positive. I’m so worried about getting into some sort of dispute with them.

And yep, no one replies to threads, it’s annoying. I had to google old ones, although one person did actually reply now.

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/06/2021 17:11

@Crazydoglady123 🙈 noooooo to telling me how it is 😂 (joking). Well let's see if I get to otd with a bfp or not, and then it'll be a new few weeks of torture 😆 I'm not sure how I'll bloody cope if pregnancy does occur, I'm a wreck 🤪 I'm just not up for seeing a bfn so the longer I can put that off the better!

@polejunkie thank you 😊
Covid is a dick!! They said Dh couldn't come in for transfer and that he had to wait in the cafe downstairs. He came up and no one said anything. He just waited in the waiting area. You could try the same?!

Marvellouslymadmum · 09/06/2021 22:53

@thislittlebird I was thinking I may still ask for them, I think they sent them through to the gp ok as the letter says, as you will see from the report so I'll see if I can get them to send that through.

When will you find out the results if his next sa? With any luck the complaint will be dealt with quickly for you and you get your nhs funding. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying I do hope you find something to distract yourself, it must be so hard to keep your mind off it, I can't even imagine!

crazycatlady1981 · 10/06/2021 06:55

Morning all! Af arrived this morning, so I’ll get to have my baseline scan on Monday! Yay! Just hoping I’ve still got a reasonable amount of follicles!! 🤞🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying I can’t imagine how nerve wracking it must be in the tww!! Not long now though! 🤞🏻 Sounds like a good idea to make some plans for the weekend and the time should whizz by!

@Narwhal88 glad that everything went well yesterday! 😊

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2021 09:12

Thanks @Marvellouslymadmum I think ask for them too, just to double check!
@crazycatlady1981 whoop, I'm sure you will. Keep us posted! Yes I'll go to my parents I think, spoke to my sister and she's around too so will do the rounds!

@narwhal88 whens your transfer?

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2021 10:12

@Annny27 thanks 😆 yes, keeping busy is key!
Shame you feel like you're coming on, highly frustrating!! Remind me where you're up to with investigations etc?

@notyetamumbuttrying been waiting for a laproscopy for a few months now and seems it will be a while wait 😭 tempted to go private (around 3-4k)

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2021 12:16

@Annny27 ouch, it's expensive isn't it! Do you know how long you'll wait until you go private?

Just wondered if there is any advice or anyone in the same boat?
TTC first for 18 months nothing wrong with us in the fertility test all normal had hycosy I feel I want to carry trying naturally but is there anything else they can give us to help is there anymore options to assist naturally wondered if they would still give clomid to increase chances even tho ovulation was fine? We're on the vitamins and both healthy not overweight or anything trying to do all the suggested stuff but just wondering what could be next for us still awaiting next appointment with Dr x

Juno231 · 10/06/2021 13:40

@Luluspies IUI could be an option but the success rates aren't great - especially if you have unexplained infertility. Bear in mind just because the tests aren't revealing a problem it doesn't mean that everything is working as it should, there's plenty of stuff they can't test for. I'd crack with the funding for IVF when they let you as it all takes a while to get sorted and just try naturally in the meantime. FYI I'm in the same boat as you - unexplained infertility on cycle 19.

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2021 13:47

@Luluspies how old are you both? Welcome btw! 👋🏾

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker ooh exciting to start stims!! It's all go go from there onwards! Good going on the acupuncture and medical leave, you defo need to look after yourself during this time! I get stressed thinking about being stressed too! 🤪
I'm ok, still getting cramps and twinges so don't know what to think really. Just don't want to let everyone down at mo. I'll be testing before next Thursday, probably Tuesday.

Luluspies · 10/06/2021 14:54

Thanks guys I'm 38 and my husband is 41 the Drs said could be environmental factors so try eliminating them such as we work nights and are age obviously I can't do much about either 😂

thislittlebird · 10/06/2021 14:58

@Luluspies we’re a similar age and been trying a similar time, but we do have poor test results. I have wondered about the nights thing. My husband works nights off and on, I’ve wondered if it has an impact. Anyway, he’s just got a new job and can stop doing nights so it would be great if it made a difference. We’ll see.

Luluspies · 10/06/2021 20:10

@thislittlebird yes me to there is mixed research about night shift work and fertility so who knows! Good luck to you hope the new job does help things along for you! They offered me IVF but I really wanted it to happen on its own so feel I want to wait a little bit longer x

thislittlebird · 10/06/2021 20:49

@Luluspies I wish they’d offer me ivf 😭. I’m having to fight tooth and nail for it, I’m very ready!

Luluspies · 10/06/2021 20:54

@thislittlebird @hy havent they? If you don't mind me asking I feel very mixed up not sure how I feel about it obviously I would do it but always thought of it as a last resort surely there is more things to try to help things along naturally!

thislittlebird · 10/06/2021 20:57

@Luluspies they claim we’re unexplained infertiles and need to wait until it’s been 3 years. Doesn’t make sense to me when husband has 9% motility and I have very low progesterone (10). I’m challenging this decision, have submitted a formal complaint with two private doctor letters saying we’re not unexplained. I thought unexplained was when you have no suboptimal results, but we both have them Confused

Luluspies · 10/06/2021 21:03

@thislittlebirdes I don't blame you there it doesn't seem a very fair process for you sometimes you have to really push these things, I was wondering if they give clomid to improve chances I no it's normally given for people who done ovulate but heard of some getting it anyway to help things along I don't know you read so much online it's hard to understand what's going on x

thislittlebird · 10/06/2021 22:46

@Luluspies they usually do ovulation induction and iui as alternatives (if you have normal results anyway). My understanding is clomid etc isn’t as effective for women who already ovulate normally so they don’t love giving it out. Except I’ve not been offered it at all and I possibly don’t ovulate properly. Seems very hit and miss how treatment is offered.
