@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker good luck for the scan! It is hard when work is all consuming. It's good you've got the days off there if needed. No relaxation tips from me, I just watch tv 😂
@polejunkie lol sounds similar to me! I was on 300 menopur which is relatively high I think.
@thislittlebird thanks hun x
@Yutes heya, this journey is tough so don't worry. I've not had a hycosy but I've heard it's not too bad, best of luck with it!
@Juno231 I've had pineapple core today and nearly a whole one yesterday lol! Finished the Pom juice last night but don't reckon I'll buy anymore. Need to eat some Brazil nuts next! I hadn't had a maccers in about 18 months, it was glorious! Yay to the 17th June, come on!!
@Marvellouslymadmum oh darling, at least you know now and they'll defo sort a lap ASAP now! I'd recommend looking at the files on the endo group as they talk about adeno too. If you can't find the right files, do a post asking and Marcia or Linda will respond 😘

@notyetamumbuttrying glad you're doing ok, I'm going to have a good look through, doing lots of googling at the moment and trying to find out as much as I can. I hope they do a lap now I don't want to have to argue about it!

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/06/2021 11:33

@Marvellouslymadmum I don't see how they could deny you now. Best of luck hun! X

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 11:36

@notyetamumbuttrying hopefully not!! Still got to wait until against to even find out though so will carry on knowing it probably won't happen by still ttc if I ever get ovulation on this cycle lol

Sjhigs · 07/06/2021 12:04

@Sjhigs not sure what you mean by "quotes for prescriptions"? Do you mean vitamins and supplements for ttc? Is this male or female or both?

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 14:17

17th is gonna be epic hopefully!

@sjhigs what kind of prescriptions? whatever it is you're looking for you can usually google the name + buy and see what it costs via private prescription

crazycatlady1981 · 07/06/2021 16:05

Aah I start stims on 16th!! 😬 I’m the odd one out! 😂 can’t believe how many people are starting next week and how exciting it’s going to be!! 💕

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry to hear about the results! That sucks! Hope you are ok.
In anti inflammatory terms, turmeric, ginger and liquorice are all antiinflams so I tend to drink them in herbal teas. You could add fresh ginger or turmeric to foods too. My acupuncturist recommended super 6/7 mushroom supplements which are supposed to be good for inflammation, immune system, anti oxidant etc. I never got around to buying them as they upped my already enormous supplement bill, but kinda wish I’d tried them out now!
Fingers crossed for your getting a lap asap!!

@Sjhigs I’ve read that Asda is supposed to be good for prescriptions and also the fertility medication centre. It’s best to phone around a few places and get quotes as they can differ quite a lot apparently!

crazycatlady1981 · 07/06/2021 16:07

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I’ve ordered some books from a favourite author which usually keep me enthralled when I get into one, so that’s my relaxation sorted along with some walks in the forest and a few girly box sets!! 😊

Sjhigs · 07/06/2021 16:48

@notyetamumbuttrying for my ivf drugs
@crazycatlady1981 cheapest I've got is just over 1800 but my first quote was 2500 so il maybe just go with that il try that medication centre before I pop it through Thankyou x

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 17:37

@crazycatlady1981 thank you, I'm making a list of all things that may help. Mediterranean diet etc and going shopping tomorrow

Sjhigs · 07/06/2021 19:44

@crazycatlady1981 do you know anyone who has used fertility medication centre? X

Narwhal88 · 07/06/2021 20:15

@Crazydoglady123 oh wow yes Dec is definitely going to be expensive for you! So exciting though! No they never tested my progesterone but I never bled until days after I stopped all meds and I was on 2x cyclogest and 2x Lubion injections so I don't think I could even be on more progesterone! They are going to test the day before transfer this time though as it seems to be standard for a FET.

@notyetamumbuttrying so pleased for you with your little embaby and lots of Frosties! Keep those feet warm and keep hydrated! I drank so much Pom juice 😂 a glass a day for like 3 weeks. Think I'll add Brazil nuts this time as well!

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry to hear about your adeno. I have it too (they think), though I asked the nurse during stims and she said it was only a small amount. I'm going to push for a lap at my endo clinic appt in august. I have seen lots of women get pregnant with it though so it can't always be that bad. I had a right panic attack when I first found out but I'm trying to be positive and hope it doesn't affect it too much.

CycleGirl20 · 07/06/2021 20:28

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry to hear about your news. It sounds like there are some good suggestions for diet and so on on here and fingers crossed for your next steps.

I phoned my doctor this morning and she's referred us to the clinic. I've not been to the clinic with the NHS yet so I don't know what it will involve.

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 20:35

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry if I missed it but did you have an update today on the remaining blasts?

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/06/2021 21:13

@Narwhal88 aw thank you 😊 feet are wrapped in a blanket as we speak! Started on the Brazil nuts earlier. When are you getting going again?
@CycleGirl20 yay, glad you're being referred now! It'll be blood tests and transvaginal scan for you and a semen analysis for him.
@Juno231 yes I did, so the remaining 4 didn't make it 😢 so it's 3 frozen and one in me. I was a bit gutted earlier but fine now, really pleased that we have ones ready to go as and when needed! How's your lap recovery going?

OP posts:
crazycatlady1981 · 07/06/2021 22:07

@Sjhigs I’ve only heard of it through an ivf group I’m in on Facebook. A few people have recommended it because it’s a lot cheaper than other pharmacies so I bookmarked it just in case I needed to buy meds for another round.

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 22:39

@Narwhal88 ahh I thought I remembered someone else mentioning it before! Yes apparently like 1 in 10 women have it so it definitely doesn't affect everyone's fertility, I just hope that's the case with me as we've been ttc 3 years! But I'm just throwing even more effort at ttc than I was before and hoping! I won't know how bad mine is or anything until I get my gynae appt in august but hopefully they'll be helpful! Thank you @CycleGirl20 yes I'll be following the good suggestions apart from the 🐠 fishes lol

@notyetamumbuttrying aww sorry about your other embryos but hopefully you won't even need them!

CycleGirl20 · 07/06/2021 22:56

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry to hear about your remaining blasts. 3 frosties and one implanted is great though

We've had the bloods and semen. I think I've had more physical contact with that vaginal ultrasound machine than I have with any human being other than my partner in the last 12 months! It's just all been privately through medical cover for specific issues (fibroids/period pain from fibroids) so the NHS fertility clinic will be new to me
