Congratulations @notyetamumbuttrying that is amazing!! Crossing everything for you for the 17th :D

polejunkie · 06/06/2021 17:35

@notyetamumbuttrying yay! You must be pleased, I know you were apprehensive - let’s count down until test day 🙂

@Narwhal88 completely understand why you took a break, absolutely the right thing to do, mental health definitely takes a battering during this process, I hope you’re ok.

I’m 12 days in to down regs now, my withdrawal bleed came yesterday (3 days later than expected AF) headaches are savage - I’ve had a wobble this weekend, bit overwhelmed tbh but plodding along!

Hope you have all had relaxing weekends x

Aimzie · 06/06/2021 17:44

@notyetamumbuttrying congratulations beautiful I'm so happy for you, fingers crossed all goes smoothly for you ❤️❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/06/2021 18:42

@PeanutButterBrownies thank you hun! How you getting on?
@polejunkie very pleased! Ah the headaches are savage aren't they! They'll ease up once you start stimming. Your scan must be soon then or you've had it already and I missed it? It is overwhelming, but all you can do is plod along. You'll get there honey x
@Aimzie thank you gorgeous 😊 hope you're keeping well x

polejunkie · 06/06/2021 19:03

@notyetamumbuttrying nope not missed it, I’m on down regs for 21 days so no scan for over a week yet 🙄 looooooong protocol lol

CycleGirl20 · 06/06/2021 20:06

@notyetamumbuttrying that's super news! Exciting times! How was it?

@polejunkie oh right! Defo a long protocol then, how comes? Sorry, you've prob already said but brain like a sieve so forgive me!
@CycleGirl20 it was ok apart from dying for the loo!!
@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker ooh best of luck for that then! That's my otd so here's hoping it's a lucky date!!
EC was ok on the whole. I wfh and my hospital isn't far so it's minimal travelling which helps things. Luckily work wasn't too busy last week and I had it right after the BH so work wasn't on my mind as much. Do you have a job where you can wfh?

@notyetamumbuttrying yay! So happy to hear that you are pupo and have a few in the freezer as well! Good stuff!! 💕
Do you have to do transfer with a full bladder then??? 😕

@Marvellouslymadmum good luck for your results tomorrow!

@Narwhal88 yep I think there’s quite a few of us on here with ECs or transfers around end of June/early July!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker That’s exciting about your ivf. Are you doing long or short protocol? I’m starting stims on 16th! Currently down-regging! I’ve decided to take a couple of weeks off roughly from stims, but I’m self employed, so although it will take the work stress away, I won’t make any money during that time! It’s a difficult one! I’d rather not have any pressures of working though as I get stressed out quite easily!

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/06/2021 21:40

@crazycatlady1981 thank you 😊 well it needs to be about half full but mine fills so easily so a cup of tea and some Pom juice and it was full! They were 45 minutes late in the end so I was in complete agony, plus I needed no2 too so I was almost sweating 😓 and wailed when she pressed on my stomach. She had to ease up as I was nearly crying, my eyes were shut and I was holding onto the equipment 😂 I must've been such a sight!!
Yay to starting stims soon, it feels very real by then!

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/06/2021 23:23

@Juno231 I suppose it could be yes! I'll carry on with the temps and opk and we what happens!

@crazycatlady1981 thank you, I'll either be jumping around or sulking all day tomorrow haha

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I cross stitch and find that totally takes my mind off things, listening to audiobooks is good too - no chance for the mind to wander!

polejunkie · 07/06/2021 07:03

@notyetamumbuttrying I honestly have no idea 😂 there’s obviously so many different approaches! Low AMH I think, although not really low (7.6) maybe they are wanting to completely suppress my cycle and stim the shit outta me for max no of mature eggs - no one has gone into any detail other than ‘high dose of meds’ ‘low reserve’ 🤷🏼‍♀️ I hope you feel positive over your tww wait x

Nice to see there’s a few of us going through this at a similar time though 🙂 hopefully I’ll be all done and dusted this time next month - in the TWW all being well!!

thislittlebird · 07/06/2021 07:54

Me too @Juno231, but not a surprise Hmm

@notyetamumbuttrying great news, fingers crossed for ten days time!

Yutes · 07/06/2021 09:24

Hi all. Sorry I’ve been quiet. I am lurking and seeing how you are all doing.
I guess I’m just a bit down with it all. I’m on my 3rd working letrozole cycle and i guess I thought it would all have worked by now 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m booked for a hycosy in July. I’m a bit scared of the test and a bit scared it could be not so great news. But I need to try.
Baby dust to all.

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 09:35

@notyetamumbuttrying are you doing anything in particular during this TWW? Drowning in pom juice and pineapples? I saw the pic of your mcdonalds and was so jealous!

Let's hope the 17th is a lucky date as that's when I've got my next fertility appt! Lots of us with things going on that day :)

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 09:36

Had my call with the doc this morning, she said oh's sa results weren't in that she could see but it's been nearly 3 weeks so I'm going to get him to call in a bit to check. For my scan results, she couldn't see my ovaries, said there was a lot of gas 🙈 but no fluid or makes or anything which is good, it was right at the time I should've ovulated but as I've still not ovulated yet I'm guessing that could be to do with it and explains why she said she couldn't say when I asked her if I'd ovulated yet! BUT the she did say I have adenomyosis 😞 which explains a lot of the pain etc I've been having and infertility, it also often goes hand in hand with endo so likelihood is both, it means the gynae should hopefully send me straight for a lap to see if there is any endo or fibroids as they're both common with adeno and removal of fibroids can help ease symptoms. But from my little bit of Googling so far I've found the infertility issues mean I'm likely very inflamed (all anti-inflammatory suggestions welcome here) also explains the high inflammatory factors I had in my blood tests, that does not help implantation and often implantation is very difficult with adeno anyway and there's basically a lot stopping me from getting pregnant including travel issues for the dperm and egg and if I do manage by some miracle to get pg there's a higher risk of mc or not going to term 😢 sorry for the ramble and downer post I just don't know what to do now!

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 09:41

@Marvellouslymadmum oof I'm sorry about the adenomyosis and suspected inflammation :/ I'd try clean eating tbh - dairy, gluten, simple carbs are all inflammatory (+caffeine, alcohol). Did your temp stay low today btw?

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 09:46

@Juno231 thank you, that's my next plan - think it'll mean a diet of just veggies but hey ho! My temp went even lower than it was so deffo no ovulation yet

thislittlebird · 07/06/2021 10:03

@Marvellouslymadmum seems a bit slow on his results? What sort of scan did you have? Sorry to hear about he adenomyosis. A lap seems like a good idea to get some answers. I’m wondering if you had this before, since you have children already, or if it’s developed?

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 10:25

@thislittlebird he's going to ring in a bit and see what's going on with his results, I'm hoping a lap may help. I've had a bit of a google so far and there's a bit of mystery about how it developes, some say it's a gene thing and some say it can happen after trauma to the womb and I had two c-sections but most women don't get diagnosed until they're 40-50 so if it gets worse or not I don't know! I had an ultrasound and internal ultrasound and it was diagnosed on the internal. I'd read before that they could only diagnose properly from examining the womb after a hysterectomy but after my google I found that was the case previously but they can now diagnose from an mri or internal ultrasound.
