@Crazydoglady123 trigger was fine, had a headaches within minutes tho. Today I'm so sore and uncomfortable. I need to clean and can't seem to bend over so Dh is doing the bathroom now. That's usually my room (we halve up the flat for cleaning). I've put a wash on and that's all I'm capable of doing lol! Need to wash my hair today! Can you remember feeling really uncomfortable? How's early pregnancy? Any symptoms yet?

@notyetamumbuttrying it's a good sign that! Means your follicles are responding well. I didn't have any side effects from the trigger I just felt very uncomfortable in my pelvic area towards the end. EC was a relief! Take it easy and rest today if you can. What time is EC tomorrow?
I'm okay thanks. Nothing major just super tired and every night up through the night needing to pee 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying we also have different rooms to clean haha - mines bathroom and upstairs and his is kitchen and downstairs (I think I have the best deal :p)

Yeah it must be with uncomfortable with any pre EC bloat!

@MIW01 does IVF start next cycle? Any soreness after the lap?

Period on honeymoon sucks, where are you going? We still haven’t had ours and now ivf is kinda putting paid to that.

@notyetamumbuttrying I am worried about the headache potential of ivf. I get hormonal migraines so I anticipate it being terrible. How has it been so far?

@Crazydoglady123 hope so! A few were lagging in size so hope they're all above 18 now and get collected! I washed my hair at least so that's done for tomorrow. Need to head out to get some bits from coop and may as well walk along the river for some sun on my face on this glorious day! It's 9am
Tired and getting up doesn't sound fun but good to have symptoms all the same right!

@thislittlebird down regging gave me headaches in the first week but then they went. It was just a brief headache after yesterday's trigger. Sounds wonderful! Enjoy 😊

@thislittlebird that sucks not getting your honeymoon! Where were you supposed to go? We are going on a mini tour of Italy, Venice for 3 nights, then an Airbnb in tuscany for 4 nights, 2 nights in Florence and final night in Rome (mostly because we couldn't get a flight back from Florence). We are taking trains between cities so hopefully get to see some more lovely countryside on the journey. We will still go if they are Amber come July but it will be a bit of a pain.

@thislittlebird I also get hormonal headaches, though not a migraine for a while until this weekend. I've had a headache for two days and just had to throw up. Having said that I had no issues with any of my ivf drugs and headaches

Omg your honeymoon sounds amaze balls! We got engaged close to Rome, went there first and then drove to the coast where he proposed so I bloody love that whole area! You'll have a fab time!! Hope you get to go 🤞🏾

@Marvellouslymadmum I’m feeling a mixture of excited & terrified at the moment! I think once the first injection’s done, I’ll feel better, it’s a fear of the unknown at the moment!
I use Femometer strips and they seem pretty reliable.

@Motherofkittens28 sorry that af arrived early, so irritating when that happens. Do your cycles usually vary? I sometimes have a long one after a short one, so perhaps the next one will push it back a few days. 🤞🏻 Your honeymoon plans sound lovely! I went to Florence for a wedding a few years ago and it was amazing! Such a beautiful place!

I have a ubiquinol question - do you take
It through the whole month? I was trying to work out dosage earlier abs came accross this article which had some interesting info in it. The one I have is the extra absorbent kanaka ubiquinol so wondering if 200mg will be enough, the pills are huge! And I got the 100mg ones as 200 were oos so I'd have to take 4 a day for 400mg 😂

@Marvellouslymadmum thank you! I take it throughout the whole month. Recently switched from 100mg to 200mg ones. Wasn't sure on taking 400mg so just stuck with 200mg for now. Keep meaning to ask the doc but keep forgetting! X

@crazycatlady1981 no, my cycles are always 27 days, regular as clockwork, this one was 23 days. It can only be the ivf thats caused it, in the first round my body was trying to have a period from 4 days post transfer, so around the same time but the progesterone held the full bleed back until my normal day 27 when the spotting turned to full flow. I spotted 5 or 6 days before that happened though. I've ordered some norithesterone (probably haven't spelt that correctly) to try and delay my period for this new cycle so it shifts everything by 5 days but is as far away as possible from my monitoring cycle.
You really will be an old hand at the injections after 2 days I would say, you get used to it very quickly!

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm thinking I'll go with 200mg at the moment as that's two huge tablets then next time I order I'll get the 200mg if they're back in stock! Then I can take one or two. That article I shared said if they're the more absorbable ones then it can be ubiquinol or coq10 ubiquinone and you don't need as much if it! 🤞🏻

@Marvellouslymadmum I’m taking 200mg because the cost of 400 for me and then him as well would be ridiculous (also, check your DMs, I’m being a nuisance in them 😩)

@Motherofkittens28 Italy sounds great, we discussed doing something similar but ended up deciding to do long haul to Canada. But we never got round to booking it because Covid hit, then we eventually got married in October and haven’t booked anything abroad since because ttc troubles struck 🤪

That’s really interesting about the headaches. I hate the ones where you throw up, awful. Hope you feel better now, I know it can help sometimes. I’ve been fretting about migraines + ivf. I used to get one per month, sometimes two if I got one around ovulation. Then my periods went all haywire last summer and didn’t get back to normal until maybe February this year. In that time I got much fewer migraines than normal and less severe ones. Had my first ovulation migraine in months and months this cycle, I wish I knew what causes them, I always assume it’s the drop off in hormones. I’ve assumed ivf will make them go crazy. Did you raise that you get them with your ivf consultant?

@Motherofkittens28 you can actually get something for that! norethisterone from the GP. I got offered it before my honeymoon. It just basically delays it. I didn't need to use it but know people who have.

@motherofkittens28 oh yes deffo delay! I was on the last drags of my period on my wedding day haha. Was a bit paranoid about leakage in a white dress but luckily was just the last days of spotting thank goodness

@Crazydoglady123 they suggested icsi even tho the sperm was good...something to do with the fact that it wasn't good last year. Odd huh! I just said yeah go for it!
