I spoke to the GP yesterday and she's confirmed that as soon as she's received the post Lap report my referral for IVF will be sent so it'll be 3 weeks to get the funding confirmed and a maximum of 3 months until we're seen

@MIW01 not bad timeframes then! Similar to mine and I started sooner so hope the same for you too ♥️

@MIW01 it's been a tough week but I think im getting through. My Dr has just signed me off for four weeks with stress due to the ivf, infertility, work etc. I feel so guilty but they've been trying to sign me off since January and I've been resisting, now I feel like I really need it. Hopefully not having work to deal with will help me get back on my feet.

@Motherofkittens28 not having the stress from work will defo help! Hope you get to relax a bit. Do all the things that make you happy ♥️

@Motherofkittens28 hang in there, you obviously need a little time out - now that decision has been made try to relax, it’s out of your hands now, focus on you x

I really empathise @Motherofkittens28 sometimes work stress is the straw that breaks the camel's back and stress has such a negative impact on fertility stuff. So unfortunately my work situation has now ended up getting very messy and I've involved the Union amd am seeking legal advice so I'm glad to have been signed off for 2 weeks to recover from the surgery.

@MIW01 oh no, that sounds awful, I really hope you get the resolution you need. I'm lucky in that work have been very understanding, my job is just super stressful at the best of times and its been way worse since lockdown when my company made a load of people redundant. I feel very guilty but I'm looking forward to being able to relax!

@crazycatlady1981 I’m ok ta, bit restless at night (hot flushes) and slightly sore boobs, but no different to when I’m due on 🤷🏼‍♀️ Im drinking lots to try and avoid the headaches, seems to be working so far! How are you?

Saw a urologist (Mr Ramsay) this week, seeing an ivf doc at the lister next week. Husband is going for tests and scans so that’s good. Hoping to try to improve the issues before we get to ICSI.

@Marvellouslymadmum I’ve got to book a smear, glad yours was ok

@notyetamumbuttrying how are your ovaries feeling? Good luck for your scan today?

@Marvellouslymadmum the more time that's gone on I'm less doubtful as I don't have that many symptoms 😔

@MIW01 I've heard lots of people the funding be approved and you start quick so fingers crossed it's soon 🤞Sorry to hear about your work. That's added stress you don't need.

@Motherofkittens28 I think the time off work will really help you and take some pressure off. Hope it's forecast nice weather where you are too like it is here so you can chill in the sunshine

@crazycatlady1981 how are you finding the meds?

@polejunkie I'm okay thanks. Not a lot different just mainly tired. Hating the Prontogest injections (although thankful they're every 3 days). They really hurt after and I get massive hard lumps on my bum and bruises. How many days into your down regs are you now?

@Crazydoglady123 only 4 and I know this is the easiest bit haha! Just glad I’ve started, this time last week I wasn’t even sure I’d get my meds in time!
Prontogest sounds painful, how long you got to take it for? I guess in IVF terms you’re on the home straight now if all continues going well? X

AF showed yesterday so I'm just a bit confused /shocked as that gives me my shortest cycle since I started tracking and only a 9 day LP... I guess the lap and extra tube flush still didn't do the trick!

@polejunkie bet you're so relieved that it's started at least! It's exciting. I'm excited for you all! When's your baseline scan?
They are horrible these injections. They're big, meaty and intra muscular so have to go in my bum which means trusting someone else to do them as I physically can't. Them and the pessaries which just make you feel gross all of the time 🙄 My clinic stops at 10 weeks and I'll be 6 weeks next week. My private scan is on Wednesday and then my clinics scan is the Tuesday after

@Juno231 sorry AF showed, maybe it’ll settle back down next cycle, Perhaps the lap affected things this time round?

@Crazydoglady123 woah! They look mean! Still at least they aren’t every day 😬 you’ll be looked after a little while longer then - excited for your scan? 🤗 my baseline scan is ages away - 16th June, just hope the down regulation does its thing 🤞🏼

@Motherofkittens28 I think that will be really good for you, try not to worry they will cope without you. I used to have a high stress job and it wasn't until I eventually took the plunge and left to start my own business that I realised how bad it was for me!

@thislittlebird it was actually really quick and simple compared to the last one I had, think they've simplified due to Covid!

We have growth! 1 stubborn one wouldn't come along so it's 10 in the running and the trigger injection is tomorrow night and EC is booked for Tuesday morning 😬 embryo transfer could be next Sunday!

I'm ok trundling one trying to dtd every other day because I haven't got a clue where ovulation is! My cb opk didn't turn up in time to start using this month so I've used strips 🙄 which has given me the same sort of patterns as usual - slowly raising to high then dropping back down then up again then peak yesterday cd21 then down again so thought I was ovulating yesterday/today but my temps look like a heart beat monitor up down up down up down and down again today 🤷🏼‍♀️ soooo could be in for another long wtf is happening cycle
