Morning ladies! How was Saturday off work @kaylsd ? Did the gin and cheesecake go down a treat? I ended up in school all bloody day trying to get caught up and still no joy! How was seeing baby niece? Maybe all the cuddles will wake your ovaries up!?

I had pretty much all the months covered off @minthumbugs
The one with the 🐝🐝🐝 said August, another said spring months, one had the dates of my miscarriage and I've had Sep/Oct/Dec/Jan 😂🤣 I'll take anything though!

Trying to slog through that It Starts with The Egg book but it's heavy going. Went on a low AMH group and a few people did say it had helped them boost their numbers and get pregnant. Still trying to work out whether we should pay for next steps. Waiting times seem crazy for appointments here and meanwhile I feel my fertility fading!
I'm not sure about Santa Kayls but maybe jumping around the house singing I do believe in fairies, I do, I do could help 🤣😂 Count me in for the pep talk! ✨💫✨💫

@CycloGoose
Thanks for setting up the new thread, let’s hope we all graduate on this one 😁.
AF seems to be turning up early, I had some spotting on 12 DPO and a BFN 😞. Just waiting for AF and then onto a new month. Means I might be able to have a glass of wine for FILs birthday today.

minthumbugs · 09/05/2021 09:34

Oh thanks @CycloGoose, you're a star! May/June already 😩 Ok so basically any time this year for you, that will do 🤣 is there anything useful in the book so far? Totally unfair that you have to do so much waiting - oh not until after 12 months but also you have to be put on a waiting list now! I had some tests done after my MC which I was very grateful for (no idea what they were!), but it's been 4 months now and heard nothing. Whatever the result is, it would be nice just to not have it hanging over my head anymore. X

And @kaylsd love the ovary pep talk, think all my bits need a good talking to! Hope you enjoyed the cuddles and cheesecake 🥰

Surely statistics say this has to be a lucky thread for at least one of us?! Sprinkling baby dust all over the place ✨✨✨✨

minthumbugs · 09/05/2021 09:35

Oh hi @Kitty0389 sorry I missed your message. Sorry to hear that 😩 was it a sensitive test? Enjoy your wine and hopefully next cycle is the one. X x

Kitty0389 · 09/05/2021 09:42

@minthumbugs yes it was a FRER... never mind. Also been told no further referral to gynaecology as it’s not been 12months... just keep going and keep fingers crossed. OH is getting his SA this week, so we will know in the next few weeks for that at least.
Could you call up and ask for the results from 4 months ago, although guessing if they were off they would have let you know? You would hope...

kaylsd · 09/05/2021 11:56

Loving the new thread name ladies! I feel like we are apart of the OG group now no doubt I won't be going anywhere anytime soon ;)

@CycloGoose I’ve had a lovely weekend off work! Dreading going back tomorrow already got a couple of issues I need to iron out with the management, never a good feeling when your already thinking about work before your even at work! I’m tempted to dabble in another fertility reading... I’m gutted they’ve not come to light anytime soon but it’s the summer of love for me so hoping for great things! Loved the gin and cheesecake, found myself content with life with the pooch last night watching how to loose a guy in 10 days, partial to a chickflick! How’s the book coming along? Worth a read? Do they recommend diet and lifestyle changes? I never even knew the elements to all of the TTC me until being actually in the mist of it all, when I get my AMH results back after I have them done tomorrow I may also dabble into this book if it’s another barrier what needs to be kicked in the booty 🤣🙈 I don’t know if it’s worth asking but I’m sure there’s a fertility appointment group thread on MN where you could ask what it’s like for paying for a consultation? Because I’m sure they’ll just do the consultation and the tests but may not action anything unless paying private until NHS funding is aloud past one year with you guys TTC? Hope your having a chilled Sunday 🙃✨ fairy ovary eggy dust 🤣🤣🤣 ✨✨✨

@Kitty0389 sorry to hear you had a BFN chick, keep us posted with your OH SA as my hub is the same, he has his test on Wednesday, he’s taking his headphones to the hospital for no distraction, bless him 😂🙈 I’ve said I’ll wait in the car for him for moral support or shall I say more pride support 😂🙈 it’ll be interesting to see if we need more help than what we are originally thinking but they do say the samples can be inaccurate and to get a true reflection needs to be repeated sometimes at least 3 times to see any consistencies.. but we shall see :)

@minthumbugs thank you lovely lady! Absolutely loved little niece cuddles, my aunt has made her something what I’m gonna fetch up to their house next week like this keep sake glass bottle with fairy lights in it and lady birds and all little cute things! Our mable saw her too for the first time and she was so precious again, just a gentle sniff here n there and laying at the side, no jealously what so ever! BUT their dog poppy, she kept going for mable for some reason showing her teeth and snapping at her and snarling at her whenever she was nearby / or even times when she wasn’t even near her she was staring at her with her teeth out, really really really protective, don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad but our mabes just kept looking at us like chill out cool beans 😂😂😂

Hope your all having a lovely Sunday ladies! Got reflux from drinking yesterday I’m always same because I don’t drink very often! walked the pooch and done the ironing teas done already and prepped so planning on chilling, do abit of reading I’m reading Harlan coben again the woods and have a Harry Potter afternoon whilst the weather is being like a typical PMT lady can’t make it’s mind up if it’s gonna be dry or raining 😂😘

MammaJ21 · 09/05/2021 21:45

Hi all
Joining after being on the previous post
..although not as active as some.

zBrief history; 16 mo little boy 💙
MC Jan at 7 weeks
One af then caught again but MC at around 5 weeks. Just finished an Af following 2nd MC.

On CD 9/10.

Just downloaded the prenom app but already confussed haha. Had a low 0.09 opk...what is considered as a high etc? Sorry if tmi but when I dipped the opk.into the urine and pulled it out there seemed to be what I'd describe as ewcm hanging off the strip (I didn't wipe before) I don't get loads of ewcm/haven't quite got to the grips of tracking cm as don't get loads or obvious changes if that makes sense. But it did definitely seem to be ewcm but then a low reading (faint line) Just wondering what a high reading is deemed to be (as im new to this!)

What days do people tend to ovulate? I know it varies a lot. Last cycle I had a peak on ppl (just by colour of line) then a paler like then another few days of peaks (same/darker) so just trying to find my pattern really. This was following MC so maybe different. Not sure why I carried in using the opks just wanted to see how good they were j guess...but not sure!

Loving the new thread name

minthumbugs · 10/05/2021 09:29

Ahhhh I had a whole message written out yesterday and it didn't send!!

@Kitty0389 that's great your OH's SA is booked in this week, will be good to get something ruled out or get some answers. How many months has it been for you now, is it close to a year? I would phone, but I have no idea who to contact 🙈 I don't think I took much in at the time, I do remember being told I'd get a letter for a consultant appointment for them to discuss the results with me and that it's delayed because of COVID. 4 months seems a bit long, but I have no idea! X

@kaylsd yaayyyy for more results and tests this week, so glad it's all moving forwards for you. My dog is the exact same as theirs! He is so protective especially when I'm unwell, he doesn't let anyone near me 🥰 hope you enjoyed your Harry potter day, that's my dream weekend. X

@MammaJ21 hi, how are you? Sorry I have no idea about premom at all! I struggle to keep up with all the tracking things, hence the chill month this month 🤣 ovulation for me has been all over the place post MC, but usually I'm around week 3 of my cycle. Anywhere from CD21 onwards. Are you approaching now do you think? X

Halpmer · 10/05/2021 14:37

I'm still following ladies! Graduated a while back. I'm lurking in the shadows, rooting for you all!

Kitty0389 · 10/05/2021 14:56

@kaylsd hope the tests go ok for your OH! My OH has his on Friday.

@minthumbugs technically I came off the pill late November so 5 full months, but my cycles only settled in March. OH is an optimist and is viewing it as we’ve only been trying for the 3 cycles I’ve had normal ones with confirmed ovulation. I just feel like it’s been forever even if it hasn’t! AF actually hasn’t turned up yet but I have all the signs so just want it to hurry up so I can be onto the next try...
Bodies are such a pain! But I also know I’m super stressed at the moment so I’m not exactly making it easy for my body to do it’s job

minthumbugs · 10/05/2021 15:11

How are you getting on @Halpmer? X

@Kitty0389 that's a good way to look at it. Your body definitely takes a while to settle down so not counting those months helps put a positive spin on it. I'm not counting the months trying before MC as it will just freak me out! Aww I hope you can manage to relax a little bit, indulge in some good food or a hobby and your body will catch on to the plan. X

Tangfastic91 · 10/05/2021 15:15

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I join! 6DPO, TTC #1, first cycle. The regular (for PMS) aching boobs and the odd spot have just appeared, so am expecting a BFN when I test this month. Did anyone have the usual PMS symptoms but get a positive? Give me some hope 😂

minthumbugs · 10/05/2021 15:19

hi @Tangfastic91, good luck! If you've caught the egg, implantation would be right around the corner so anything up until now would be symptoms from progesterone. So hopefully it goes the good way for you and the symptoms are from a wee bub nestling in. My fingers are crossed for you. X

Tangfastic91 · 10/05/2021 15:26

Thanks @minthumbugs! Can't see in this thread where you are journey wise, but good luck!

minthumbugs · 10/05/2021 15:41

Thank you @Tangfastic91 Smile I'm not really sure where I am myself haha! I'm having a chill month with no tracking (a few of us are this month!), I think I might be on CD20something - waiting on ovulation any time now but not putting pressure on it. I'm on cycle 4 of trying for baba no. 2 after a MC in January and with one tube because of an ectopic a few years ago. X

hopingtostartfamily · 10/05/2021 15:44

Hello everyone! Could I join please? Last month was our first month of actually trying for our first (tracking etc) but I've off the pill for over a year now with the view of 'if it happens, it happens'.

I have a lot to learn - but I'd love to make some friends along the way in the same position!

MammaJ21 · 10/05/2021 15:56

@minthumbugs I'm ok thanks, how about you? to be honest, I don't know. I'm approaching mid cycle so hoping to ov this week ..but obviously we know it's not quite that simple!
Will do opks this week and hope that can time bding around that time. Are you expecting it any time soon?x

minthumbugs · 10/05/2021 16:41

Hi @hopingtostartfamily! Whereabouts are you in your cycle now? Baby dust ✨✨

@mammaj21 I'll be the same as you! Not been tracking but don't think it's happened yet, expecting some time this week. Cycle buddies 🤞🏻

Thanks so much @minhumbugs. Huge baby dust to you, too!

So I had my peak last weekend (1/2 May) but this is a little new to me so I'm not sure where I'm at exactly in my cycle. I think that makes me about 6DPO as I my ovulation sticks were still saying high up until the Tuesday!

kaylsd · 10/05/2021 17:16

@MammaJ21 hey there lovely, I’ve heard good things about the pre mom app, a peak of 0.9 may be your highest but everyone can differ depending if you naturally have high levels of LH in your body, i am a culprit for this! They do say tracking your BBT along side of OPK is an useful way to see if your body is ovulating :), I’m prob one of the worst ones here to ask about it though because I get beautiful looking rises and dips in temperature and near enough positive OPK but my body gears up and fails because of PCOS we now think :’) but they say even late ovulation is no detriment to a pregnancy than text book cd14 as long as you get a good egg then the worlds your oyster 🙃

I do this all the time then I think hmm it's quiet then turns out I didn't press send!! Hope your Monday hasn't been too bad for you hunny! Opted for a Harry Potter afternoon followed by hunger games, absolutely love films like that, it makes me sad that they prob won't release more like it ever again, thank god we can always re watch though time and time again which I'm guilty of 💁🏼‍♀️🙈
kaylsd · 10/05/2021 17:20

@Kitty0389 good luck back at you hunny! Just made hub read the patient leaflet because it will piss me off if he does everything absolutely lovely but they can't test it because he forgot to fill in the date or time on the sample like it happened to his work manager apparently, what a absoute melon! Hah :') he had to resample in the end as he drove back a hour after realising what he did but it was too late they discarded it 😩 so I'm hoping our loved ones will learn.. date and time deffo is a must!!

Hello there OG graduate ;) how's your journey been so far darling 🥺 hope everything has been smooth for you 🥰 hoping as the year goes on, we could host a graduation ceremony by December as the odds have got to match by then for a couple of us to get our cap and gowns or shall I say morning sickness and BFP 🙈😩🙃

Hey there lovely lady, ofc we don't mind more the merrier! It's an absolute head mess the TWW as they both merge into one or another because of the progesterone don't know how many times in the TWW dr google has told me to go nursery shopping as it's my month.. ;) haha! hoping your symptoms are all positive though in the right direction for you 🤞🏻✨
