Random question! All my apps say I should have ovulated or be ovulating now - but my ovulation tests show I'm still low - if anything it's got lower over last few days. I've not been able to test the whole month because I was away... just curious as to how far from the norm your usual ovulation date is??

MammaJ21 · 15/05/2021 12:32

@minthumbugs

Omg I've missed a lot! I'm sitting on the couch with a very large glass of wine and some snacks and catching up, here we go 🍷

@MammaJ21 did you get your positive OPK? How are you getting on?

@kaylsd ugh sorry work has still been shit for you! Enjoy the BBQ at the weekend, that will definitely have been something to get you through. Your results sound as if they are very borderline? That's almost more frustrating than just coming back saying yes PCOS! Glad you have a consultation booked already though so they can go through what happens now with you. Grating ovaries 🤢 I feel sick!!! I'm doing ok here, do you know what I am absolutely loving the stress free life. I've had a wee look at my RHR which has had a dip then went up then another dip? So that suggests ovulation has happened but no idea what the dip is, and my app is predicting it some time this weekend but I've already had all the signs. So tbh I'm somewhere between almost at the end of the follicular phase up to 5dpo I think 🤣 I couldn't even hazard a guess! That is soooo lovely what your coworker did for you, crying!!!! What a sweet gesture that really means a lot 😘

Hey @justwant2beamum how's it going? I think we are all the same with work just now, all having a hectic time of it! Where are you in your cycle?

Sorry @tangfastic91, that's shit 😩 you're not completely out yet though and stranger things have happened. Easier said than done, stay away from the tests until next week! And as @kaylsd says we will be here waiting to provide congrats or support either way ❤️

Sorry you're feeling down @lunalove14 I definitely get that. It's really frustrating when you're ready and your body's not. I think a year is just a safe bet, that's obviously not ruling it happening earlier out! Tracking ovulation might give you an insight into if it's happening already and when so you can get a better idea of your body. Sorry to hear about your MC, I had similar circumstances, fell pregnant on the pill when I had an ectopic pregnancy. Life is just shit sometimes!

@CycloGoose hope all is good with you, happy Friday finally!!

Phewww, think I read everyone's messages! It's me and my partner's anniversary tomorrow and I thought I would have finished all my work but I haven't 😩 but we're going to have some quiet celebrations with some cocktails and a movie night tomorrow ❤️ so looking forward to it and if it is the case that ovulation is at the weekend well I don't think I'll be complaining! 🤣

Hey . so no positive yet or higher than the other day just did one and the lines really faint?!

So who knows. Hopefully it'll pick back up again?

Hope you enjoyed the wine! Happy anniversary too

sending positive vibes to all x

kaylsd · 16/05/2021 09:55

@minthumbugs Thanks lovely I'll keep you guys posted with everything as normal on Wednesday hope you've had a lovely weekend ✨✨

@KayL1988 I used to find when I had a positive OPK I tend to show signs of ovulation for around 2 days after it but my positive OPK only used to last one day and used to try baby dance every other day around it :) I tried SMEP but found it too tiring and regimental 🙈

I'm not gonna lie I'm hanging out of my bottom today, had waayyyy too much what turned into garden drinks from 1 o clock lasted until half 11 last night and ended the evening singing baby cakes 😂😂😂 so I need greasy food and paracetamol with plenty of water today... the hangover life is not for me 🙈 hope your all having a lovely weekend! Xx

minthumbugs · 16/05/2021 13:05

Oooh @KayL1988 have you done another one since? I'm not sure, my ovulation dates are a bit unreliable so maybe up to 2 weeks out from where it's set! X

Strange @MammaJ21, come join us on the chill train for a while maybe? 🤣 Thank you lovely!

@kaylsd that's all the signs of a good night 😏 you and your friends sound like my kinda gals, straight onto justeat for you today 😅

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. X x

KayL1988 · 16/05/2021 14:34

@kaylsd hope you feel a bit better now. Hangovers are the worst!!!!

@minthumbugs I've tested this morning and my LH levels look like they've increased again a bit but not ovulating. I'm so curious for next month as to when I ovulate!

How is everyone's Sunday?? Xx

minthumbugs · 16/05/2021 22:19

@KayL1988 maybe started too late this month! You'll probably get a better idea when you (if you) start on a fresh cycle.

I've had a lovely Sunday and a great weekend all round! Had a nice takeaway, some wine and saw family, a Sunday well spent brings a week of content as they say ✨ here's to a good week 😘

CycloGoose · 16/05/2021 23:11

Sorry ladies. Between work and DTD I have not had time to write on here. Just finished reading and catching up and it's way past bed time when I have a 5:55 alarm 😭

Sounds like everyone had a lovely weekend. So much love all round. Always thinking of everyone who posts on here and wishing you all well even if I don't get time to type it!

No LH testing here this month. Think I'm in for a long month though as no sign of ovulation yet on my OvuSense. Boobs have been sore today though and I passed out on the sofa at lunchtime both Sat and Sun but whether that's progesterone or the workload is anyone's guess!

Had my little friend Buddy around and here's a pic of him helping with the housework 🤣

Hope you had a gorgeous anniversary @minthumbugs

Good luck on Wednesday if I don't get to post properly before then @kaylsd Your colleague made me cry, too. What a beautiful, thoughtful person. So gorgeous.

By the way @kayl1988 I'm on cd21 and no sign yet for me. I'm normally a cd16 girl but with the MC and Covid jab, my ovaries are playing silly buggers. If I've learnt anything in the past 10 months it's to expect the unexpected! Good luck x

KayL1988 · 17/05/2021 11:18

Oh good to know @CycloGoose. My levels today are looking high so maybe now is the time and it's just a week late. Hopefully you peak soon - and at least you've got some covid protection!

minthumbugs · 17/05/2021 11:44

Hey @cyclogoose! Think you need a good rest 😴 buddy is so adorable. Bloody ovaries, how dare they?! The good thing is late ovulation won't make a difference to a healthy pregnancy, hopefully they get their act together soon.

@KayL1988 same for you! A week late is better than never. I've had a few later than normal ovulations recently, don't know this month as not been tracking but last month was like 4 weeks into the cycle, wish I was a standard 28 day 😂😭

Speaking of 28 day cycles... Just checked my app and I'm on CD28. Based on my normal (ha) cycles from the last few months, AF is due in about a week I think? Anyone else in TWW territory? Not symptom spotting at all as no idea when ovulation was, well not had a single thing anyway 😂 X x

kaylsd · 17/05/2021 11:46

The healthy life failed me this weekend me and hub managed to rise from the dead with a family feast from kfc... for me and him and the dog 😂😂😂 well I guess the pooch makes us the family right? ;)

Back on the healthy grind today though until Friday when I'm going out for tea with hub indoors for the first time since our wedding meal before covid lockdown number 3! Gonna be so strange eating indoors but least we don't have to worry about our food being cold anymore from being outside too long :') hope your Monday is nice and mellow!

I swear hangovers are getting worse in age, brewing like a nice wine 😂😂 when I was younger I could be hanging out of my bottom in the morning and then all up for the sesh come the afternoon! Now I need about 2-3 business days to come round 🤣🤣 I hope you've had a lovely weekend sweetpea and good luck with the positive OPK, tis after all the best part of it 😘

minthumbugs · 17/05/2021 11:49

Amazing @kaylsd, I fell off the healthy wagon as well this weekend but it's been round to pick me back up this morning 😂 that sounds lovely! I haven't even been anywhere for an outdoor meal yet, waiting it out for things opening up here! X x

Purpleshoes123 · 17/05/2021 12:51

@minthumbugs I'm 5dpo and have been symptom spotting, can't help it! I've had left sided pelvic pain which seems to have gone away now and boobs have been a little bit sore but it's probably all nothing. Haven't got any tests in the house because I know I'll just waste them, and today I went in a shop and didn't buy any!

@CycloGoose when was your covid jab? I'm thinking about getting mine but don't want to if it's going to mess up cycle

CycloGoose · 17/05/2021 14:37

It might not have been the Covid jab @Purpleshoes123 I also take a boat load of supplements and I've just realised my new iron and b12 (I'm borderline anaemic) tablet has b6 in which is known for messing with cycle length so could be that. It's been totally dodge since MC anyway.
I had it a couple of weeks ago. My chart is wild.

minthumbugs · 17/05/2021 16:19

That's exciting @Purpleshoes123! That is some willpower. Are you waiting it out or do you have an earliest day in mind to test? I think I'm at most 7dpo and at least 2dpo so that's something 😂

KayL1988 · 17/05/2021 16:27

@CycloGoose I love looking at other people's charts. It's amazing what can mess with cycle lengths - nothing is simple anymore!

Purpleshoes123 · 17/05/2021 16:54

Thanks for your reply @CycloGoose that's interesting, I didn't know about the b6

@minthumbugs I haven't really thought about when to test. I think once I get a negative test it's quite upsetting, so if I don't test then it's nice to think there's still a possibility. What about you? When do you plan to test?

minthumbugs · 17/05/2021 17:37

I'm the same @Purpleshoes123. Don't like negatives so I'm a wait it out kinda gal. I do have some tests in the house but I think my best bet is to wait seeing as I don't know exactly where I am in the cycle anyway! I have my fingers crossed for you. X

Omg look at buddy he is soooo cuteeeee! I hope you've been okay darling I know how much it's hard when there's not much of a work life balance :( I wonder if your jab has caused you do have a whack cycle? When I had covid in November the doctor said there's a link between covid and delaying ovulation I wonder if it's similar to the vaccine I'm sure I've read something on the internet about it delaying periods, it's been a crazy up and down what your body has been through the last month or two it's a hard balance to tell, I hope your ovaries start complying and get the ball rolling! We can't have any more non compliant ovaries otherwise I may just start a club and we can get matching t shirts 😂😂😂💁🏼‍♀️
Tangfastic91 · 17/05/2021 19:13

Hi ladies, bit of a strange day for me. AF maybe due today (cd28) but I can also have 29 or 30 days cycles so unclear. Mild intermittent cramps all day, convinced AF will start any minute but hit by a massive dizzy spell and sofa ridden for last 2 hours. I'm convinced my mind is playing tricks on me and AF will rock up any minute.

kaylsd · 17/05/2021 19:25

Are things where you live being abit more slower with the opening up? I feel like part in frozen where she opens up the gates but it's us opening back the UK 😂😂😂 I'm gonna try my best to kick start it back up this week need to get into that healthy BMI and pre lockdown jeans 😘💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️
Tangfastic91 · 17/05/2021 19:43

Good luck with the jeans @kaylsd! Dreading having to wear clothes than aren't elasticated again once the country has opened up a bit more 😂.. not even sure my feet will fit in shoes any more either!

minthumbugs · 17/05/2021 19:46

@Tangfastic91 oh that's promising! Have you tested or are you planning on it any time soon? Hope you feel better soon. X

@kaylsd haha that's exactly what it's like. I live in quite a rural area so don't really have anywhere to go! The closest city to me is Glasgow and lockdown has been extended for another week... when will it eeennddd??! Where are you in your cycle, it's not crazy long yet is it?

I said earlier I have had no symptoms either way yet, well I have been struck by the intensely hungry monster stage of PMS which normally starts a few days before AF for me. I think just a case of waiting now and moving onto the next cycle, I'm ok with it!

Tangfastic91 · 17/05/2021 19:54

@minthumbugs, I might try a FRER tomorrow if af doesn't come overnight. But really I should wait until Thurs/Fri to be officially late. I think it's psychosomatic to be honest as I've had every other PMS symptom I usually get (sore boobs, desire to eat the entire fridge, grumpy at DH 😂) so I can only surmise that the TWW has messed with my head. We'll see! How are you? Planning to test soon?
