@MgW1 haha no, partly because I'm too cheap, and partly because I hate seeing black tests and I'd rather live with a bit of hope 🤣

I am however crazily peeing on OPK's now because I've had four days of peak, and I don't know why my body won't ovulate - so annoying!

Bundaberg84 · 17/05/2021 09:28

morning @MgW1 :) no, I won't do that anymore. It's too stressful. If I'd see a faint line that won't progress it would stress me out so much! And maybe I would be partly to blame for a chemical because I wouldn't be able to relax. But I always find it very fascinating to hear other's journeys with daily testing! There's no right or wrong generally speaking. You do what's right for you!

Misty84 · 17/05/2021 09:47

@MgW1 I’m 9dpo and don’t think I’ll be testing early, as @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 said I prefer to live with a bit of hope rather than see the depressing white space!
Having said that last month I was very optimistic as we’d dtd so much, and therefore I tested: bfns at 10&11dpo, af arrived on 13dpo.
I’m too scared to see another bfn this month especially as I’m getting closer to dreaded IVF! The drop in bbt is the first confirmation for me that it’s been another failed month. Still half hopeful for now 🤞🙏

GuessHowMuch · 17/05/2021 10:34

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 are you checking your temps at all? I had my first ever peak on an OPK on Friday (I was so ridiculously excited 😆). Mine stayed high and it’s just gone down to low this morning. I was hoping my temps might give confirmation but I only took one temp before Friday so absolutely no use 😅 Fingers crossed for you!

AnxiousWannabe · 17/05/2021 10:48

I am afraid to test anymore. I missed my period last month. Then ovulated a week later and now dpo13 still not period and bfn on dpo 12. My temps are down. It's just so much of mess.

I am jealous of ppl that got bfp on first tries, of those who got normal bfp at dpo 11-13, and those who never have to struggle and still have years before they are labeled ama lol

MgW1 · 17/05/2021 11:06

@AnxiousWannabe
I know how you feel 😔 we have been trying a year and I habe had bfp 3 times and its not worked out. But Im still as hopeful as ever xx

ImpatientTTCer · 17/05/2021 11:51

@MgW1 me 😂😂😂 4dpo and my body is all over the place. I had about 4 days of gradual LH rise, a peak, a drop, another peak, and then a really slow drop which is still going! Last month I didn’t even get a positive. I always get ovulation cramps before/during, but this month they’re sticking around and I’ve had them for a week now. My temperature is also high enough for me to have ovulated, but a lot lower than it usually is at this time of the cycle. So, every morning I’m now doing a pregnancy test, and every evening another LH test....because who knows what the hell is going on in there! 😂

MgW1 · 17/05/2021 11:56

@ImpatientTTCer
You sound like me 😂 im doing the same with my amazon bulk box of tests 🙃 its amazons fault!!

ImpatientTTCer · 17/05/2021 12:02

@MgW1 completely! I must have gone through 30+ LH tests this month 🙄

Apparently it’s normal to have two peaks, or a plateau at positive/peak.....so I’m trying not to worry about it. Cramps are a bit weird though, and the low temperature. I think my body is just messing with me because it knows I’m paying attention!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 17/05/2021 13:06

@GuessHowMuch congrats on the peak! Yes I am, temp is very low still. I would expect to ovulate the day after a positive opk based on temps, but this month no.

@MgW1 ah sorry about them not working out, that's very sad

Henslovetoscratch · 17/05/2021 14:12

Cd1 again for me! Back to the start! Had a much more normal cycle this month with much less spotting so hoping my seven seas are doing the job now. Good luck all the TWWs and everyone else on their own journey ❤️

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 17/05/2021 14:32

Sorry @Henslovetoscratch, good news on the cycle seeming better, but I now how disheartening it is on CD1

Henslovetoscratch · 17/05/2021 14:45

Thanks @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7, it is disappointing but got to just see what happens the next few times I guess. Best of luck with your OPKS, hope you get your peak soon 🤞

AnxiousWannabe · 17/05/2021 14:51

Cd1 for me too! @Henslovetoscratch
Wanna be cycle buddies this round ? I have a messed up cycle last month but hopefully better now.

Henslovetoscratch · 17/05/2021 14:57

@AnxiousWannabe sorry to hear that! Cycle buddy sounds good! How long are you cycles normally? Mine are 27 days

AnxiousWannabe · 17/05/2021 16:29

@Henslovetoscratch
Lol mine is usually 33 days but last cycle was anovulatory and then I ovulated a week later. And have my cd1 exactly two weeks later. So it's gonna be a discovery for me this cycle.

I got this fancy fertility tracker which tbh probably works the same as clearblue advanced. I bought it coz I was feeling super low. My next ovulation is either June 2-4. But let's see.

thislittlebird · 17/05/2021 16:50

@Misty84 when you communicated with PALS did it come through as a “FORMAL COMPLAINT”?

I’m bricking it now. I don’t want to stress of having to navigate some kind of complaints procedure, I’m worried it’ll be stressful. Does anyone have experience of this?

I feel really bad for complaining about the gynaecologist even though my experience was legitimately bad. But once you see formal complaint it seems daunting. My case worker will be in touch, apparently, I wish understood what all this means.

VixFromThe6ix · 17/05/2021 16:55

I'm 5 or 6 dpo... Not testing till 11-12dpo.

Do you ladies normally feel anything at 6dpo?? I feel nothinggggg

thislittlebird · 17/05/2021 16:57

Oh and @Misty84 I still don’t have an appointment with the lister. They haven’t replied to my last email, I’m incredibly confused. I thought these places would want the business 🤷‍♀️

thislittlebird · 17/05/2021 17:00
@thislittlebird yeh if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant this cycle I would get my money back minus £500 cancellation charge, plus they can't refund for any meds they've already sent me so that would be another £1000 approximately. Don't get me wrong though I would happily sacrifice £1500 for a natural pregnancy! 🤞🤞🤞

Sorry you are feeling down @AnxiousWannabe
That’s good, it’s nice to know you get most back just in case. Sod’s law and all that.

MgW1 · 17/05/2021 18:22

@VixFromThe6ix
I dont feel anything, few cramps thats all x

VixFromThe6ix · 17/05/2021 18:35

@MgW1 I don't even feel the cramps! 6dpo is about implantation isn't it? Would be nice to feel something 🙄
I had really high hopes for this cycle lol hubby did too

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 17/05/2021 18:43

@VixFromThe6ix no symptoms means nothing honestly, especially at 6dpo, so still hold out hope!

Teachermummy83 · 17/05/2021 21:06

Cycle day 1 again, 😔
I'd convinced myself that after nearly 2 years to conceive our wee girl that maybe this time around I'd get lucky straight away. No such luck. I so want to keep this positive and not the chore it became last time around, but can't help feeling its gonna be a long haul again. Grrrr, just a wee moan. Sorry girls.

Misty84 · 17/05/2021 21:14

@thislittlebird I had to look back through my emails so apology for the delay. No it didn’t come through as formal complaint. They just replied and it included a reference number, and the email said this: I am very sorry to learn of the concerns that you have raised in relation to your treatment in the Fertility Clinic. I have forwarded your email to the Service Manager for the service and I will be in contact with you as soon as I have received a response.
If I can be of any further assistance in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Then the service manager contacted me a few days later to sort everything out! My issue was with the service rather than a specific individual though, so maybe that’s why it’s different?
By the way I’m sure if you’re finding it too stressful then you can withdraw the complaint.

Can’t believe the Lister haven’t emailed you back, that is so bizarre!!! How many days has it been now?

@VixFromThe6ix It’s normal not to have pregnancy symptoms this early, otherwise everyone would know if they were pregnant way before AF arrives!
