@VixFromThe6ix I actually thought I had a short surge as ov the day I get a peak going by ov pain
But this month cd13 ov pain left cd14 ov pain right cd15 ov pain all day. And yesterday stabbing pain which now makes me think the ov pain I get could be something else. Cysts? Endo?

got2be · 14/05/2021 13:42

@VixFromThe6ix yes that made sense. Think I’ll do a day21 to try work out when I do ov

got2be · 14/05/2021 13:46

@VixFromThe6ix @MgW1 dtd cd11,13,14,15
If bfn thinking to try iui next month

VixFromThe6ix · 14/05/2021 14:24

@got2be @MgW1 gosh I'm learning so much here..just had to look up IUI and I had no idea such a thing existed. I'm gonna look into that as well if this month is a flop.
What is day21??
37 and still learning about my own body, pregnancy, etc. My friends and I always talk about how unprepared and unknowledgeable we all are about these things pretty much out whole lives, till we are met with an obstacle

MgW1 · 14/05/2021 14:41

@VixFromThe6ix
@got2be
Got ovulation cramps now so we will dtd tonight but thats it , neither have felt it this month! I had terrible cold when i had my period and he started with it week after .. certainly not felt sexy 🙈😂

ElsieG3m · 14/05/2021 14:45

@got2be been lurking as been so busy with work! Do you think your Ov pain could be IBS? I have something similar mid month - always low down on right - thought perhaps it could be Ov pain - but beginning to think could be my bowel as it's all so close together (sorry - tmi!). Not to say it's not a sign of Ov as your digestive system behaves differently during Ov but could explain why you've felt it on both sides? I think cystic pain doesn't come and go as far as I know so hopefully not that (or endo which would give other symptoms too). CM sounds good though!! Fingers crossed for you xx

got2be · 14/05/2021 14:58

@VixFromThe6ix I’ve learnt so much too use to think getting preg was easy lol
Day 21 is progesterone blood test done 7 days after ov to check if ov actually happened.
@MgW1 I’m cramping too u sure youve not already ov and your body is just preparing for potential pregnancy?
@ElsieG3m I don’t know if it’s endo but do have Ibs/ toilet issues bloating etc etc lol have done so for years, only now am I seeing the link and will ask gyne for a lap at next appointment.
Last month I had the pain on left but had ultrasound and had ov from right.
So your right with everything so close who knows we’re the pain is from

got2be · 14/05/2021 15:00

@ElsieG3m thanks I’m thinking cm is good too. sorry for tmi but I’ve never had so much cm I can feel it. I did so much to get a bfp this month that I’m really trying to stay positive xx

ElsieG3m · 14/05/2021 15:03

@got2be I often have variable levels but the only time it ever turned milky was with my daughter and yes - loads of it 😬 really really hoping this is your month xx

MgW1 · 14/05/2021 15:41

I think this is pretty dark for 4dpo ?
Or am I going crazy?

got2be · 14/05/2021 15:42

@ElsieG3m that sounds so promising 😬 xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/05/2021 15:58

@MgW1 do you temp? I'm hoping its positive, but could also be the cold has thrown your body out a bit and it tried to ovulate but didn't, so is trying again. Just in case, more sex!!!
This happened to me a few cycles back, kept getting creamy white and ewcm for two weeks after I thought I ovulated (I didn't temp then), but for me period arrived two weeks late 😩

Henslovetoscratch · 14/05/2021 16:09

Hi folks, don't think it's my month as I am on CD25 and usual brownish spotting happening today in the few days before AF. I thought I might be in with a chance yesterday as nothing but hey ho! How's everyone else getting on in TWW? X

VixFromThe6ix · 14/05/2021 16:22

Ugh, I got some spotting today. I am so confused.
Last month the same thing happened... 3dpo and I spotted. It stops as soon as I start progesterone, which I'm starting tonight...but no idea why this is happening. I thought last month was just transitional since I just started progesterone the previous cycle, but now that it's happening again I'm so worried that this can cause my uterus to shed any kind of egg that may be attacking itself...
Anyone had/has anything similar?

Magnum99 · 14/05/2021 17:10

So I'm out for this month, AF started yesterday. So that's now 6 months of trying without success.
I messaged my GP asking for a referral for investigations as the NICE guidelines for our area state that all women, regardless of whether they have children or not, should be referred for investigations after 12 months or 6 months if over 36. It says no IVF etc if you have children, fair enough, but I might not need IVF anyway.

My GP has previously told me this is wrong, that I'm not eligible for any investigations because I have children, so now I've done my research and quoted the guidelines the GP has said they'll check the rules and come back to me next week.
Anybody know what kind of investigations I may be eligible for? Or how I can find out? My friend's husband is a Gp so I'm tempted to ask her but I don't know her well enough to discuss my fertility issues with her.

got2be · 14/05/2021 17:36

@Henslovetoscratch @VixFromThe6ix I’ve never spotted so someone else will have more information then me but I’ve seen on other pages that the ladies use b6 to prevent that.

@Magnum99 your gp is being difficult and the guidelines you found are right. You are eligible for investigations just not treatment
They will do day 2-5 bloods day 21 as standard
Going by medical history other bloods might be ordered
I also has a hsg on nhs and I I’ve seen others who have had a lap.
If you don’t ov they might give clomid but not sure if that comes under treatment.
When it’s secondary they are useless so you have to keep pushing as all there advice has got me nowhere

Magnum99 · 14/05/2021 18:29

@got2be thank you, yeh I just needed some reassurance that what I'm saying is correct.
The GP said they'll do whatever they can to help but it has made me suspicious, I can't be the first woman to have ever asked this question, surely it must be a pretty common issue. It's made me doubt what they tell me now.
Well I'll wait and see what they come back with next week 🤞🏻

Geriatric1234 · 14/05/2021 18:52

PSA: so after my period was weirdly 5 days early, i did some investigating and it turns out the Covid vaccine can cause that to happen. It has no impact on fertility/pregnancy of TTC stats, but because your womb is part of the immune system it can cause your period to be early/late/heavy.

In case any of you have similar experience and freak out (like I did). Xxx

Magnum99 · 14/05/2021 20:10

@Geriatric1234 ah that will explain why AF often arrives early when I'm ill too, handy to know.

Misty84 · 14/05/2021 21:09

Well I’m very disappointed this evening. The Lister instructed me to take DHEA 25mg x 3 per day. No mention of getting my levels checked first. If I hadn’t read It starts with the egg I would have blindly followed that advice. But as I’ve read the book I did the Medichecks blood test a few days ago (and described the traumatic experience to you all!). Got the results today and I am already in the “Abnormal:high” range. Right. So I guess I shouldn’t dose up on it!
I find it very concerning that a top London clinic can instruct me to take something without any regard or advice whatsoever on checking my levels first. What the hell. How is this tailored to me?!

got2be · 14/05/2021 21:21

@MgW1sorry don't know how i missed your pic but that's exactly what mines was like. i scan it into app and it said low

got2be · 14/05/2021 21:23

@Misty84 can i ask out of all vits why they advised that? id be disappointed too, lucky you did bloods. id get on to them first thing monday morn as maybe there is a different level for fertility or maybe they just assumed you would be low.

got2be · 14/05/2021 21:24

@Magnum99 i think all gp's read a different rule book lol but fingers crossed they investigate x

Marvellouslymadmum · 14/05/2021 22:18

@Magnum99 this is exactly what I've heard as well, everyone is entitled to investigations even if no ivf, my gp has done all the blood tests and has referred me for more investigations and also booked me in for a scan now too just to check things look normal in there or to see if they can see anything pointing toward endo as it's suspected also. They should refer you to gynaecology who will do more blood tests, including fsh, Lh, oestrogen, progesterone, amh etc as well as an afc scan then maybe other tests for thyroid and vitamin deficiencies too. They also sometimes offer an hsg or lap if they suspect endo and some will give clomid too but not always.

@Misty84 I would question it with the clinic and see what they say, I was starting to look into Dhea but not sure now! I'm getting the book though so will read up on what it says in the endo section
