yeah I will, going to sign up with another surgery tomorrow. I am not dealing with these people anymore. The stupid surgery sent me a text tonight saying the doctor was on leave and to speak to another one on Monday?! I thought there were no appointments? Which is it? And the whole point was I’m trying to speak to the same one. Ughhhh.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yeah I think they won’t accept them because they’re over 3 months old but I’ll ask when I eventually speak to them. I wish they’d call me back.

@Misty84 yeah, I’ve read good stuff and can wait for a consult if I have to. I just want them to call back so I can feel like I’m making some progress. 😬 Do you remember if they called or emailed you?

I know why you think it won’t work, I do too (for me) tbh but you do have ten follicles which is good and that’s a number of chances. Obviously you’re not 45 but lister are known for working with older women so you’re in good hands I’m sure.

I tried using the “pregnancy calculator” on lister’s site and the numbers are not terrible when I put my AMH in but it doesn’t take male factor into consideration sooo....yeah 😐

I know you have to be “accepted” on to access plans so I’m hoping I’ll be accepted. I suppose the cost saving part of them is the unlimited FET, I’m not eligible for refund plans because I’m aged.

@VixFromThe6ix I was chatting to my friend in Canada once and she said Clomid isn’t licensed there, so it’s worth googling in case it’s not available.

I’m a good clomid candidate imo but they’ve not even offered it and when I eventually speak to a GP I’m asking why. If it’s my husband’s motility then they need to say that.

For the birthday thinking maybe a trip to Canterbury and a hotel stay maybe? Something like that anyway.

@VixFromThe6ix there's another one called Letrozole, but maybe Canada just isn't a fan of super ovulation - have a look into it so you know what definitely is available or not there.

Ended up doing another opk ... any excuse to test and its negative so deffo past ovulation x

@MgW1 That’s good you no you definitely ovulated then x I was looking at my chart got peak on cd13 and today’s cd18 so think I’m about 5dpo not 3 lol
Also cm has now changed to white milky and very excessive

Gosh has anyone taken a blood sample themselves before? I ordered a kit to check my Dhea levels as my GP won’t do it. What a traumatic experience that was!!! I now have 3 very bruised fingers, blood everywhere (I was totally inept at getting it in the tube). Actually found it far worse than smears, the HyCoSy etc! 😂 🙈 Deary me, my OH was not impressed with me at all!!

@thislittlebird From my recollection they didn’t call me back within a few days, so I emailed saying I’m trying to book a consultation but no one has called me back, then I got a reply that day apologising and setting it up for me. They use an encrypted email platform which I find a bit of a pain 🙄

@Misty84 my husband did one of those for me a while back, glad he did because I would have mucked it right up. It takes longer than you’d think and that was when it went well in and was only my little finger

@misty84 so far I’m annoyed with no callback because when you’re going private you expect callbacks to be prompt. When I had tests with Care they used an encrypted portal thing online which is annoying, have to remember a code all the time.

Well unless your pregnant it usually peaks at about 7dpo and then dries up a bit before AF supposedly, due to increase in progesterone but everyone is different x

@MgW1 cm is normal for me up till af but not white. I’m going to stop symptom spotting x

@Misty84 they are AWFUL 😂 3 fingers later, a pile of tissues, a lot of swearing....and only just enough blood to get up to the line!

@thislittlebird Seems like nothing is made easy for us hey. I guess it’s due to them being one of the most popular clinics in London. I agree it doesn’t feel right when we’re paying for it. The same way that I was annoyed when the consultation was being wrapped up at 25 mins. I was hell bent on getting my money’s worth!!

@VixFromThe6ix Are you getting on better with temping now? I do find it a really useful way of reading my cycles 🙂

Omg my body is playing games with me 🤨 more ewcm so done opk and its getting darker more or less peaking and i thought i had peaked on sunday x

@MgW1 I have ewcm white cm and watery. Have no clue what’s going on. Just a serious excess of cm Could be progesterone but dtd just incase.
I’ve heard pregnancy gives a positive opk

@Misty84 I was comprehensive but continued to do it and yes, it's been going up since ovulation so it's clearly working. 😁

@MgW1 you know women can peak couple times but only first one should count... 🤔 Did you already peak before??
I love how having sex is now like, ughhh do I have to?? 😂 After our last baby dance I was sore for two days, him too. We were like ok we need a break for some time from this.

@MgW1 yes it’s not as dark as peak cd14 but not as light as cd10. If that makes sense

@got2be I still think you're 3-4dpo. If you peaked in 13, that means ovulation day was 14 or even 15, and dpo starts couple a day after ovulation day so you'd be 3 or 4, I think....

My peak was CD12, ovulation cd13, so I am 3dpo as today is cd16

The same thing happened to me this week! I got a peak OPK reading on Wednesday afternoon, then on Thursday morning it had gone right down again. Thursday night....peaked again! This morning my temperature had risen and my app was saying “peak fertility” for the third day in a row...we looked over at each other in bed this morning and just couldn’t muster the energy to do anything 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️ There was a few minutes’ conversation about how tired we were, and would we regret not doing it, but in the end we just couldn’t 😂
