@Pepperony87 I also had a feeling of heaviness in my womb/pelvic area for a good few weeks and lots of twinges and aches that made me worry a lot, but I think the heaviness feeling passed around 10/11 weeks I think if I remember correctly, although I'm sure they'll be days that come where I get that feeling again. I'm now 13 weeks and scan showed nothing to worry about. The twinges and aches are fewer between now, although naturally they still do make me worry. Hope that helps, even if a little to know the feeling can be normal. I definitely am way more bloated in the evenings, so think that contributed to the heaviness feeling. Have you got any private scans booked or anything, I know they aren't what helps everyone either though so completely understandable if you aren't having private scans either.
@Jujujuberry I'm just over 13 weeks now. I had my dating scan last week. Feels like time has gone so weirdly as leading up to this point has felt super slow, especially as been consciously taking each day as it comes, but also feel like the time has zoomed past now that I'm in the 2nd trimester. Absolutely get what you mean about wanting the symptoms, I felt the same and have been contending with lots of nausea/sickness but feeling like I'm maybe coming out of that now, although I did learn early on to try to not focus on the symptoms too much as I sworn at times I had 'lost' my symptoms for a day and panic only for the next day for them to increase 500%. In the early days I broke things down into milestones and had a few private scans leading up to the NHS one to ease the anxiety a little, now thinking I might book one around 16/17 weeks as the wait until the 20 week scan seems such a long time. Really hope everything goes well for you lovely x
