Well ladies it's officially thread 10, our 3rd on the TTC Boards. A collection of lovely ladies who have been through the worst experience. May this thread bring us lots of luck 🙏

@Daisyamelie were your negatives after MMC on a FRER? If yes, then theres a good chance this is new hcg. If no, then I found I could still see FRER lines a longggg time after MMC surgery.

Sorry I dont think ive been on this version of the thread - hi those of you I knew before! Brief history - MMC at 12weeks (fetus grew to 11 weeks) in Dec2020. Since then, TTC again. I clearly have an ovulation disorder as I have cycles ranging 46-141 days. Currently CD2.

Hi @BrokenDragon to begin with (twin loss in Feb) I didn't do much, but in the last month I've been doing more than I was before all month long! It helps me feel healthy and definitely has a positive impact on my mood and mental health!

Sorry for your loss x

BrokenDragon · 12/07/2021 23:46

Thanks LaurenNH, Im sorry for your loss too!

It's so easy to overthink everything in the tww isn't it :( x

Hi all. So i had a miscarriage at 5-6 weeks last month. Fell pregnant again straight away and now having a chemical Sad

Hope you all don't mind me asking this but i know you need to have 3 to be referred and get it looked into. I'm sure i'veseen people mention they will sometimes analyse what you've passed (sorry!) to lookat why it happened. Would they do that on the 3rd mc or would you need to have already had 3?

I was referred to a fertility doctor last year because i couldn't fall pregnant. The appointment is next week but obviously in the meantime i've got pregnant twice and lost them. Has this happened to anyone else? Did they help you or say they couldn't because you'd actually managed to fall pregnant?

Sorry for all the questions Blush

@TheDaydreamBelievers hey, sorry I only just logged back into mumsnet and read these posts back as I’ve had a really mad few weeks at work!

So turns out the negatives I thought I had were only negatives because it was on 25 sensitivity HCG tests. When I used FRER it still said positive alongside the 1-2 weeks on CBD. About a week after i then tested again on them and it finally said not pregnant/negative. Which tbh I was so relieved so it would be a fresh start!

Since then, my period started on July 13th. Very heavy and quite painful for the first few days. I usually have 26/27 day cycles so I downloaded the GLOW app and started testing my ovulation on the clear blue smiley faces and got my flashing smiley today 😁 I’m predicted to ovulate July 27th or round abouts but tbh my partner is away until august this is more just a trial run to see how my cycles have got back to normal or not.

So for anyone reading this who’s miscarried at a similar stage to mine (scan at 12 weeks revealed baby stopped growing at 11 weeks) - I had my medical management on June 3rd. Stopped bleeding around a week later. Then was still testing positive by the end of june. Finally tested fully negative July 4th and then got my period July 13th.

I am now ovulating around the same time I would do normally before the miscarriage.
I hope this is of some help to anyone as I know when I was going through the first few weeks I was going mad searching for someone who had miscarried at a similar time frame to me (for no other reason that I wanted to have some sort of reference for when I might get back to normal).

Will keep you all updated when my partner is back in a few weeks as we plan to get trying ASAP.
Good luck to you all 😘 xx

Hi all,

I have been staying away a bit as I'm finding it all a bit much.

Just one question - sorry if it's a bit TMI, but I've never done the feeling for my cervix thing, but then this month I thought I would check it around ovulation... it was high and soft, but wayyyy over to my right side. Anyone know if this is normal?

XX

Ralala · 01/08/2021 05:29

@LaurenNH that’s normal for me. It’s always been off to the right. I suppose it’s different for different people . Cervix’s can be like ninjas though - all over the place - so don’t place too much weight on it xxx

Hi ladies, i hope everyome is well, i have just come across this post. I had a miscarriage on 29th August 21, i had a small 2 day bleed on October 1st no clots or heaviness (the first one since tje miscarriage) i have recently just found out i am expecting again! I am on edge and my anxiety is bad! I took a cheap test first followed by the plus clear blue then a digital which showed 2-3 weeks over a week ago, i took the other digital one yesterday which changed to 3+ weeks. Is that a good sign? My nipples are so sore, i feel sick, my tastebuds are changing, my skin is spotty and as gross as it sounds i am leaking some wee and discharge! Does anyone else have these symtoms? I should be around 4-5 going by the date of my last bleed. Thank you for reading ❤🌈
