Had a call and inductions are delayed so it’s not likely to be today ☹️ I’m gutted.

Nothing yet but she did warn me it probably wouldn’t feel like it’s done anything, but it would be doing things I can’t feel if that makes sense? Just got to wait for the call this morning to see if they can fit me in today 🤞

38+6 today but consultant booked the induction as she’s worried I have late onset GD, polyhydramnios and baby has a large abdomen.

Had another update, they offered for me to go to a hospital an hour away but DH doesn’t drive so I wouldn’t be able to get there/back. They said I won’t be called tonight and they don’t think I will tomorrow either. I’m so, so gutted and rather emotional this evening!!

It must feel so frustrating to be pushed back day after day. I got a taxi to and from hospital. Is that an option?

@kirinm I will be getting taxis to and from our local hospital which is about 10/15 mins away, but wouldn’t be able to afford taxis to and from a hospital an hour away 😔

@MrsB2019x can the hospital offer you transport of some sort, it is their fault after all? I really hope they can get it all sorted for you today, it's cruel leaving you in limbo x

@SS123456 They never mentioned it, as soon as I said DH doesn’t drive they just said ‘that’s fine’. Still no further update this morning. Getting antsy about it all now! ☹️
On the plus side, I’m no longer nervous about getting induced cos I just want it done with now 😂

@SS123456 That’s pretty much where I’m at 😂 they have at least got me in for a CTG today to make sure she’s still okay in there as inductions are still delayed ☹️

I think I was lucky as they admitted me, but were busy, so wanted Frankie out as soon as they could get her out. Although considering I was in 4 days before she was born, & then another 5 days after, I don’t think it quite went their way.

@Sansa87 Yeah I shouldn’t complain really as it’s better to wait at home than be stuck in hospital. Although saying that my CTG appt was at 4 and I’m still waiting 😂

Yeah I’m doing okay thanks. Ended up waiting 4 hours for the CTG yesterday 😂 had another one today which was showing tightenings that I couldn’t feel, trying not to get my hopes up that I’m getting started on my own! Another hospital has offered to take low risk women today so I’m hoping that means the list goes down faster.. got another CTG booked in for tomorrow if I’m not called in by then

Thanks both 😘 I’m in now hooked up to the CTG. Waiting for doctors to come out of c-sections to prescribe the pessary ☺️

@MrsB2019x omg I forgot that I sit. They always seemed to be doing csections! It made me even more nervous how many were being done 😂
