@kirinm I didn't get a peak opk until CD18, I don't temp anymore but I have previously ovulated the day of peak but even if that was the case then my LP would have only been 9 days this month

@whambam89 Sorry to hear AF arrived so early for you. Glad you are gonna get some bloods done though to get to the bottom of it, makes no sense 😔

We often seem to get BFPs when a new thread is made so one has got to come along soon surely!

I'm due to ovulate around the 12th and then we go away for a week on the 17th so hopefully the relaxing will do me good!

Hopefully the blood tests will help! I started having them before I fell pregnant with my first but found out through the testing that I was expecting. My fingers are crossed for you x

I think I'm 10dpo. Tested yesterday and it was BFN so not looking likely again. I've got one test left which I'll do tomorrow and will then stop testing. I stupidly bought tests last month so had them in the house and still can't be trusted with them!

@MrsB2019x I forget that most of the ladies on this group are from "down south" 😂 hope you manage to get away before baby's here! We did an adults only holiday before DD arrived and it was bliss.

Nope, haven't heard from Claire - was thinking about her the other day actually. Hope she's getting on ok.

@kirinm still very early for a BFP, got everything crossed for you! I've not tested for a couple of months now which is good going for me 😂

Period arrived 2 days early 🙄. No idea if I ended up ovulating earlier than I had assumed.

Literally don't even know what to do... Still spotting 1.5 weeks after my period started, just did a test to check as this was my symptom with the ectopic. Top is an opk, bottom HCG - going to head out and get some more tests now. Should be 19dpo so the line on the HCG should definitely be darker by now. I don't think I even have it in me to ring the EPU and say it out loud again 😭

I think that line is very clear. Your best bet as you probably know is getting some blood tests. Going on your last cycle, how many weeks will you be?

Was it a normal period?

@kirinm there's literally no doubting the lines but my period was pretty normal, only difference was I didn't really have any period pains and it came at 9dpo. Think the lines should be much darker now. I'll ring EPU in the morning I'd be 5 weeks going from my last period so I know they wouldn't be able to scan yet and would just offer bloods. I've not even told my OH yet because I just know it can't be good news 😭

Those are really strong lines. I know you've been down this road before but it could all be fine and you've just had a bleed.

I was scanned at 5 weeks with my daughter so you might be able to get a scan. What is your EPU like? Were they rude to you or was that A&E?

I'm sorry you're going through this again. I will keep my fingers very tightly crossed that you've just had a bleed and everything is okay. Xx

I didn’t get the notification for this thread. Hi girls.

I’ve had an eventful week. Blood pressure shot right up to 185/114. Ended up being admitted to hospital and there was talk of induction, which I have wanted to avoid.

Thankfully came back negative for preeclampsia and the meds they’ve put me on have worked, so have been discharged. Just need to go on twice weekly monitoring.
Due date is Friday, which is scary!

@kirinm thank you. I've told my partner now, he didn't have much to say because I guess what is there to say!

EPU were really good with me first time round, it was A&E that weren't when I got them faint lines last time. These are definitely much darker than then though. I've got period like cramps and heavier spotting tonight so god knows what's going on. Will keep you all updated x

Holy cow @whambam89 no doubting those lines! Hopefully EPU can shed some light on what’s going on for you. I was scanned at 5+2 this time and they saw a sac so hopefully they will scan you, especially with your history. A lady on our August FB group has been having heavy bleeds with clots sporadically throughout the pregnancy and baby is getting on fine Flowers Keeping everything crossed for you that everything is fine, keep us posted 💜

@Sansa87 That sounds eventful! Glad everything is okay now though, not long til you meet your girl! 😍

@sansa87 glad you're both doing ok and can't believe how quick your due date has come round!

@kirinm have spoken to EPU and they're getting a midwife to call me back. I actually feel surprisingly calm about it, I'm preparing myself for the worst but kind of expected this to happen and I'm not sure why. Will update you when I hear back from the midwife x

So they've booked me in for a scan next Thursday when I'll technically be 6 weeks and told me if I have any pain / heavy bleeding before then then to go to a&e. The first woman I spoke to was absolutely useless, she said "so you're 2 weeks pregnant?" ... I had to explain to her that it's impossible to get a positive pregnancy test at 2 weeks pregnant and she genuinely didn't know that 🤦🏻‍♀️ she ended up getting someone else to call me back who was lovely.
