Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

@Skl2021 I am going to hide the tests I have at home until next month..... if it wasn’t the peak I will know in 2 weeks and then next month be prepared for 2 surges 🤣🤣 it all the learning game! When you hear of women trying for years you wonder how they haven’t lost it!
@Nats7504 I know they are like 30 quid for a 20 which is ok when you know your cycle but if your trying to establish things then you use them daily!! I never seen the ones in bm so just order online! There is an app call premom which is great cause you can take pics each day and it records the information!
Prior to the pill I had a 32 day cycle and would have ovulated around day 20 so to ovulate on day 15 is odd.... but I’m not complaining 🙈 xx

@Springflower3 Ahh, maybe your cycles are shortening? Like we said, coming off birth control messes everything up. It’s taken me months to have any form of a predictable cycle. I’ve started using OPKs from today as again I have no idea what day I’ll ovulate 🙈 As long as we do that’s the main thing. My DP saw the box on the side this morning and grinned as he knows what it means and he’s desperate to use the lube. Men have far too much fun while we stress 🙄 xx

@Springflower3 I'm on cycle 4 and it's getting hard already don't know how these women do it for years. It's a physical and emotional rollercoaster. I did another opk and it's darker so think ovulation is near. What do you think? Bottom is today x

@Nats7504 absolutely they do!!! I told DP today we gotta do it tonight just to cover ourselves properly and he just laughed! He is enjoying it!! What lube is that? The preseed? Have you used it before??

@Springflower3 If you’re ovulating that soon after come off the pill that really promising. Took my sister 4 months to have a period after coming off hers. Men make me laugh, mine is like a kid in a toy shop. I wouldn’t mind but he’s not exactly been deprived before TTC 🙄 Yeah the preseed, I’ve never used it before and in all honestly it looks a little daunting with the syringes 🙈 but it’s worth a shot I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

@ @Skl2021 will we be relaxing 🤣🤣 or counting the hours till testing time! I’m gonna take tomorrow as day 1 because they say you ovulate 12/24 hours after the peak! So fingers crossed for you you will be joining me!! What time are you gonna take it tomorrow?

@Springflower3 Yeah, it worried her but she was pregnant 2 months after them starting. Yours coming back straight away is fab 😊 I couldn’t imagine how the other ladies feel waiting months for their cycles to return to somewhat normal again. 😔 The syringes are meant to be used to get the lube right up there I guess. Sexy huh. Bet he can’t wait to see that magic happen 🙈 We’re a 2-3 times a week, really depends what kind of week we’re having 🤷🏻‍♀️ Have to say we’ve only been together 3 years so it could drastically reduce in the future 🤣 I’m on CD10 so should be ovulating within the next few days, so behind you both which will make it worse in a few weeks when you’re testing!! Xx

@Skl2021 how much how long are not peeing or drinking for before testing? A lot of ppl defo say second pee of the day is the best..... I think we all wing it in the end don’t we?

It’s hard not to think about it all the time isn’t it? I’m a control freak in general so should’ve expected it. Have you had a full cycle since your breakthrough bleed? Xx

@Nats7504 oh god! That’s bound to be a mood killer! 🤣🤣 did you buy as another help along or do you think you don’t produce the right CM? I haven’t told dp I have the OvuSense, he would think I have lost the plot entirely!! How are your opk looking? Is there any sign of a line??
No, this will be my first cycle which is why I am so keen to know if I ovulated, I defo didn’t between between stopping pill and bleeding... is that normal?? Xx

It would be wouldn’t it. Babe, Lube me up with that fertile syringe 🤣 I think I’m ok on the CM front but the reviews are good for making everything more “favourable to sperm” It could be a total load of shit and I’ve wasted £18 but hey ho. 🙈 I started my OPKs today as I ovulate at different times depending on my cycle length. It could be any day now so making sure we BD every other day to make sure. I think I’ve been stopping too early after a positive OPK so going to BD a few days after too. Best to cover all bases and all that! My foof is going to need some serious R&R after this! 🤣 I think it’s normal not to ovulated straight after the pill as it’s not a true period and only a breakthrough? But I could be wrong. Have you had a positive OPK yet? I think I read up thread that you had? Xx

mfg @Nats7504 that had me howling!!! That’s sounds so romantic!!! Well what have you got to lose? If it doesn’t work what have you lost? When do you take your opk? I do mine second pee of the day but @Skl2021 was saying it’s better in the afternoon? I found I was to hydrated in the evening and the lines weren’t the same! I got my peak yesterday morning with my second pee! It was blazing! A line stealer even!! I have attached a pic of my lines so far.... I think I should stop now! 🤣🤣🤣

@Springflower3 None of this baby making malarkey is romantic. Surprised they come back for more each month with enthusiasm. 🤣 Yeah, I guess you’re right. I have nothing to lose and if it works then yay! I take mine around midday until my peak and then the day after to make sure it’s gone. Wow! That’s a mighty fine peak that lady! You’ve defo ovulated after that line!!! 🙌 xx

@Springflower3 Mine is a nympho so nothing seems to put him off!! Plus he’s so excited at the prospect of becoming a Dad. He’s amazing with my 2 so would love to give him one of his own ❤️ I don’t know, maybe? For some reason I feel weird about using it 🙈 I think it’s cause it’s a step further than I ever thought I’d go if that makes sense. But needs must. I’m not getting any younger and we’re 5 months in. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We both work from home in day jobs but I’ve never been a during the day kind of girl. I like the comfort of a bed and not being all yucky on the school run 🤣
Have you taken one today to see if the line has started to fade? Maybe leave him to rest tonight and jump back on him tomorrow to make sure 😉 cc

Awk bless him, what age is he again? Did he always want kids?? It’s nice when they get on with your kids! It already shows they will be a good dad! 5 months is still reasonable, but I think I’d be like you and buying everything and anything I can to help.... says me that has bought an internal thermometer for the first cycle 😑😑

@Springflower3 Going by your chart it looks like you had your peak yesterday morning. and you tend to ovulate 12/36 hours after that. So it could’ve happened yesterday, today or even tomorrow and the egg lives for 24 hours or something like that. You might have to disturb his sleep for another night to cover yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️ He’s 34 so a few years younger than me. He’s fab with kids but his ex wife didn’t want any. It’s not long in the grand scheme of things and compared to many on this journey, if I was younger I think I’d probably be more relaxed. But knowing me I doubt it 🤣 XX

Awk god love him! Will you guys have more than one do you think? There is the same age difference between you guys and me and DP although in reverse! So it’s not to much of a difference! Have you told anyone your trying or keeping it between you? Xx

I don’t think we’ll have more than the 1 to be honest due to my age and the practicalities of it. We’d need a bigger house and car etc

@Springflower3 that was when it was still wet so it did go darker than the pic. That's close enough for me I'm going to take it 🤣 assume IL ovulate tomorrow and just 🤞 glad it's nearly over 🤦🤣 tww I'm coming!! X
