Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

@Springflower3 ohh maybe there's different rules then I thought all opks were used after dinner 🙈 I used them with my first baby. I'm trying for my third now. Second one I conceived first month so didn't need them. This time I'm using cheapies as my ovulation has been all over and it would cost to much to use them. Also had some long cycles were ovulation was around cd 28 so I was testing for ages 🙊🤣 oh I always read past the time limit and go by that as it's still faint within the time limits!! That photo I sent u was way past time limits 🤣 would never get positive if I waited. Maybe If i got a massive surge it would. My true peak would probably show in the time limit 🙈🤦🤔 well IV tried the smep which is every other day from say 8 then three times around ovulation then miss a day then do it again. And IV tried like maybe every day around ovulation for like 6 days. But it's just so much hard work especially when I can have long cycles. So this month I'm going with the flow I haven't DTD as much as I normally would xx

I’ve added the pic of one that was took at half 9 this morning, I have just taken the pic there now so is it invalid??
It makes me think I’ve been reading them wrong all along as I usually threw them away after 5 mins 🙈🙈
You wonder how you even get pregnant in the first place if it is by accident when here we are planning it day by day just to make sure we get it right! And even at that, it still might not happen!! Xx

@Springflower3 looks positive to me or very close to positive 🤞 people may say there invalid after so long but I always check mine later on as they don't go dark in the time stated. I would never get a peak if I went off that. Haha yes it's alot of work and planning wish it just happened 🤦🤣 xx

@Skl2021 well I’m starting to get ewcm as well so flip maybe things are starting to happen 🙈🙈
How does you DP cope with it? Is he ok with knowing when your ovulating?

@Springflower3 yes that all sounds positive 🤞 for you. Here's my tests 🤦 both dipped in same urine. Don't even know what to think anymore 🙈

@Skl2021 I have read (alot like a crazy woman) that different tests are set to pick up different levels etc so honestly I would trust the line! Your getting there!! I’m not gonna drink for the next couple of hours and then try one before bed..... I’m scared this is a bit early for me... prior to the pill I didn’t ovulate until cd 20... I’m only cd 13 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Xx

@Springflower3 don't worry about it! What will be will be mine have also been at different times. I'm cd 18 today but might actually be cd 16 as I spotted on period for a few days which I counted as cd 1. I'm trying not to get too obsessed with it all as it drives me crazy. Last few month IV been testing like a crazy women multiple times. IV only got about 2 ovulation tests left so once they have gone I'm done. Does your partner struggle when he knows your ovulating? My oh isn't to bothered by it all he would do it ten times a day if I let him 🤦😂 xx

Hello! We’ve finally decided to go for number 3, always set out wanting 3 (or 4 but now we deffo won’t go for number 4 - but I’d be secretly delighted if number 3 was twins 😂) but had a massive will-we-won’t-we-theworldisgoingtoshit crisis for the past 3 years or so!

We have 2 boys, almost 6 and 3.5. DS1 was from one slip up on holiday, and DS2 was conceived first month of trying. This month we did it once unprotected on ovulation day, just coincidentally, so who knows!

Also we are about to start a huge extension soooo yeah. We like to be busy 😄

And I am 31 :)

@Skl2021 I’m being a pure pollute! But look! Look at my line this evening 🙈🙈 This has never happened me before! I didn’t even really dehydrate myself 🤣🤣

@Springflower3 I would say tomorrow or next day definitely getting darker now. 🤞 Hoping it's the same for me!! 😀 Tww together!! Xx

@Skl2021 aww it would be awesome to have someone going the journey with me! I just to DP there and he was like.... you need to calm down 🤣🤣 he doesn’t understand that is women can become convinced the pill is gonna make us infertile!!

@Springflower3 yes it's nice to have someone to talk to about it. My partner doesn't realise all this stuff we have to do and doesn't understand it all anyway 😂 What cycle u on now? Xx

@Skl2021 absolutely! They just think they stick it in do the job and a baby appears 9mths later!
I came off the pill end of March and then had my break thru bleed about 4 weeks later.... so really this will be cycle 1?? I know you have said what cycle are you? Do just get a peak suddenly or is it slow progression? Xx

@Springflower3 no we have just been avoiding fertile days for our whole marriage.... except that one time on holiday for DS1 😂 but if we hadn’t been open to kids we would have been using a real contraceptive method of course! Luckily I have quite a regular cycle so doesn’t take much calculating for me.

I am 6DPO I think although my last period was a week late so I don’t know! I have never had that happen before. So I did a test last month and we were sad I wasn’t pregnant (even though we weren’t consciously TTC then) so this month we decided we should just go for it. Of course, last month at a week late my period showed up a couple of hours after I’d taken a test! Typical!

@Springflower3 ooo maybe u will get lucky first month 🤞🤞 I'm on cycle 4 now. I usually get a couple of days of high then strong positive. This month IV had about 6 days of high 🤦 and no positive as yet haha if it's not in next few days then I don't know what's going on xx

@Terrazzo do you test early or wait for af? Yes that's has happened to me before as soon as I test af shows 🤦🙈 like my body waits for it 🤣 xx

@Skl2021 will you take a test tonight? Maybe you will see more of rise!? My delight from earlier is wearing off cause I’m thinking I am defo earlier than usual so I might just get highs then nothing but I will just have to keep testing!
I defo think you will peak tomorrow or the next.... your getting a good wee line so something is happening!! Xx

@Springflower3 no I'm only doing one a day. IV only got about two left anyway and I'm not buying anymore. So if it doesn't happen in the next 2 days then I won't know 🙈 stresses me out to much I'm just going with the flow xx

@Skl2021 your just right! Tbh I just want to know if I am ovulating.... I know opk are definitive but they are the cheapest way of gauging it!
Have you tested this morning?
I’m gonna take a test here now shortly and see what going on today.... we have not dtd as much as I would have liked! Xx

@Springflower3 no IL test around tea time. We haven't DTD much either. Fingers crossed yours have gone darker xxx

@Skl2021If it hasn’t, then I will scream! I used the OvuSense last night too for the 2nd time but it gives me nothing as ive only used it twice 🤣🤣
I’m routing for you too! Even if it goes darker in the next day or two we can still go through the dreaded tww together! Xx

@Skl2021 so this was this mornings, I did take the one marked peak at 6:45 (this was my second pee of the day) so I was gonna disregard it.... then took the next there as I said and it is lower? So fuck knows what this means 🤷‍♀️Xx
